Youaretoldthat: "InthebeginningwastheWord,andtheWordwaswithGod,andtheWordwasGod. "ThesamewasinthebeginningwithGod. Allthingsweremadebyhim,bytheWord, andwithoutHim theWord wasnotanything madethatwasmade." YoushalllearnhereinhowMyWordwasinthebeginning,howItwaswithMe,andhowItwasI,My SelfhowallthingsweremadebyMeandbyMyWord,andthatwithoutMeandMyWordwas nothingmadethatnowexists. Now,awordtothehumanunderstandingisasymbolofanIdeathatis,itstandsfor,embodies,and representsanIdea. YouareaWord,asymbolofanIdea,ifyoucanseeit.Soisadiamond,aviolet,ahorse. Whenyoucandiscerntheideabackofthesymbol,thenyouknowthesoulortherealityofthe manifestationappearingasaman,adiamond,ahorse,aviolet. Hence,aword,asusedintheabovequotation,meansanIdea,anIdealatentandunmanifest,however, waitingtobeexpressed,orthoughtandspokenforth,insomeformoranother. TheWordthatwasinthebeginningandthatwaswithMewasthennotonlyanIdea,butItwasMy IdeaofMySelfINEXPRESSIONinanewstateorcondition,whichyoucallearthlife. ThisIdeawasI,MySelf,becauseItwaspart ofMe,beingasyetlatentandunmanifestwithinMefor ItwasofthesubstanceandessenceofMyBEing,whichisItselfanIdea,theOneOriginalIdea. AllthingsweremadebyMebythevitalizedactionofthis,MyIdea,beingthoughtandspokeninto expressionandnothinghasbeenorevercanbeexpressedinearthlifewithouthavingMyIdeaasthe primaryandfundamentalcauseandprincipleofitsbeing. This,MyIdea,therefore,isnowintheprocessofunfoldmentorofbeingthoughtintoouterexpression somecallitevolution, justasistheflowerwhenthebudputsforthfromthestalkandfinallyopens intotheblossom,obeyingtheurgetoexpressMyIdeahiddenwithinitssoul.

JustsowillIdevelopandunfoldallMymediumsofexpression,whichshallfinally,unitedlyand completelypictureforthMyIdeafromouttheirsouls,inallthegloryofItsperfection. Atpresentthesemediumsareofsuchnaturethattheyrequiremanylanguagesofmanytypes,fromthe simplesttothemostcomplex,composedofalmostaninfinitenumberofWords,toexpressMyIdea. ButwhenIshallhavecompletelythoughtoutMyIdea,orshallhaveperfectedMymanymediumsof expression,thenshallMyIdeashineforthineveryWord,each,infact,beingaperfectpartorphaseof MyIdea,allsochosenandarrangedthattheywillreallybeasoneWord,radiatingthesublime significanceofMyMeaning. Now,MyConsciousnessistheinneressenceofallSpaceandallLife.ItistherealSubstanceofMy AllcomprehendingandAllincludingMind,whoseinformingandvitalizingCenteriseverywhereand Itslimitandcircumferencenowhere.WithintherealmofMyMindaloneIliveandmoveandhaveMy Being.Itbothcontainsandfillsallthings,andItseveryvibrationandmanifestationisbutthe expressionofsomephaseofMyBeing. Beingisexpressingoroutpressing.Youcannotimaginebeingwithoutexpression.Therefore,I,All thatis,AMexpressing,constantlyandcontinuouslyexpressing. Expressingwhat? WhatelsecouldIexpress,ifIAMAllthatIs,butMySelf? YoucannotyetseeorcomprehendwhenIinspireyouwith anIdea. Therefore,ifIAMAllthereis,thatIdea,whichisdirectfromMe,mustbepartoforaphaseofMy SelfinBeingorExpression. AnyIdea,oncebornwithintherealmofMyMind,ashasbeenshown,immediatelybecomesaReality, forintheEternalityofMyBeingTimeisnot.Withyou,however,anIdeafirstcreatesDesire,adesire toexpressthatIdeathenDesirecompelsThinking,ThinkingcausesAction,andActionproduces Results theIdeainactualoutermanifestation. InRealityIhavenoDesire,forIAMAllThings,andAllThingsareofMe.Ineedonlytothinkand SpeaktheWordtoproduceresults. YetthatDesireyoufeelinyouisfromMe,becauseitisbornofMyIdea,whichIimplantedinyour mindonlythatItmightcomeforthintoexpressionthroughyou.Indeed,whateveryoudesireisI, knockingatthedoorofyourmind,announcingMyPurposeofmanifestingMySelfinyouorthrough youintheparticularformindicatedbythatDesire. WhatiscalledDesireinhumanpersonalities,isbutthenecessaryActionofMyWillpushingforththe expressionofMyIdeaintoouterManifestationorBeing. WhattoyouwouldseemtobeinMeadesireforexpression,isbuttheNecessityofMyIdeaofMy SelftoBe,orExpressItself.

