Each user customizes his home page, has access to the centralized public address book, can easily
create private address book, can import external address books and easily create customized mailings.

Receive faxes specifically sent to you directly on your PC, your fax or network printer through the DAS
(Direct Arrival Selection) via ISDN.
You are free to choose the distribution channel adapted to your company: either on each receivers
terminal or on a central distribution (Super User) in charge of dispatching faxes received.

A unique interface
You can send or receive faxes or e-mail from your usual mailbox client: sending a unique
message to fax or e-mail correspondents, use of the e-mail address book. The acknowled-
gement of receipt is clearly posted in the sending book to keep you always informed on the
status of your sending.
Complementary fax services
Depending on your mail client, you can access forms allowing you to manage home pages
and profiles, to pre-visualize your faxes before sending and receiving a sending receipt.

A simplified organisation

ARCHIVE YOUR FAX TRAFFIC AND YOUR
SCANNED DOCUMENTS
All your broadcast or received faxes are stored on the SAGEM F@X SERVER . All the fax traffic and scan-
ned documents are automatically saved via the SONAR application. SONAR is a multi user friendly and perfor-
ming archiving system which allow you to save your fax traffic and scanned documents from a
LAN SAGEM multifunction.
The scanned documents being directly indexed, you can also initiate a plain text or single and fast
multicriteria research via SONAR.
PDF archived documents can be consulted or re-printed from a Windows terminal.
Each user can organize his own secured archiving system.
Inserted page editor simplifies and automates the archiving & broadcasting of your document
via a tick-off system.
All documents can be saved on a CD Rom export system. A powerful research system is set-up (by type, by
period, by number, by name or even by keyword in the research document) to help you visualize, restore,
print or retreat them.

Follow your communication in real time
A notice keeps you informed of sending & receptions in real time. Color icons facilitate visualization of
all faxes broadcast, received, non-transmitted or archived.
You can freely consult or print the broadcast report after each sending.

Achieve higher security
All paper or electronic faxes, as well as scanned documents, are archived on
the SAGEM F@X SERVER: You keep track and control of all company inco-
ming and outgoing faxes. In case of network failure, the SAGEM multifunction

SERVER from Windows, MacOS, UNIX, AS400 applications or Linux redirecting
the printing flow toward a shared printer via The SAGEM F@X SERVER.
During a fax sending, no extra window asks for the senders fax number.
Seen as a printer driver (Windows) or a LPR/LPD spool (Unix, Mac, AS400,
Linux) Autofax can automatically extract the fax number from PDF, PCL5,
Poscript, text format files.

Stick to your habits

You can send a fax directly from the connected SAGEM multifunction. It will
transit via The SAGEM F@X SERVER without you even notice it. The server
is also compatible with multifunction (T37 protocol supported). In this case,
SAGEM needs to evaluate the multifunction park.
The ergonomic, the autonomy and the user friendliness of the SAGEM multi-
function are fully preserved: fax sending via the alphabetical keyboard or
repertory, acknowledgement of receipt with the first page reduced, automatic
reception and fax & e-mail printing through the company network.
