3. (a) Draw the projection of a square pyramid of base 40 side and axis 70 long, when the solid lies with one of its slant edges on HP and the vertical plane passing through that slant edge and axis makes 300 with V.P. (20) OR 3. (b) Draw the plan and elevation of a right regular pentagonal prism side of base 25 mm and axis 58 mm long when it is resting on its base on H.P. with one of its rectangular faces making an angle of 300 to V.P. (20) 4. (a) A hexagonal prism side of base 20mm and axis 50mm long rest with its base on H.P. such that one of the rectangular faces is parallel to V.P. it is cut by a plane perpendicular to V.P. inclined at 450 to H.P. and passing through 20mm from top face. Draw the sectional view of the solid. (20) OR 4. (b) A cone base 50mm diameter and axis 65mm long, rest with its base on H.P. A sectional plane perpendicular to V.P. and inclined at 300 to H.P bisects the axis of the cone. Draw the Development of the lateral surface of the truncated cone. (20) 5. (a) A Pentagonal Pyramid. 30mm edge of base and 65mm height stands on HP such that an edge of the base is parallel to VP. It is cut by a plane perpendicular to VP and inclined at 30 to HP cuts the pyramid passing through a point on the axis at a height to 35mm from the base. Draw the isometric view of the truncated pyramid showing the cut surface. (20) OR 5. (b) Draw the perspective view of a cube of 2.5cm edge, lying on a face on the ground plane, with an edge in the PP and all vertical faces equally inclined to the PP. the station point is 5 cm in front of the PP, 3.5cm above the ground plane and lies in a central plane which is 1cm to the left of the centre of the cube.
