Eligibility
Masters Degree with not less than 55% of marks in the relevant or related subjects from recognized University B.E / B.Tech in Aeronautical / Aerospace / Mechanical / Civil / Electrical, AM AeSI / AMIE in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical with not less than 50% in aggregate with GATE / PG (CET) score

ABOUT IIAEM
IIAEM is a collaborative venture between Jain University and Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies & Industries, an initiative never attempted by regular U n i ve rs i t i e s , w h i c h h a s re c e i ve d overwhelming support from academic institutions, R & D laboratories and Industrial organizations like ISRO, HAL, AAI, NAL, Air India, BIAL, CIAL and many others. Besides involving itself in cutting edge research, the Institute will generate a pool of technical manpower skilled in Aircraft Design, Avionics, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering , Airport Infrastructure & Management both at the under graduate, postgraduate and research levels. The curriculum has been vetted by experts from industry and academia. IIAEM is committed and has already invested considerable effort and money. Within the next few years, the IIAEM will develop into a world-class institution for aerospace research and education.

The formation of the SIATI was the initiative of Dr. C.G. Krishnadas Nair, former chairman, HAL. Today, SIATI has about 300 small / medium scale industries as its members enjoy the patronage of leading aerospace organizations including R&D in the country. The objectives of SIATI include stimulating Education, Training, Research Technology and Business Development in the field of Aerospace and associated industries, academic interactions both within India and with overseas organizations and encouraging collaborations in Technology tie ups, Training, Education and Business Development through joint ventures.

M.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering (Aerodynamics / Aerospace Structures / Manufacturing & Management) M.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering (Avionics)

The curriculum includes design and manufacturing of aircraft and spacecraft including launch vehicles, advances in materials and manufacturing technologies, concurrent engineering, computerized software tools

2 years (4 semesters)

Based on the entrance examination and interview performance

The curriculum includes topics in Avionics: Display, navigation, communication system of an aircraft

B.E / B.Tech in Electronics / Mechatronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Computer Science Telecommunication with not less than 50% in aggregate with GATE / PG (CET) score

2 years (4 semesters)

OBJECTIVES
To provide instruction and training in w specialized areas of Aerospace Engineering and Management To provide for research and for the w advancement of and dissemination of knowledge To undertake studies on the impact of w Aerospace Technologies on National development particularly rural development, connectivity and International Business To do all w such other acts and things as may be necessary or desirable to further the objectives (as indicated above) of the Institute

M.Tech. in Airport Infrastructure Design & Construction Management

The curriculum includes design & construction management of Airport infrastructure including electrical & fire safety and protection of assets

B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil with not less than 50% in aggregate with GATE / PG (CET) score

2 years (4 semesters)

Based on the entrance examination and interview performance

MS (Engineering) (AerospaceStructures / Aerodynamics / Propulsion / Avionics / Manufacturing & Management)

The programme is designed for executives working in Engineering Industry and R&D establishments

Graduate with 60% in aggregate. Must be in service in relevant area for a min. period of two years and shall be sponsored by their respective organizations

B.E. in Aerospace Engineering

The programme is designed taking into account the basic principles in Aircraft, Helicopters, Satellites & other space vehicles

Pass in (10+2) or equivalent course recognized by State or Central board and secured minimum marks as prescribed by State Government

4 years (8 semesters)

Based on merit in the qualifying examination

The curriculum includes requirements of AAI, on Air Traffic Services, Aerodromes and Ground Aids, Air Legislation, Meteorology, Communication Procedures, Technical, Search and Rescue and Air Navigation

B.E / B.Tech degree in Electronics / Telecommunications / Radio Engineering / Electrical or Masters degree in Electronics Engineering or its equivalent of a recognized university with first class
