VERSION 333 Pneumatic 4 - 6 bars 30-40 litres 220 V / 50 Hz /single phase 1500 W 200 pairs per hour. depending on the material used 50 kgs Height 1.12 Width 0.28 Depth 0.76 March 1989 (333 - 1+12 - ) INSTALLATION 1) Connect the machine to electric current 220 V / 50 Hz. 2) Connect the machine to compressed air (pressure 6-7 bars) . ADJUSTMENTS IN THE ELECTRIC PANEL TO START THE WORK 1. Turn the general switch POWER to position 1 2. Adjust the thermostat of lower plate at minimum 120 C and maximum 200 according to type of thermoplastic toe-puffs you use. 3. Adjust the timer at about 10 seconds. 4. Let the machine be heated for 15-20 minutes. WATER TANK FILLING Turn to the right or left the revolving lid of the tank until the 4 holes are seen (water entry) .Fill the tank with distilled water. Then turn again the lid to close the tank.On the tank there are indications regarding the water level. (Green ful / Red: empty) .There is no risk if the machine works without no water. On the contrary overfilling of the tank has to be avoided. AIR EXTRACTION FROM THE WATER CIRCUIT This is achieved trough the air extractor which is situated in the front down right part of the machine. ATTENTION If from the air extractor do not go out some drops of water it means that the water pump will not work and conseqquently steam will not be produced. The air extraction has to be repeated only when the tank of the water gets completed empty. . ( 333 - 2 - ) _...__..... _-- -------- STEAM TEST Following a pre-heating period of 15-20 min. push several times the push buttom STEAM TEST .By these operations the pump starts gradually bringing up water. When the first water quantity reaches the steam boiler, steam is automatically produced. Through the white tube of teflon the steam is transported to the heating head where it will be headed again. Then, completely dry, the steam is s ~ r a y e d from the head by the white cushion. . STEAM QUANTITY ADJUSTMENT This is made by adjusting properly the water pump which is situated in the front down part of the machine. Turning it to the left the water quantity increases; turning it to the right the water quantity decreases; in case of aniline uppers there is no need of steam,so close completely the pump. OPERATION By pressing the left push button START ,the head gets down ,sprays superheated steam and softens the upper while at the same time the down heating plate activates the toe-puff.The right push button is the STOP for emmergencY.Please note that by putting a suitable micro-switch in the Last Machine the FMP 333 can receive starting signal from there and not from the lrft push button START. In such a case the cable of the micro-switch will be connected to the FMP 333 through the connector which is being hidden in the channel of cables inside the machine. For the passing of cable there is a free rubber pass in the back part of the machine. UPPER MOCASSIN TYPE In all this cases reduce the pressure UPPERS OF DELICATE COLOUR of the machine to 3 bars.At that UPPERS GLUED WITH NEOPRENE pressure internal brakes get in action UPPERS OF VARIOUS COLOURS and the head just reaches the upper without pressing it. END OF THE WORK After the end of the work bring back the switch 0-1 POWER to position O. ( 333 - 3 - ) -_..._-_._... _-_...__....._-- ------.----.... ...---...------...- .. ~ ~ MAINTENANCE 1) IMPORTANT Before any maintenance action disconnect the machine from the electric current and air. 2) Everyday empty the water of the air filter by pressing the valve on the lower part. 3) Keep always filled with oil the air lubricator. We note that with 8 hours of work per day the oil of the lubricator has to be consumpted within 20 - 25 days approximately. If this latter does not happen.adjust the flow of the oil through the adjustor on its upper part.Suitable oil to use is SHELL - Telus 37.lf this is not obtainable you can use normal oil SAE 10 -20 .
4) Once per week lubricate all moving parts of the machine. 5) Once per month you have to clean the steam boiler removing first the covers No 333166 (see page 6) 6) Replace the white cushion of the head when same is worn and dirty.
