COACH OF THE YEAR Drake Zortman, Messmer/Shorewood Zortman only landed the job in late June but hit the ground running, establishing a leadership council among the teams seniors and getting them to believe that they could be winners, which was a tall order in a program that has had a revolving door of coaches and little tradition of excellence in the last 20 years.
