We Believe.....

We Believe.....

We Believe.....

When curriculum is relevant and applicable to the world beyond school, students exercise critical academic and Learner Quality skills, learn global curriculum, and create real products for authentic purposes making a difference in their world today.

When social and emotional connections are made, students develop divergent thinking, empathize with others, and express themselves in authentic ways.

When there is a culture of creativity and innovation, students own their learning, apply higher-level thinking skills, create novel solutions, and are motivated to share their knowledge and products.

To do my senior project I had to put some of my background knowledge to work. I had to think out side the box because I had to consider that my senior had gone through a stroke so my group and me had to be patient because my senior buddy couldnt remember many of her life experiences

The After....

We needed to communicate with our partner in the interview because we needed a lot of information to make this project work. We needed to ask question after question being nice to the senior.

My connection is that I had created a digital story before. But this project of the senior movie was really important because I had to have in mind that I was creating a story about a persons life. Also that the movie I was creating was going to go to her family and It was This project helped me on listening because going to be passed through the generation. when we went to interview the senior we had to listen carefully to understand and hear what they were saying, because they cant speak that loud and clear anymore. Its an authentic project because it tells the story of someones life. Theyre telling about the lives they experience when they were a child and into an adult.
