Snowboarding Championship 2004 To Install Snowboarding Championship 2004: 1. Turn the computer on and start Windows 98/ME/XP.

Close any other progra ms that you are running. 2. Place the Snowboarding Championship 2004 CD in the CD-ROM drive and wait a few seconds for the install screen to appear. 3. Follow the on screen instructions when they appear. Note: If the autorun feature is disabled or does not work properly, plea se follow one of the manual methods below. Manual Installation Method One: 1. Turn the computer on and start Windows 98/ME/XP. Close any other progra ms that you are running. 2. Place the Snowboarding Championship 2004 CD in the CD-ROM drive. 3. Click on [Start] and then click on [Run]. 4. Type the letter of your CD-ROM drive (usually "D") followed by a (:) and the word Launch. Then Click the [OK] button. (Example D:Launch) 5. The install screen will appear. Follow the on- screen instructions to be gin the installation. Manual Installation Method Two: 1. Turn the computer on and start Windows 98/ME/XP. Close any other progra ms that you are running. 2. Place the Snowboarding Championship 2004 CD in the CD-ROM drive. 3. Double-click on the [My Computer] icon from your desktop. 4. Double-click on the CD-ROM icon labeled [Snowboard]. 5. Double Click on the [Launch] icon. 6. The install screen will appear. Follow the on-screen instructions to be gin the installation. Getting Started after Installation: 1. Place the Snowboard 2004 CD in the CD-ROM drive. 2. Click on [Start], then select [Programs]. Select Activision Value/Snowboarding Championship 2004 /Play Snowboarding Champi onship 2004 to start the game. Snowboard Championship, is a game designed to focus on the speed of the user tra veling down the mountain (while pulling off some outrageous tricks.) In this game you will be able to on of two modes of ga meplay: choose a career mode where you will have the opportunity to unlock multiple challenges such as "bone crusher" or "snowball fight" or you may choose thrash mode where you will have the opportunity to travel down the mountain at high speeds while gaining bonus points for picking up 3 sno wflakes in a row that are the same color. Keep in mind that while in thrash mode, the more rare that the snowflakes are, the more points they will be worth. Depending upon the number of points you achieve through the snowflake and trick points you will have the opportunity to unlock new challenge s within career mode.

Controls BASIC MOVEMENT: On the ground, use the LEFT and RIGHT ARROWS to turn, the UP ARROW to tuck for more speed, and the DOWN ARROW to slow down. In the air, use the arrow keys to do spins and flips. Hold the CTRL key to crouch, and release the crouch to jump. The longer you hold crouch, the higher you will jump. TRICKS: To do a trick while in the air, tap a sequence of ARROW KEYS, then press CTRL to initiate the trick. Your boarder will hold the trick as long as you hold CTRL, but be sure to let go with enough time before you land. You can also queue up air tricks by entering more trick sequences while a trick is already in progress. To see a list of trick keys, press F1 while snowboarding. To do a slide tricks, hold Z as you approach a ledge or rail. Different types of slides are available by jumping, and while in the air, tapping an ARROW KEY then holding Z. In order to view a complete list of tricks, press F1 and a trick list will appea r on-screen. OTHER COMMANDS: ESCAPE -- Exit out of a challenge or special camera view TAB -- Change the camera following distance, by cycling though the available distances NUMPAD ZERO -- To get a special rotating camera effect SPACE -- Throw a snowball BACKSPACE -- Reset to center of run
