Chemical Resistance Chart - PFA

Note: The chemical resistance of any polymer is defined largely by the chemical structure of the material and the strength of the weakest link in this structure. PFA was developed to increase the continuous service temperature of FEP resin. Melt processablility allows PFA to be processed in longer continuous lengths than PTFE. For more information concerning PFA click here. The information in the Zeus eNewsletter, website, catalog, and other sources present and discuss generally accepted properties for nonpigmented virgin polymer resins from which ZEUS fabricates its line of extruded products. Actual properties may change due to processing method, resin grade, extruded dimensions, and other variables. It is the end user's responsibility to fully evaluate and test the fitness of the product for their specific application. Additional technical support is available by contacting a Zeus technical account manager at: (toll free) 1800-526-3842 or 1-803-268-9500.
