Due to the popularity of classes and limited places available, cancellation fees apply.** Classes not meeting minimum enrolment 48 hours prior to commencement will be cancelled and you will be notified and refunded in full. EZI TO MASTER Beginners Cake Decorating Course


This comprehensive course teaches 3 different styles of decorating and you will go home with the knowledge and skills to create beautiful cakes. You will learn decorating cakes with fondant, frosting (like Wilton) elements like flower making, piping, and royal icing, 3 Dimensional sugar modelling and much, much more. If you have dreamed of learning to decorate cakes come along and join us, you wont be disappointed.

Beginner $440.00

EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS INCLUDED in this course and you will take home a basic kit plus your 3 decorated cakes. Bring an apron and tea towel to keep you clean! Notes will be provided at the end of the course. Week 1 undecorated cake is supplied and 2 undecorated cakes to be supplied by students (you will be advised well ahead of time).

EZI TO MASTER 2 Build on your skills from the first course


This is the second instalment of our incredibly popular Ez to Master 1 class. In this class you will master an elegant and sophisticated tiered cake with a twist. Building skills by learning to ice different height cakes, stacking, quilting, texturing with royal icing, and also how to make your own moulds, fantasy flowers and even a bride and groom. YOU NEED TO BRING a green craft mat, sharp knife, or scalpel, sugar-glue, modelling tools, small rolling pin and (blue) flower forming mat - all of these products can be purchased in our store on the day of your course. (basic kit) Bring an apron and tea towel to keep you clean! Notes will be provided at the end of the course for the techniques that you have learned.

WILTON COURSE 1 Cake Decorating Central is proudly Wilton Certified. This is the first in an UPDATED 3 course series. Techniques you will learn include working with buttercream icing, using decorating bags and couplers, levelling cake, different tips and their uses, drop flowers, shells, ribbon roses and much more. Decorating materials and week 1 cake is supplied. Week 2 requirements will be discussed in class.

Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your golden hair! In this class you will learn how to ice a three tier stacked cake, make authentic looking stone work, thatching, figurine modelling and working with rice crispy treats. You will surely get tangled up in this one! You will decorate 12 cupcakes using flower cutters, ribbon roses, easy roses, bonnets and embossing mats, as well as different icing mediums. You will take home your beautifully decorated cupcakes and a few new items such as flower cutters and an embossing mat. CAKE POP BABY SHOWER Cake pops make a lovely gift and are a great way to use up cake offcuts. In this fun class you will learn how to make pops, cover in melting chocolate and decorate in the theme of a baby shower.

Cake Decorating Central Course Cancellation Policy


Due to the popularity of our course schedule, this policy applies to all courses, classes, workshops and events run by Cake Decorating Central. Cancellations received with: 28 days notice of course start will incur a minimal $25.00 cancellation fee and balance of full course fees will be refunded OR Course fee may be credited to another class during the same Term. (Limited to 1 course change per student per Term) 14-28 days notice of course start will incur a 20% cancellation fee (of the full course fee) Less than 14 days notice of course start will not receive a refund of course fees paid. We are happy to provide full notes and materials used for the course (where supplied); which may include icing, colourings, cutters and tools. Written cancellations apply and should be emailed to classes@cakedecoratingcentral.com
