The new version is 5.33.54.24, is backwards compatible on older VLS, PLS, and ILS systems. A CD with the newest version will be supplied with all machines shipping after Aug 15 2011 Before installing the new software the old software version needs to be un-installed Software Fixes and enhancements 5.33.54.24 Corrections for Versions 5.31.54.5 Enhancements 1. Added support for Chinese, Korean, and Russian languages. 2. Added a print direction control to materials page in print properties GUI. 3. Print properties GUI, material editor: Update fiber-mode controls so that default frequency automatically displays when wave is selected. Raster enhancements were incorrect in certain materials in database. Fixed in 5.31.54.11 Job estimator was giving incorrect times for superspeed raster jobs. Fixed in 5.31.54.11. HPDFO lens wasnt calibrating on the PLS6MW with Fiber laser. Fixed in 5.32.54.14. Center Image feature in Printer Settings wasnt always working with Rotary, Fixed in 5.32.54.14. Jobs run on engraver with no laser installed would always run at 0.1% speed when it should be remembering and using last laser installed to calculate settings. Fixed 5.31.54.14. Rotary Diameter edit box in Manual printer settings didnt display unit type (inches or mm). Added in 5.32.54.14. Printer warning message (Document contains no rast/vect data) not appearing in x64 Windows. Fixed in 5.32.54.14. Invalid speeds (e.g., 107%) showing up for certain materials. Fixed 5.32.54.14. Reviewed and improved the VLS Cutting parameters in the database where necessary. Fixed in 5.32.54.14. Fixed issue where preview screen locked up with certain versions of NVIDIA video card drivers. Added 5.32.54.14. Estimator enhanced to handle all pages of multi-page documents. Fixed in 5.32.54.15. Resolved problem for certain materials in cut power algorithm, which was giving the wrong power for the thickness less than or equal the shallow cut depth in database. Fixed in 5.32.54.15. Fixed ULSGUI material editor so fiber-related power settings would read correctly. Fixed in 5.32.54.15. In advanced page on ULSGUI, resolved field size display settings which where erroneously displaying default values even after being changed. Fixed in 5.32.54.15. Changed UCP to recognize firmware HPDFO lens ID on ILS. Fixed 5.32.54.15. Resolved UCP engraved counts error in rare occurrences, this prevented the program from continuing after color change. Fixed in 5.32.54.19. Improved UCP AF routines accuracy in 5.32.54.19. Added an error detection if the Laser is in class 4 mode and wont operate to help diagnose false laser failures in the field. Fixed 5.32.54.19.

23. The Job Estimator in 5.33.54.19 wasnt working with all Materials jobs. Corrected in 5.33.54.20. 24. Corrected a problem in which the client was unable to update Cell install versions. Corrected in 5.33.54.23. 25. Firmware was changed to increase the time for both the Z ramp down and USB inactivity watchdog. ( 5.33.54.23.) 26. Corrected velocity <0.5% problem; for some jobs the engraver erroneously signaled a pause error. Corrected in 5.33.54.24. 27. Fixed problem in which erroneous power and speed values were corrupted when adjusting material-database settings and saving the result from the materials page. Corrected in 5.33.54.24.
