GENERAL REQUIREMENTS for Erection

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORKS


The Subcontractor shall perform all works in connection with the assembly and installation of supplied equipment according to Tender Specification, including the necessary works according to Hyosung's drawings and instructions. It generally comprises taking over the material from forwarder/supplier, storing , material/equipment handling within site area, complete erection of indoor and outdoor equipment, cable installation and termination, touchup painting, equipment & site cleaning/waste disposal etc. as stipulated in the relevant documents and drawings. However, unless otherwise mentioned, all consumable materials including wiring accessories, welding material, anchor bolts for installation of equipment conduit pipes for cabling in-between or between equipment and trench or cable trays and terminal lug for grounding etc. shall be provided by Subcontractor at his own expenses. The subcontractor shall perform remove the equipment from storage place to installation point, including unloading & unpacking of all equipment/materials. All the civil works shall be done by others. The Subcontractor shall be cooperate with civil contractor in every respect and in case that some minor modification is required, it shall be carried out by subcontractor at his own expenses. The other necessary works in completion the contract scope with Purchaser shall be followed the Tender Price Schedule and Bill of Material. STORE-KEEPING, SECURITY AND PROTECTION Adequate storage space shall be provided at the site by Hyosung, however Subcontractor shall, at his own cost, provide store building and fences around the storage area, if necessary. The Subcontractor is required to employ a sufficient number of watchmen and is responsible for guarding and maintenance of security on and about site until the completion date of contract. SUBCONTRACTOR'S EQUIPMENT The Subcontractor shall provide, at his own expenses, all erection /installation /assembly technicians, labors, tools, lifting devices, lorries, cranes, safety equipment and indirect & consumable materials, temporary bracing & scaffolding required for the completion of his works. (All necessary rent charge shall be paid by the Subcontractor, if any.)

A sufficient supply of water, compressed air, gas, electricity, telephone facilities and temporary lighting needed by Subcontractor and Hyosung on or about the site during the contract period shall be provided by the Subcontractor including usage bills. The Subcontractor shall provide site office comprising all necessary office facilities for his personnel and Hyosung's representative. The site office shall be maintained until the completion date of contract. INSURANCE The Subcontractor shall furnish all necessary insurance in acc. with the requirements of the Laws prevailing in the Country to cover his own personnel. The Subcontractor shall also furnish separate insurance policies to ensure that all temporary workers employed by him who may not be covered by Social Security of the State Authorities of the Country are also adequately covered.

For the due execution and proper performance of the works to be performed under this subcontract, the Subcontractor shall submit to Hyosung a performance guarantee of an amount of 10% of the subcontract value. (within one month after this subcontract comes into force.)

PRICE QUOTATION Notwithstanding that any details, descriptions, etc. required for the complete installation/assembly of the plant/ equipment specified in the Tender Price Schedule and Bill of Material are not specifically mentioned in Subcontractor's quotation, such minor cost is to be considered as included in the quoted price, unless otherwise specified.

In addition to submission of Price Schedule after duly filling-in his best and competitive price, the Subcontractor shall furnish the following documents ; (A subcontractor's failure to submit any of the document listed in the below may influence the course of the Evaluation.) - a Quotation for unit rate basis - a Quotation for Measured works - completely filled-in Check Sheet for Scope of Works.

150kv GIS EQUIPMENT Assembly of all components and docking including gas bushing, bus duct & its supports. Leveling with wedge, anchoring by bolt or welding. Change of ZEOLITE, piping works for gas & air line. Vacuuming, charging and evacuating (de-gassing) of SF6 Gas during assembly/erection and testing of GIS, inspection of internal assembly & supporting the test & commissioning. The above works may be repeated several times, if necessary. Spray finishing paint for whole equipment, grounding, sealing works for weatherproof. Holding of gland plate and cable duct, painting and/or tinning of earthing bond. Cable-head works (dis-assembling, re-assembling, gassing, de-gassing) for HV cable sealing end works. The Subcontractor shall provide necessary manpower, tools and equipment. POWER TRANSFORMER/AUTO TRANSFORMER For Transformer installation and assembly, the filtering/vacuuming machine, electric power supply, tools for installation & assembly, and ancillaries shall be provided by Subcontractor. In addition to above, the Subcontractor shall also install neutral CT with supporting structure on or beside Transformer. NCT connection, grounding of NCT & Transformer, cable termination for MV side cable shall also be done by Subcontractor. PANEL, CUBICLE AND SWITCHBOARD Installation & assembly of the equipment including connection between equipment. Supply and install all necessary anchor bolt. Termination works in-between or between equipment.

10, STEEL STRUCTURE & BUSBAR CONDUCTOR


1) 2) Assembly of all steel structure such as gantry post, beam, earth mast, supporting structure for outdoor equipment and power cable. Installation of all overhead earth wire and busbar conductor for slack span & between equipment & line to equipment, together with connection and termination.

11, OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT SUCH AS CVT, LA, ETC.

Supply and installation of conduit pipe between equipment/fixture and trench or cable tray shall be provided by Subcontractor, at his own expenses.

12, BATTERY
1) 2) Installation of battery & battery rack and inter-cell connection shall be done by Subcontractor. The Subcontractor shall provide the distilled water, mixing the electrolyte and fixing to battery electrolyte. Initial charging of batteries and numbering of cells & bank shall be provided by the Subcontractor.

13, HV & MV CABLE AND LV AUXILIARY & CONTROL CABLE


1) 2) Installation, laying, connection, termination, marking and fixing for all equipment shall be done by Subcontractor. Installation of cable gland, hole opening of cable gland plate, supply & install of cable marker, cable tie & numbering ferrules shall be done by Subcontractor.

14, EARTHING
1) 2) 3) The Earthing works, the main & branch earthing conductor and design/ construction drawings will be provided by Hyosung. Supply of all consumable materials including welding materials, non-ferrous clamps and installation and connection of all earthing conductor shall be done by the Subcontractor. Black painting & tinning the outside grounding copper tapes acc. to Purchaser standard shall be included in the scope of work.

15, LIGHTING SYSTEM


1) 2) 3) The building fence lighting shall be done by others. The lighting material (lighting fixture, lamp bulb & sun switch only) shall be provided by Hyosung. The Subcontractor shall install of all necessary lighting material for complete lighting system at switchyard or on steel structure or specific points as per Tender schedule.

16, TEST AND COMMISSIONING


Test and Commissioning will be carried out by Hyosung and other subcontractor. The subcontractor shall provide all necessary tools, man-power including engineer, technician, labor to assist the abovesaid test & commissioning at site.

17, SUBCONTRACTOR'S EXPERIENCE


The Subcontractor who wants to get the order from Hyosung shall have experiences the following works as minimum ; : Installation and project management of at least 3(three) substations of rating not less than 275kv and 132kv class and the substations must have been in operation for at least 1(one) year. The copies of each aforesaid contract certified/verified subcontractor's experience shall be submitted with the quotation.
