AFMIM UK NORTHER REGION EASTER CONVENTION: 14 April 2006 J. Chindedza BORN TO CONQUER: The type that conquers 1.

Today in history Thank God we are in Danum Hotel. You might as well call this Doncaster Hotel because the two mean the same I will read the history of this place to make us see a picture of yesterday to appreciate today There were people in here who made a difference to the lives of their generation We are another generation and all I will do tonight is introduce to you the generation that was born to conquer My brothers will preach the same message over and over until it becomes part of us I will deal with identity tonight and will not be long hopefully

2. Definitions Conquer Born come into existence existing as a result of birth overcome defeat take control of surmount get the better of triumph over beat trounce prevail over overwhelm

The dominion, the last days, the fire, the peculiar, the royal generation 3. Who are these people born to conquer? - It is you are I if we are part of the following 3.1 We are created in the image of God and of the nature of God Gen 2: 7 And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. We are the type that has been given dominion (Gen 1:26-27)

AFMIM UK NORTHER REGION EASTER CONVENTION: 14 April 2006 J. Chindedza Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that {1} moveth upon the earth. {1) Or creepeth} We are the children of Abraham (by faith) Romans 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be given by grace to the end that the promise might be made sure to all the seed, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all Galatians 3:7 Know ye therefore that those who are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

3.2 We are the generation that believes God (Heb 11:6; James 1:6-7) 3.3 We are born of God not by the will of man but the will of God - 1 Peter 1:23 being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God which liveth and abideth for ever; - We are born of water and of the spirit - John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Verily, verily I say unto thee, unless a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. - We are born by the word of God - 1 Pet 1: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, by the word of God who liveth and remaineth for ever. We believe God for salvation, for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, for divine enablement in ministry and service by the Holy Spirit, for the return of the Lord as promised in the scriptures We believe in the divine cycle of faith generated by the Word focussed on the father through the Word, made alive by the Holy Spirit in the Word Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him. Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. 1 John 5:4 For whosoever is born of God overcometh the world. And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

3.4 We are children of the Living God (John 1:12-14) - John 1:12 But as many as received him, he gave them power to be made the sons of God, to them that believe in his name. - 13 Who are born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. - We are children of God (Rom 8:16) - Rom 8:16 For the Spirit himself giveth testimony to our spirit that we are the sons of God. - 17 And if sons, heirs also; heirs indeed of God and joint heirs with Christ: yet so, if we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him. - Christ died and conquered death so that we could be born unaffected by death as a consequence of sin - 1 Corr 15:1 Now I would remind you, brethren, in what terms I preached to you the gospel, which you received, in which you stand, - 2 by which you are saved, if you hold it fastunless you believed in vain. - 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures, - 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures, 3.5 We are those who will not die (John 3:16; 1 Corr 15:50-58) - John 3:16 For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son: that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting. - 1 Corr 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot possess the kingdom of God: neither shall corruption possess incorruption. - 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall all indeed rise again: but we shall not all be changed. - 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall rise again incorruptible. And we shall be changed. - 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption: and this mortal must put on immortality. - 54 And when this mortal hath put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. - 55 O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? - 56 Now the sting of death is sin: and the power of sin is the law. - 57 But thanks be to God, who hath given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. - 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast and unmoveable: always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. - We are very conscious that with the work done on calvary finished we will never experience the original meaning of death as a consequence of sin because the poison of death and sin was detoxified on the cross

AFMIM UK NORTHER REGION EASTER CONVENTION: 14 April 2006 J. Chindedza Col 2: 13 And you, who were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 having canceled the bond which stood against us with its legal demands; this he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in him.

3.6 We are the territory taking type (Go ye therefore Mark 16:15 and Matt 28:19) - Mark 16:15 And he said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover." - Matt 28: 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age." - Acts 1: 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth." - Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel: it is the power of God for salvation to every one who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, "He who through faith is righteous shall live." - We are territory takers for God - The Romans took England from AD 71 to around AD 407 and left all their influence and we also need to live our Godly influence - We live the thy kingdom come, thy will be done influence and we spread it world over in all areas of life 3.7 We are the generation of the last days (Joel 2:28) - Joel 2:28 "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. - 29 Even upon the menservants and maidservants in those days, I will pour out my spirit. - Acts 2:15 For these men are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day; - 16 but this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

AFMIM UK NORTHER REGION EASTER CONVENTION: 14 April 2006 J. Chindedza 17 And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; 18 yea, and on my menservants and my maidservants in those days I will pour out my Spirit; and they shall prophesy. 19 And I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth beneath, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; 20 the sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and manifest day. 21 And it shall be that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. In our time the mystery of the gospel has been revealed and the promises of the harvest time are ours The glorious and grand appearance of Christ in the clouds is also our privilege, though the dead will participate first we will join them in the air

3.8 We are the generation of the fire of God (Matt 3 and Acts 2:28) - Matt 3:11 I indeed baptize you {1} in water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not {2} worthy to bear: he shall baptize you {1} in the Holy Spirit and in fire: {1) Or with 2) Gr sufficient} 12 whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing-floor; and he will gather his wheat into the garner, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire. - Acts 2: 3 And there appeared to them parted tongues, as it were of fire: and it sat upon every one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost: and they began to speak with divers tongues, according as the Holy Ghost gave them to speak. - God has always desired that his servants be flaming fire - I believe that is the reason Elijah demanded a God that answers with fire - 1 King 18: 24 And call ye on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of Jehovah; and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken. - It is probably the reason why most of Elijahs conflicts were resolved by burning people with fire as proofed that he was a prophet of time - In our time the genuine conquering generation will be a people of fire 3.9 We are the generation of sophisticated military abilities - 2 Corr 10: 3 For though walking about in flesh, we do not war according to flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, 5 pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ;

AFMIM UK NORTHER REGION EASTER CONVENTION: 14 April 2006 J. Chindedza 6 and having readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. 2 Corr 10: 3 For though we live in the world we are not carrying on a worldly war, 4 for the weapons of our warfare are not worldly but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every proud obstacle to the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, 6 being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. - Faced with resistance and adversity from all sides in our faith we still overcome through prayer, through faith in the Living God 2 Corr 4: 6 For it is the God who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, to show that the transcendent power belongs to God and not to us. 8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. - By the anointing of the Holy Spirit we have the ammunition of Eph 6:10-18, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness to spread the gospel, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit the Word of God - We can penetrate any enemy territory and destroy - Ask the Syrians and they will tell you that having a prophet in Israel paralysed all military strategy - In our time let the devil feel the Syrian feeling of confusion 3.10 We are the generation of overcomers (Rom 8:37) No matter what the enemy throws at us, success or failure we still beat him at his game God has prepared us to be overcomers in all cases Rom 8: 34 who is to condemn? Is it Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us? 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, "For thy sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered." 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

AFMIM UK NORTHER REGION EASTER CONVENTION: 14 April 2006 J. Chindedza 4. Conclusion Finally brothers and sisters, now that you know who you are I want us to do the following: (1) Repent of our sin and be in right standing with the father (2) Commit ourselves to the continuation of this message tomorrow that the Lord may transform us by his Word (3) Start discovering yourself by practising what the word of God said you are and can do (4) Finally let us thank God for making us the last days generation, the power generation, the fire generation and the generation of the mystery of the gospel.
