ALL EVENTS AT EAST REQUIRE FOOD CATERING A minimum food charge of $13.90 per head applies for cocktail parties A minimum of 20 guests applies for canape functions A minimum food charge of $35.00 per head applies for dinners A minimum catering charge of $25pp applies to conferencing Payment of a deposit AND completion of Booking Form must accompany this confirmation. The deposit will be deducted from your final account. Management reserves the right to cancel the booking and allocate the venue to another client if this confirmation is not received.

FINAL NUMBERS are required 5 clear working days prior to your event. This number will represent the minimum numbers for which you will be charged. PREPAYMENT is appreciated for all known quantities before the night. Final accounts must be settled on or before the night, payment on the night is accepted with Cash or Credit Card. Personal cheques are not accepted. MINIMUM NUMBERS apply on Friday and Saturday Nights and in November & December. They represent the minimum charge associated with the space. i.e. regardless of where your numbers fall below the minimum number, the minimum number must be paid for. CANCELLATION In case of cancellation, EAST will not refund the deposit without 48 hours notice. EAST only offers spirits within the Deluxe Beverage Package. However, please note the following Spirit packages are not offered separately from the main packages or in conjunction with other beverages on consumption The spirits available are listed in the Deluxe Beverage Package and cannot be altered or swapped with other products. Spirits are only available with a full mixerno shots and no doubles. At all times responsible service of alcohol is practiced. EAST will not serve intoxicated people. Packages can only be selected for ALL your guests, not a percentage.

MENU: Details must be finalised at least 10 days prior to the function so our chefs can assure the quality & availability of food. COMPLIANCE: It is understood that the organiser will conduct the function in an orderly manner in full compliance with EAST Regulations and Liquor Licensing Laws. EAST is an 18+ venue, with no exceptions made. The Management reserves the right to exclude or eject any objectionable persons from EAST without liability. BAR ACCESS: Although every effort will be made to accommodate your guests in our bar after your event, there are no guarantees of entry due to limitations upon capacity. Please understand this and advise your guests. RESPONSIBILITY: Organisers are financially responsible for any damage/breakages sustained to EAST by the organiser, organisers guests, invitees or other persons attending the function. EAST will not accept any responsibility for the damage of loss of merchandise left prior to or after the function. RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL: EAST practices responsible service of alcohol on all occasions. Intoxicated individuals will not be served alcohol. AUDIO VISUAL: Organisers are financially responsible for any damage/breakages of equipment owned by EAST or sub-hired by EAST on behalf of the organiser. DISPLAYS AND SIGNAGE: Nothing is to be nailed, screwed or adhered to any wall or other surface or part of the building. PHOTOGRAPHERS & VIDEOGRAPHERS: Require permission to shoot within the venue and may be required to sign a License Agreement. CLEANING: General cleaning is included in the cost of the function. If cleaning requirements following your function are judged to be excessive, additional cleaning charges will be incurred. Confetti and some balloons are not permitted in EAST. SECURITY: Functions such as 18th & 21st birthdays may attract a charge for security. The preferred security company used by EAST is the only security to be used in such circumstances. As a guide 1 security person required for 50 guests, 2 for 100. BYO CAKES: We are happy for you to provide a cake. A $3.00pp cake cutting fee will apply. No other food or beverage is to be brought in by the customer and consumed in the function.