Therefore,everyrealdesireyoufeel,everydesireofyourheart,comesfromMeandmustofnecessity sometime,insomeshapeorother,befulfilled. However,asIhavenoDesire,becauseIAMAllThings,oncethisIdeaofexpressingMySelfinthis newconditionwasborn,Ihadbuttothink,thatis,toconcentrateorfocusMyAttentionuponMyIdea andWillIttocomeforthintoexpression,or,asistoldinMyotherRevelation,toSpeaktheCreative Word,andatoncedidtheCosmicForcesofMyBEing,setin vibrationbytheconcentratingofMy Will,proceedtoattractthenecessaryelementsfromtheeternalstorehouseofMyMind,and,withMy Ideaasanucleus,tocombine,formandshapearoundIttheseelementsintowhatiscalledathought formofaplanet,fillingitwithMyLifeSubstanceMyConsciousnessandendowingitwithallthe potentialitiesofMyBeing. Thisactofthinkingproducedonlyavitalizedthoughtformofaplanet,anditsmanifestationwasstill inanebulousstateinthethoughtrealm. Fromathoughtform,however,thequickeningpoweroftheIdeawithin,withMyWillfocuseduponIt, proceededtomold,fashionandgraduallytosolidifyintomaterialformthevariouselementsofLife SubstanceuntilMyIdeafinallyshoneforth insubstantialmanifestationintheworldofvisibleforms astheplanetEarth,amediumreadyforlivingexpression,andnowcapableofbothcontainingand expressingMe. ThiswasthematerialbodypreparedbyMyThinking,inwhichalreadydweltallthepotentialnatureof MyBeing,byreasonoftheinformingpowerofMyIdeawithin. ThenextstagewasthedevelopingandpreparingofavenuesormediumsthroughwhichIcouldexpress themanifoldphases,possibilitiesandpowersofMyIdea. Theoutwardevidenceofthiswaswhatisknownasthemineral,vegetableandanimalkingdoms, which,eachinturn,asitcameintomanifestation,graduallyunfoldedhigherandmorecomplexstates ofconsciousnessthatenabledMemoreandmoreclearlytoexpresstheinfinitephasesandvarietyof MyNature. ItwasatthisstagethatIlookeduponMyCreation,asstatedinMyotherRevelation,andsawthatIt wasgood Butthereyetremainedthefinalandculminatingmediumofexpression. Uptothispoint,whileeachperfectlyexpressedsomephaseofMyNature,yetallexistingmediums andavenueswereunconsciousofMe,andweremediumsofexpressiononlyasawireisamediumfor conductingheat,lightandpower. Theconditionswereripe,however,forthecreationof mediumsthroughwhichMyDivineAttributes couldfindconsciousexpression,consciousnotonlyoftheirrelationshiptoMe,butoftheirabilityand powertoexpressMyIdea. ItwasatthismomentinTimethatYouandYourBrothersandSisterswerebornintoexistenceas humanexpressions,comingintomanifestationasyoudid,similarlywithallothermediums,in responsetoMyconcentratedThought,inwhichIsawalltheinfinitevarietyofMyAttributesinactual

expressioninentitizedforms,eachmanifestinginpredominancesomeparticularphaseofMyBeing, andeachconsciousofMe,ItsCreatorandExpressor. IsawYouinperfectexpression,evenasIseeYounow theRealYou,anAttributeofMySelf perfect. ForinRealityYouareanAngelof Light,oneofMyThoughtRays,anAttributeofMyBeing, ensouledinEarthconditions,withnootherpurpose(whichisnopurposeatall,butanecessityofMy Being)butthefinalcompleteexpressionofMyIdea. IntheEternalthereisnoTime,orSpace, orIndividuality,anditisonlybyreasonofthephenomenon ofThoughtbeingbornfromthewombofMindintotheworldofMatterthattheillusionsofTime, SpaceandIndividualityoccurthethought,orCreature,acquiringtheconsciousnessofseparateness fromitsThinkerorCreator. SoitwasthenthatthefirsttendencytothinkyourselfasseparatefromMewasborn.Thecomplete consciousnessofseparationdidnotbecomeestablisheduntillongafter. Inthebeginning,whenYouthusfirstenteredintoEarthexpression,obeyingtheimpulseIhadsent forththroughMyconcentratedThought,You,oneofMyAttributes,surroundedorclothedYourSelf