Setting up auto reply Agent in lotus notes:


You need to create and Auto reply agent. 1. Goto Create ->Agent 2. In the properties box, enter any name for the agent and select " After Mail Arrives" in the first drop down in runtime section. 3. Close the properties box and click on Add action button at the bottom of the window. 4. Select Reply to Send from the Action drop down menu..type ur message...save the agent....and exit (This has to done on the server copy of the mail database and not on the local copy....otherwise response would be sent after certian delay...) MISSION Accomplished..... am trying to put a auto reply for my users lotus domino 6.5 client , I have followed the below : 1. Goto Create ->Agent 2. In the properties box, enter any name for the agent and select " After Mail Arrives" in the first drop down in runtime section. 3. Select Reply to Send from the Action drop down menu..type message...save the agent....and exit - Here i would like to add an Image in a reply message - Any possibility ??
I'm sure you must've figured this out by now or given up judging by the response you've had! But... Up the users access to designer via the ACL in Administrator. Sign in using the users ID. Open the users mail file in Desinger. Agents\New\Agent On event: After new mail has arrived Then change to 'simple actions' at the top. Add action: Reply to sender Input the text and tick the approprioate boxes. DONE.
