LASVEGAS(AP) A former Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles clerk has pleaded guilty to a federal bribery charge for accepting thousands of dollars to provide drivers licenses to illegal immigrants. The 28yearReporting WebmistressBlog Advertisement

Joe Kansas City 214 licenses at $2250 (the average between $1500 & $3000) is $481500. So she is going to make out with over $231500 after paying the fine of $250k. That is if she gets the full fine. So it seems crime does pay in this situation not counting the 10 years in jail which she probably wont serve the full sentence. She should have to pay back all of the earned income from the transactions and should have a life sentence. This behavior is unacceptable. We have to stop the abuse of power in this country. Throughout the communities in California, Arizona, and Nevada, it is known that almost all DMV personnel will give okay a license for the social security numbers cicurlated around and on the wall in the DMV bathrooms. No one would ever have to bribe someone when they can get it for free. This same social security number is used to file a tax return with bogus W2 to get a tax refund and tax credit even when no taxes were withheld. This mechanism cost over $1.2billion last year. There are no checks for duplicate social security numbers, etc. In any case, it would have been cheaper to drive to Arizona where all DMVs give out licenses without any checking.