withMyIdeaofMySelfinexpressionastheparticularAttributeYourepresented.Youbeingthe animatingForceofthatIdea. Inotherwords,MyIdeaofMySelfexpressingthatparticularAttributethenbecametheSoulofYour particularexpression.ButthatIdeaorSoulisnotYou,remember,forYouarereallyapartofMe, beingMySelfinexpressionthroughthemediumofthatparticularAttribute. HavingclothedYourSelfwithMyIdea,thisIdeathen,throughthenecessityofItsbeing,immediately begantoattracttoItselfthenecessaryThoughtSubstancerequisitefortheexpressionofthatparticular Attribute,andtobuildandshapeitintoMyImageandLikeness.ItthusbecameaHolyTemple,filled withMylivingPresence,becauseinhabitedbyYou,oneofMyDivineAttributes. ThisTemple,beinginMyImageandLikeness,andcomposedofMyThoughtSubstance,surrounding andclothingMyIdea,isconsequentlyyourRealbody.Itisthereforeindestructible,immortal,perfect. ItisMycomplete,imagined(imagedin)Thought,containingMyLivingEssence,awaitingthetime whenitcancomeintoouterexpressionandtakeonmaterialform. Sonowwehave, First,IAM,expressingasYou,oneofMyDivineAttributes Second,MyIdeaofYou,oneofMyAttributes,expressinginEarthconditions orYourSoul Third,MyImagedThoughtofYou,formingtheTempleofYourSoul orYourSoulBodyinwhich Youdwell. ThesethreemakeuptheDivineorImpersonalpartofYou,theImmortalThreeinOneYou,My latentyetcompletelyformulatedthought,shapedinMyImageandLikeness,asyetunquickened,and thereforehavingnoconnectionwithyourhumanpersonality,whichhasnotyetbeenborn.

TheGardenofEden Whetherornotyouhavegottenanycleargraspofwhathasjustbeenstated,donotdiscarditas impossibleofcomprehension.Forineverylineishiddenameaningthatwillmorethanrepayyoufor thestudynecessarytomakeitbecomeclear. ThisMessageistoawakenyoutoarealizationofwhatYouare,toarealizationofyourrealSelf.Itis intendedtomakeyouoncemoreconsciousofMe,yourDivineSelf,soconsciousthatneveragainwill youbedeceivedbythatotherself,whichyouhaveimaginedasbeingyouandwhichsolonghaslured youonbyfeedingyouwithitsunsatisfyingsensepleasures,itsmentaldissipationsandemotional delights. Beforethatcanbeitwillbenecessaryforyouthoroughlytoknowthatsupposedotherself,thatself whichYoucreatedbythinkingitrealandseparatefromMe,andthenkeptalivebygivingitthepower thustoenticeanddeceiveyouyes,thatselfcreatedself,withitspurelyselfishprideandambitions andimaginedpower,itsloveoflife,ofpossessions,ofbeingthoughtwiseorgood, butwhichselfis merelyyourhumanpersonality,whichwasbornonlytodieasaseparateidentity,andassuchhasno morerealityorpermanencethattheleaf,thesnoworthecloud. Yes,youwillbebroughtfacetofacewiththatpettypersonalself,andwillseewithperfectvisionall itssordidselfishnessandhumanvanitiesandyouwillthenlearn if youbutturntoMeandaskin simplefaithandtrust thatitisI,theInfinite,ImpersonalpartofYou,abidingalwayswithin,Whoam thuspointingouttoyoualltheseillusionsofthepersonality,whichforsomanyageshaveseparated youinconsciousnessfromMe,Yourglorious,DivineSelf. Thisrealizationwillsurelycome,whenyoucanrecognizethatthisMessageisfromMe,andwhenyou havedeterminedthatitshallbe.Toyou,whomIhaveinspiredwithsuchadetermination,Iwillcause everyillusionintimetodisappear,andyoushallintruthknowMe. Theexerciseofyourmindalongtheseabstractlineswillnothurtyou.Insteaditiswhatyourmind needs.For,notuntilyoucangraspMyMeaningwhenpresentedtoyouinideassuchasthereherein contained,comingfromwithout,canyouperceiveandcorrectlyinterpretMyIdeawhenIinspireyou fromwithin.YourmindIAMthuspreparingforUSE,nottogainmoreearthlyknowledge,butinorder thatyoucanreceiveandgiveforthMyHeavenlyKnowledgetothosewhomIshallbringtoyoufor thatpurpose.

