1. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our company IVCC ENGINEERING (PVT) LIMITED for your consideration. We will be happy to undertake your upcoming projects based on our vast experience. Background 2. IVCC Engineering (Pvt) Limited was incorporated in Pakistan on 04 August 1958 with the intention of filling the large void in the specialist civil engineering construction field which till then was serviced by expatriate European and American contractors. Through a series of joint undertakings with highly experienced international contractors such as Geotechnica Ltd., and Cementation Company Ltd. IVCC gained a great deal of experience and developed a large inventory of equipment to undertake a diverse range of contracts. Starting in a modest way with contracts at Tarbela and Mangla Dams and the subsequent Indus Basin development works, it soon established itself as the contractor of choice particularly in areas requiring innovative construction solutions, difficult and complex logistics coupled with rigid time deadlines. Its staff and management, largely drawn from the Pakistan Army Corps of Engineers, bring to their work a high degree of skill in improvisation and a determination to succeed against the heaviest odds. IVCC has worked in close collaboration with Bachy Soletanche of France (BSL) for the last 15 years. BSL are the largest specialist civil and piling contractor in the world, with annual turnover exceeding US $ 6 billion. IVCC and BSL have collaborated (in joint venture) on the LahoreIslamabad Motorway Project and the Chashma Hydropower Project. In addition to working together IVCC and BSL have a standing relationship whereby they have access to each others resources and expertise. IVCCs Quality Management Systems have been assessed by Moody International Certification Ltd. and registered against the quality assurance standards ISO 9001:2000 having scope of registration SPECIALIZED CIVIL CONSTRUCTION. IVCCs Quality Management Systems are compliant with the UKAS Quality Management and Pakistan National Accreditation Council (PNAC). The board of Governors of Moody International (Pvt) Ltd., has approved the award of ISO 9001:2000 to IVCC Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. 6. We own and operate all essential plant and equipment, which is constantly updated (please refer to our brochure "List of Major Items of Plant and Equipment" enclosed). We have our own depot, machine shop, engine shop and workshop. These shops are equipped with facilities for turning (lathes), shaping (shapers), drilling (drill machines), cutting, forging, welding, pipe rolling and engine repair / overhauling. By having our own facilities we are able to provide immediate and timely support to back up our operations in the field. 7. We are presently prequalified/registered as Class "A" (No Limit) Contractors for Civil Works with WAPDA. We are also enlisted with Government of Baluchistan, Gwadar Development Authority as (C-A No Limited) Contractor. In addition, we are enlisted/prequalified with most of the important Government Agencies like MES, Ministry of Defence, Irrigation and Power Department, Pakistan National Highway Authority, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Pakistan Steel Mills, POF, FATA Development Corporation, etc. We are on the approved list of Consultants with E-in-Cs Branch, GHQ Rawalpindi and are also registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council for engineering works. 8.
