Our Opinion:
In our modest opinion, we think that distance learning is an informal process, and distance education is a formal process. Learning is knowledge gained through experience, and education is knowledge gained through teaching. Education is something that an individual gets from an outside source. On the other hand, learning is something that evolves in the inner self. So we prefer to use Distance Education

Then computer-based distance education was introduced, using technologies such as network-based computer conferencing and tapes. Today we're looking at web-based instruction using telecommunication and Internet technologies.

Access to the instructor is gained through technology such as the Internet, interactive videoconferencing and satellite. They emphasize on the new technology to deliver the content.
