November 27 December 4

Welcome Just for fun, have every adult (& child, if you want) wear a nametag with their middle name on it (or the name they dont normally go by). You might ask them to put their favorite movie on the nametag, or whatever you think would be fun for everyone to share. The point is to learn more about each other & have a laugh! Opening Prayer Ask for God to fill each person tonight in your HG with joy & gladness as you enjoy the fellowship of coming together as a church family!

Become
Family Time Play charades. Youll need several cards with simple actions for people to do. Examples: mowing the yard, building a sandcastle, skiing down a mountain, etc. Have simple cards for the younger kids & more challenging ones for the adults...however you choose. After a few rounds, give these new instructions. The audience needs to close their eyes while the next person takes a turn. No peeking! They might object, but have them do it. The point: charades is a much easier game to play when people can see you. In the same way, one of the best ways to share your faith is by letting people see Jesus in you. Sharing the Gospel is about the way we live & the words we say! Kids Time Youll need several sheets of red, white, black, green & yellow construction paper, scissors & a stapler. Have the kids make a wordless book which theyll use to share the Gospel. The pages need to be in this order: black, red, white, green & yellow. The colors (in that order) represent: sin which separates us from God; the blood of Christ who died for our sins; through confession & faith our sins are washed white as snow; growing as a new Christian & the streets of gold in heaven. After they put their books together, walk them through the Gospel & have them practice. This would be a great project for the older kids to lead the younger children! Teach Gods Word to your kids as often as you can. Suggested verses: Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8 Adult Time You might use a whiteboard for tonights discussion. During the Kingdom Starter Kit series, David Daniels used the chair illustration (with his hands) as one way to share the Gospel. We also have the key ring card with the Gospel on it. Ask a few people to practice sharing the Gospel with either of these two methods, or use another model. Go around the room & ask each person to share the name & story of someone in their life who does not know the Lord. What are the challenges you face in sharing the Gospel with the person you named? What would help you to be more comfortable in sharing your faith? How can prayer play a more vital role in your witness to this person? It would be good to give a person some advance notice on this one. Ask someone (or a couple of people) in your HG to share their testimony...the story of their salvation. What was their life like before Christ? What brought them to the point of salvation? What difference has Jesus made in their life since theyve been saved? Prayer Time Lord, give us a heart for the lost & the courage to share the Gospel with those you bring across our paths. Pray for those people that were named earlier who do not know the Lord as their Savior. Pray God would save them.
