PARISH COUNCIL MEETING today at 11am in the Hall. All welcome ADVENT TAIZ SERVICE this Friday in church at 7.30pm. If you would like to practice the various Taiz chants, please come half an hour before, at 7pm. This is a prayerful and reflective time. It would be lovely to have many people present, giving praise to God and supporting each other in prayer this Advent, as we prepare for the coming of Our Lord among us. Walk with Me booklets for Advent, priced 1 WEDNESDAY WORD available at the back of church to help prepare for the next Sundays readings. PARISH CHRISTMAS CARDS listing the times of our Christmas Masses are now available. Please take one and any others that you could pass on to family, friends and neighbours to encourage them. Please spread the word! FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: Five children will be formally enrolled in the programme during the 9.30am Mass next Sunday. Please keep the children and Catechists in your prayers. MANY THANKS to CAFOD, the Diocesan Faith & Justice Commission, St Bedes High School and our local Catholic Primary Schools, for celebrating with us the wonderful Advent Service last Thursday it was much appreciated. STELLA MATUTINA, Clifton Drive, will be holding a Christmas th Fair this Tuesday 6 December at 2.00pm. Please see poster. The Sisters and residents will be pleased to see you. HOSPICE: The draw for the Christmas Cakes, in aid of the th Hospice, will take place on Sunday 11 December at the end of the 9.30am Mass. Tickets will be on sale again this weekend. Chaplain, otherwise a visit cannot be guaranteed. These days, due to data protection legislation, we cannot guarantee that names of Catholics will be passed on to the Chaplain unless consent is given.
