SKY NEWS Undercover Agents Infiltrate TB Joshuas Synagogue

Barely a month after the BBC released a report about several recorded deaths after the HIV and Aids healing claims in various churches and disingenuously mentioned TB Joshuas ministry as one of such ministries likely to encourage HIV and aids sufferers to drop their medication without proof, SKY news took on the challenge and sent undercover agents who had hidden cameras tucked in their jackets to SCOAN UK as AIDS sufferers, presumably because they felt the BBC report didnt have a nice ring to it following their lack of real evidence to implicate SCOAN. Kind of like a competition between them on who would better cover the story. There was even section of the video where the news agents having recorded all they wanted to without being discovered confronted the churchs evangelists saying the message they were spreading was a dangerous one. And what message. The Message that Jesus can Heal HIV and Aids. Now, trust the Pharisees at TB Joshua watch to also jump on this video like dogs on a bone, they hurriedly as usual made a post and put a link to the video, claiming it was another expose on the practices SCOAN denied, whereas in the video there was no where the evangelists or pastors told the people to drop their medication, all they gave to the undercover agent who posed as an AIDS victim was an encouragement that the Healing Christ Offers will liberate them from being propped up with medication all their lives which seems to be the only solution the medical practice can give.

A CAMPAIGN AGAINST TB JOSHUA OR AGAINST THE CHRISTIAN FAITH?

A balanced view on this case wouldnt take this issue to be a personal challenge against TB Joshua, although thats just what it looks like on the outside, but the fact is that the bigger picture comes across as being not just about TB Joshua, but a clear attack on the Healing power of Jesus Christ. The voice over for the video is heard to have said: There is plenty of evidence that faith can help people deal with issues but here faith was being abused (Abuse here means actually believing and telling people that God can heal) What this reporter is suggesting here is that faith in Jesus helps us manage sickness, but does not effectually cure us of it. Thats the major problem with these reports; the reporters make it seem that God is incapable of healing a person with HIV, and worse still, are making it seem that the evangelical pastors are the ones performing the healings and not God, undermining the evangelists claim not to be the healer. Now we cannot begin to state just how dangerous this belief is to the Christian faith. Christ Did not die that some of our diseases might be healed, He died for our total and complete healing no

matter the sickness or affliction, their report clearly places a limit to the healing power of Jesus and this is something Christians worldwide should stand against. The simple question here to any Bible believing Christian is this: DO YOU BELIVE JESUS CAN HEAL HIV? if your answer is a NO, then perhaps the sky news report is truth for you. But if you believe in Jesus Death for us on the Cross providing health to any sick flesh, then for you, the sky news report is evidently a far cry from the truth.

REPORTS OF A FAITHLESS GENERATION

The comments and reports of this news crew about faith healing are what Jesus referred to; the present system of things as an unbelieving generation when he said: ..When the son of man comes will he find faith on the earth? -Luke 18:8 Sadly today theyve stepped up their unbelief a gear, as not just those who dont have faith, but those who also dampen others faith. Brings to remembrance the Biblical episode of faithless reports spread by the ten spies when they went to spy the land of Canaan and because of that by no means entered. Numbers 13 and 14. What else were we expecting to hear from a generation of reporters without faith in Jesus Christ? There are countless of testimonies of those who have been healed coming forth weekly on the internet and via satellite on Emmanuel TV. Why didnt these same sky news reporters thoroughly investigate any of such healing testimonies and when they found it true or false tell it loudly to the world? Dont all those testimonies matter? Or are they all a ploy and joke to them? From the nature of their investigations, and reports its clear that theyre not interested in anything that has a chance of glorifying the name Jesus, but in that which would drag the name of His church into the mud. It wouldnt surprise me if these reporters are actually atheists, although it is understandable, because Jesus taught us that we are in the world but not a part of it. So we could say it is as expected of them, believers should be clear on this fact; the world has its values, norms as well as fears, one

of which is the fear of the dreaded disease, HIV/ AIDS, which we are not to share with them as believers. Jesus Christ is The HEALER AND HE HAS NEVER CHANGED. The Synagogue broadcasts its HIV healings during every live Sunday service, so its clear that to God, HIV is no big deal, but since the world has submitted to the fear of it they would also have TB Joshua and SCOAN do the same, But we know Jesus will continue healing HIV in SCOAN theres nothing anyone can really do to stop it. If those healed of HIV in SCOAN are often or always not healed as they suggest, why would more with same cases be encouraged to come and those coming for the same healing increase daily? Something to think of, scriptures are read everyday in churches that theres never a sickness Jesus cannot heal, but they seem to believe differently when it comes to HIV and AIDS.

OBJECTIVE OR CRITIQUE JOURNALISM?

Theirs was clearly a disgusting spy attempt at SCOAN to get proof to implicate TB Joshuas ministry. But they ultimately missed the end. Its indeed really surprising that with all their acclaimed journalism skills, they assigned no responsibility to the people who walked away from the church accepting that they had been healed without verifying it by established and scientific methods. Apparently, only a fool will be told by a pastor, your illness is healed or cured and he or she goes away, without verification and stop taking their medication, If they are still sick and claiming they have been healed, who are they making a fool of but themselves? Criticizing TB Joshua or any other minister of God for proclaiming the healing power of God is absolutely pointless. We have seen countless testimonies of people healed by God of terminal diseases and have had no reason to doubt them because theyre always backed with certified medical confirmation. Now we must say here that TB Joshua is quite a striking personality, he has critics in religious circles, among his ex-disciples, and as though that were not enough, the international media SKY and BBC joined the bandwagon. seriously, their report about the SCOAN seems to be no different from what journalists usually do with celebrities, where they make accusations that are not true and attract a lot of attention through it by getting everyone to read but then when its really is getting to it, it was not true and it only helped the person in question to skyrocket towards fame.
