Malaysia is one country that is somewhat related to Rwanda and the DR

Congo in Africa. This relation is reflected in the country's continuing

preference in practising and nourishing racial bias over truth and the
laws of natural justice.

Many Malay politicians in the country often like to create and play up
racial feelings over the slightest hint of unhappiness or dissatisfaction
aired by either politicians or non-politicians.

Recent cases in point include the orchestrated public uproar over the
appointment of a woman to head the PKNS organisation and the proposed
new nameplates of some roads in Penang. The woman happened to be a non-
Malay and despite the announcement that the appointment was for only a
short period, Malay ultra extremists were soon having a field day making
statements that were not only straying from the truth and the laws of
natural justice and fairplay but wildly provocative and showing a general
tendency of wanting to return to the ways of the past. The extremists
were also ignoring the fact that the Penang state government was not
changing the street names but only making them more tourist-friendly.

Do these race extremists ever pause for a moment and think what would
happen if the situation was played out with the actors or participants
involved getting replaced altogether by a different set ?

The result would most definitely follow the examples in Rwanda and
the DR Congo. Senseless violence and killings plus massive floods of
displaced people. Who then would be held responsible ?

Definitely not the extremists. They would surely spare no stone unturned
to do anything, even to make sure that history be re-written, if that
was necessary, to put all blame on the other side.

That was what these extremists were so busy doing post-1969 but foreign
journalistic records will forever make sure that history holds them fully
responsible. No amount of vocal linen-washing year-after-year will clean
the moral stain.

These extremists have totally ignored the plight of non-Malays in the

country. Just because the non-Malays prefer to remain silent, ( either by
choice or by force of circumstance ) does not mean that they are always
willing to accept or tolerate these continuing injustices and outright
discriminations that are being forced on them.

Non-Malays generally accept that there might be unavoidable cases of

racial bias on the part of the government in administrating the country,
but there can be little acceptance at the continuing racial distortion
and division that are being unceasingly peddled by ultra extremists.

The federal government must not and cannot keep silent.

The government must counter the lying statements and untrue accusations
of these extremists and silence them.

State publicly the plight of the non-Malays:

70% of bright students in the country who fail to gain admission to public
universities are non-Malays. The number of non-Malays who fail to repay
loans are vastly outnumbered by Malays. The number of non-Malay employees
in the public sector are greatly dwarfed by Malays. And, all the GLCs in
the country are dominated by Malays, from the top to the bottom levels.

The Chinese form only a quarter of the population in the country but they
constitute the majority of crime victims. The majority of drug addicts are
not non-Malays and the non-Malays hardly participate in the constant and
unsolvable motorbike nuisance and bike gangsterism that are seen along
the length and breadth of the country.

The list goes on and on and would take a book to publish them all. But it
would suffice for the government to make all the facts and figures public
and exorcise the evil and very vocal and unstoppable vile propaganda that
the ultra extremists so shamelessly loved to churn out.