ThusnolongerseeingtheSoulofthings,butonlytheirmistyshadows,yougrewtothinkingthese shadowswererealsubstance,andthattheworldaboutyouwascomposedofandfilledwithsuch substance. Yourlifewillnolongerbecenteredinyourself,butthatselfwillbelost,mergedinyourotherSelves, givingfreelyofyourLife,yourUnderstanding,yourStrength,yourSubstance,whicharebutphasesof MyImpersonalLifeorMyImpersonalLove,thatIhaveportionedouttoyouonlyforsuchuse. IheretellyouplainlythatMyImpersonalLovehasnaughttodowithpersonallivesandpersonal loves.AllsucharebuttheoutermediumsIusethroughwhichtopourfromouttheheartofHumanity intotheworldMyRealLove,whereitiseverexpressingitsallembracing,vitalizing,creative,and upliftingPower. MyLoveconsidersnotindividualsorpersonalitiestheyarebutpawnsonthechessboardoflifewhich ImoveasIdeembesttoaccomplishMypurpose, thefullandcompleteexpressioninHumanityof MyDivineIdea. InHumanityonlycanIexpressMyIdea,evenasyoucanexpressyourideaofyourselfonlyinand throughyourhumanpersonality. InHumanityIliveandmoveandhaveMyBeing.ItisthemortalpersonalityandbodyofMyImmortal Self,evenasyourpersonalityanditsbodyiswhatyouusetoexpressyourbeing. AllindividualhumanpersonalitieswiththeirbodiesarebutthecellsofMyBodyofHumanity.Justas theIAMofyouisnowbuildingyourbodysothatthroughitYoucanperfectlyexpressMyIdeaof you,oryourRealSelf,soAMIgraduallybuildingHumanitysothatthroughItIcanperfectlyexpress MyIdeaofMySelf. AstheindividualcellsofMyBodyofHumanity,evenasthoseofyourhumanbody,bypartakingof MyLife,becomeImpersonalandharmoniouspartsoftheorganstheyform,theyliveahealthyand happylife.Butletonecellopposeoractcontrarytothegenerallawofitsorgan,andtheharmonious functioningofthatorganbecomesimpossible,whichnaturallyaffectsthewholebodyandresultsin disease. Everycellofanorganisanintegralpartofthatorgan,anditsworkisnecessarytothatorgan'sperfect functioningandtotheperfecthealthofMyBody.Sothatunlesseachcellgivesupallitspowerandall itsintelligence,whicharebutattributesoftheLifeIgiveit,towardtheperfectfunctioningofMyentire Body,theonlyresultforMyBodycanbeinharmony,withitsconsequenteffects, disease,suffering, sin,bondage,poverty,lackofunderstanding,disintegration,ordeath. Likewise,unlesseachorgangivesupalltheintelligenceandallthepowerswithWhichIendowedit,to theonepurposeofexpressingandmaintainingthelifeofMyBodyinperfecthealth,theonlyresultcan bedisorganization,disruption,rebellion,andfinallyWAR,warbetweenthevariousorgansand betweentheirrespectivecells,andagreaterorlesserconsequentchaoticconditioninMywholeBody. InMyBodyofHumanitythiswouldmeanwarbetweenNations,whicharetheOrgansofMyBody.As allwarisbutacutediseaseordisharmony,andasMyLife,whichinHumanitymanifestsasImpersonal Love,canexpressonlyinharmony evenasinthephysicalbody,Itisalwaysutilizing,equalizingand preparingconditionssothatItcanthusexpress. ThisItdoeseitherbyeradicatinggraduallyfromthevariousorgansofthebodyalldisease,weakened andunfitcells,orbydevelopingthediseaseintoamalignantforminthephysicalbody.Itthrowsoff suchcellsquicklybythebillions,untilaparticularorgan eitherispurifiedoritspoweroffunctioningis whollydestroyed. otherideathanthis,andmakesitselfapureandselflesschannelthroughwhichMyImpersonalLife canflow,thenhasMyBodybecomeaharmoniousandperfectWholeandthencanMyIdeaexpressof earthItsDivinepowersandpossibilities,evenasitdoesintheCelestialRealmoftheEternal. AsyougiveupyourselfwhollytoMethatIcanpourthroughyouMyHoly,ImpersonalLove,having nootherthoughtthantheperfectexpressionofthatLove,whichisMyRealLife,thenwillIthrough youbeenabledtoquickenandawakenthoseaboutyougraduallytoarecognitionofMe,TheChrist withinthem,sothattheytoowilllikewisegiveuptheirselveswhollytoMe.Finallytheorgan,orthat particularpartofMyBodyofHumanityyouandtheyform,attainsperfecthealthandharmony,and addsitsquotatothebringingaboutandmaintainingofperfecthealthinMyentireBody.
