All welcome. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: Five children will be formally enrolled in the programme during the 9.30am Mass today. Please keep the children and Catechists in your prayers. BAPTISM: We welcome into the family of the Church Ellis James Johnston, who will be Baptised at 12 noon today. HOSPICE: The Draw for the Christmas Cakes, in aid of the Hospice, will take place today at the end of 9.30am Mass. Tickets will be on sale again before the draw takes place. PLEASE NOTE: Mass this Tues is earlier, at 5.15 pm. This is because there is a Deanery Conference in St. Annes at 6pm. (1 hr), Tel 735746 for details. RECONCILIATION SERVICE: on Tues 20 Dec at 7.00pm, part of our spiritual preparation for Christmas. Several priests available for Confession. (Mass beforehand at 6.15pm.) CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS: If you would like to help decorate the church for Christmas, please sign the sheet at the back of church. YOUTH CLUB There will be no Youth Club this Thursday due to the Carol Service at St Peters School. It will restart on Thursday th 12 January 7 pm in the Hall. See you then! CAROLS AT KIRKHAM PRISON: Last year several parishioners supported this service, which was much appreciated as part of nd our outreach. This year its on Thursday 22 Dec at 7.00pm. (refreshments from 6.15.pm.) If possible give names by next Sunday to Paul Kelly (735746) or Fr. John. Bring along photo ID & leave mobile phones in vehicles on the Visitors Car Park. Go in by the main gatehouse; the service is in an adjacent room. OUR DEANERY: The number of active clergy has been reduced by two recently (no priest for Wesham & no assistant priest at Our Ladys in St. Annes). The result is four fewer Sunday Masses in the deanery. There are no longer Vigil Masses at Our Ladys and Wesham. The 8.30 am at Freckleton, and the Sunday evening Mass in Kirkham have ceased. Holy Family, Freckleton is now linked with Westby. The Willows, Kirkham, previously serving Westby, is now linked with Wesham.
