East Devon Junior Cross Country Series 2008/9

This is a new series of three winter races with real cross-country terrain ... none of that namby-pamby
parkland! They will involve some rough terrain, hills and hopefully mud & water (weather permitting).
First race held under EA rules; second and third under ARC rules; permits applied for.

There will be three categories based upon ages on 31st August 2008, each with their own race:

Minimum age 10. Approx.
Seniors will also be allowed to race, either with the U17s or afterwards, depending upon numbers.

Entry fee - £1 juniors; £3 seniors.
Due to the expected numbers and limited facilities at the venues, the races will only be open to
members of the three organising clubs, Axe Valley, Honiton and Sidmouth. (Broader participation may
be possible in future years.)
Individual race prizes and series trophies for first three boys and girls in each category; series trophies
for first club in each age category (boys' and girls' scores added together).
No prizes for seniors but age-graded results will be produced for their edification and entertainment!
