We (a team of 6) started the task by drawing mood boards for various vents in alcheringa. We brainstormed and found out colours, objects and moods to depict each module. I mainly contributed to brainstorming, Idea conceptualization, Moodboards and storyboarding.

About
DoD as a design institute stands apart due to the benet of being in an IIT. We wanted to show the impact DoD holds in the eld of design. So we started by brainstorming the philosophy of DoD and then experimenting with type and colour. The assignment gave us a nice medium to explore small details and basic elements.

We (a team of 2) started by studying about electronica and its listeners. As music is a vibrant and loud eld so we decided to go for a graphic identity which could later be used alone without the text. The graphic represent the 3 dierent kinds of people in the band as well as the energetic youth.It can be easily manipulated for furthur usage.

It was a workshop Focusing on United Nations Millennium Development Goals. I worked on developing solutions for Eradication of Poverty by 2020.

About
Poverty is one of the biggest challenges of developing countries. The workshop made me realize that the main reason of poverty is not lack of funds but misutilization of funds todays world. The workshop was divided in 2 parts, primary research (surveys) and secondary research (internet) to identify the main causes of the problem.

Our solution involves a web based interface targeting big real estate players, government tenders etc where contractors can be hired online. The target sector involves big real estate players, government tenders and institutions. An alternative wage system was created to provide basic services directly to the family to improve their standard of living.

The main focus of the assignment was to get us acquainted with prototyping methods and techniques. It also gave me an excuse to study about a childs way of thinking. I decided to go for a simple and dynamic toy. It can also be used to tell the kids about colors, alphabets etc.

Story
Nowadays all of us a part of a busy schedule. From which we get only sometime, once or twice in a year to go and spend some time with our parents. Instead of just letting that precious time ow by we can take our parents to one of their favourite moments where we all had a great time, using a simple jigsaw.

I started trying my hands with the camera last semester. Though I nd it quite hard to show others what I see but I am trying my best for it.

Things that make me smile There can be nothing more happier than a smiling kid. Just go to any street kid and show him his picture. He will be happy for the rest of the day :)

Ill be free for the summer of 2010 by virtue of my institutes summer break and am looking forward to working in a creative and lively environment where i can learn and contibute positively :)
