Jose Rizal was born on Wednesdays, June 19, 1861 between eleven and twelve o clock at midnight, a few

days before the full moon at Calamba, Laguna. His birth would have cost his mothers life had she not vowed to the virgin of Antipolo that Would take him on a pilgrimage of her shrine. He was baptized at Catholic Church of Calamba, laguna , on june 22 when he was three days old , by a priest rev. rufino collantes, a close friend of his family who also stood as his god father , the name Jose was chosen by his mother who was devotee of his Christian Saint San Jose ( St. Joseph). It should be noted that during the baptismal ceremony , Father Collates was impressed by the babys big head , he politely told the members of the family who were present to take good care of his child ,for someday he will become a great man his word proved prophetic an later explicitly confirmed by subsequent events. Endowed with superior intelligence, indeed, he can be considered a rare universal genius. As a versatile man, he was a physician (ophthalmic surgeon), mathematician, engineer, surveyor, poet, musician, sculpture, painter cartoonist, cartographer, novelist, dramatist, inventor, philosopher, linguist, businessman, economist and farmer. As the result of Rizal heroism.\ Our Filipino awake and they realized whats going on! We need to defend our own country over the colonizer! The Spaniards! Wake up Filipino people! When Rizal say one who wants to help himself should help himself should help others, because if he neglected others, he too will be neglected by them. One mid-rib burin palm is easy to break, but not bundle of many ribs tied together.

Because, Rizal has contributed much to our country without shedding any blood. Unlike the other heroes we had, Rizal fought the invaders not by harsh means but in a way that he can easily seep through the soul of the Filipinos as well as the Spanish. Rizal proved that the pen is mightier than the sword. he did not invoke the revolution thru bloody means. He awakened the Filipinos' fighting heart thru books and stories he made. He was very genius and kind but very dangerous in the hand of the Spaniards because of his way of fighting. He was not afraid of his life even though the Spaniards warned him.

It seems he was very quiet and very concern in the life of other even he was educated man he did not spend his time by his own but in others, Both Filipinos and Foreigners acclaimed Rizal as the foremost leaders of his people. Rizal was the greatest Filipino hero that ever lived because he was the most intelligent, most courageous, and most dangerous enemy of the reactionaries and the tyrants; and the main reason why Rizal is our greatest Filipino hero is that he is a man that honored after death by public worship because of the exceptional service to mankind. Rizals leadership was recognized by his countrymen here and abroad, he because as honorary president of the La Solidaridad, he organized and became chief of the Indios Bravos, he was chosen as responsible (chief) of the Spanish Filipino Association and Rizal was the founder and moving spirit in the of the Liga Filipina in Manila on July 3, 1892. His memory will never perish in his fatherland, and future generations of Spaniards will yet learn to utter his name with respect and reverence. And most of all no one of our Philippine heroes can stand straight, relax when he was shot. He was not afraid on his death! That is the quality being greatest hero,
