1. Lubrificar O-Ring. Regular a conexo na direo desejada e apertar a porca manualmente.

2. Apertar a porca em 1/2 volta alm do ponto perceptvel de aumento de fora. Para isso
segurar o corpo da conexo com uma chave de boca.
Ateno!
A aplicao de um nmero divergente de voltas para aperto
reduz a potncia para presso nominal e a durabilidade das conexes
o que causa vazamentos ou outros motivos de falha.
1. Oil O-ring. Set the tube connection to the desired direction and tighten the nut by hand.
2. Tighten the nut 1/3 a turn beyond the point of a noticeable increase in force. Hold the fitting body firmly by
means of a spanner.
Attention!
Application of deviating numbers of tightening turns reduces the nominal pressure rating and the life of the
fitting which causes leakages or other reasons of failure.

1. Lubrificar a rosca e o O-Ring do parafuso

2 Inserir o parafuso na carcaa orientvel ( no lado
do pequeno rebaixo).
3. Colocar o anel com borda vedante ou com vedao
mole no rebaixo grande da carcaa.
Centralizao atravs da rosca do parafuso.
Anis de vedao mole so centralizados
adicionalmente atravs do rebaixo na carcaa (no
permitido nenhum jogo entre anel de vedao e
carcaa; para as roscas M 10x1, R 1/8, R 1/4 e M
14x1,5, serve apenas o dimetro menor do anel de
vedao no rebaixo da carcaa, nas medidas restantes
o maior).
4. Alinhar o corpo orientvel e o parafuso oco com a
chave de fenda at o ponto de aumento perceptvel de
torque (ponto de presso)
5.1 Com anel de vedao mole: Apertar o parafuso com
a chave de fenda em 1/6 de volta (60) alm do ponto
de presso segurando a carcaa.
5.2 Com anel de borda vedante: Apertar o parafuso com
a chave e fenda em 1/4 alm do ponto de presso (90).
Com isso a conexo est fixada e vedada. Torque de
montagem sob encomenda.
Ateno:
Na verso de vedao mole curso de aperto mais curto e
torque menor que em conexes orientveis com borda
vedante.
6. Remontagens so possveis. Verificar os danos no
O-Ring e na vedao mole, se necessrio substitu-los.
Ateno:
A aplicao de um nmero divergente de voltas para
aperto reduz a potncia para presso nominal e a
durabilidade das conexes o que causa vazamentos e o
deslocamento da conexo.

1. Oil port thread and O-ring of bolt.

2. Insert bolt into banjo body (on the side with the small
counterbore).
3. Place sealing edge ring or captive sealing ring into
the large counterbore of the body. Centering through the
bolt thread. Captive sealing rings are additionally centered
through the counterbore in the body (clearance between
ring and body not permissible; with threads M 10x1, R1/8,
R 1/4 and M 14x1.5, only the small diameter of the captive
sealing ring fits into the counterbore of the body, whereas
for all other threads the large diameter matches the
counterbore).
4. Align banjo body and tighten bolt with spanner until a
noticeable increase in torque is required (point of
resistance).
5.1 With captive sealing ring:
Tighten bolt with spanner by 1/6 of a turn (60) beyond the
point of resistance while holding the body in
position.
5.2 With sealing edge ring:
Tighten bolt with spanner by 1/4 of a turn (90) beyond the
point of resistance while holding the body in position. The
fitting is thus fixed and sealed. Assembly torques upon
request.
Caution:
For the version with captive seal, the tightening travel
is shorter and the tightening torque lower than for the banjo
fitting with sealing edge ring.
6. Repeated reassembly is possible. Check O-ring and captive seal for any damage and replace if necessary.
Caution:
Deviating numbers of tightening turns cause a
reduction in nominal pressure and service life. This
results in leakages or other causes of failure.

As presses de operao previamente fornecidas (PB) so baseadas no fator de segurana de no

mnimo 2.5 e representam a presso de operao mxima permitida para condies de carga
essencialmente esttica e temperaturas de at 120C (para ao).
Consideraes especiais devem ser feitas para condies de operao envolvendo altos golpes de
presso e esforo mecnico como vibraes.
The operating pressures (PB) as shown are based on a safety factor of at least 2.5 and represent the
maximum operating pressure permitted with primarily uniform load conditions at temperatures up to
+ 120C (for steel).
Allowances must be made for working conditions involving heavy impact pressure and mechanical strain,
such as vibrations.
