GENERAL: Woodlife F is a unique blend of water repellent and wood preservative ingredients to be used to protect wood products in aboveground exposures. Woodlife F penetrates into wood and controls the growth of decay fungi, staining fungi, surface mold and mildew. It stabilizes wood against the effects of moisture and reduces dimensional changes that can cause swelling, warping and splitting. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Woodlife F is a clear penetrating nonswelling, paintable, water repellent wood preservative. The product is ready to use, colorless when dry and will not crack, blister, or peel. PRODUCT USE: PACKAGING: Woodlife F is an excellent treatment for millwork, shingles, siding, plywood, hardboard, flakeboard, structural lumber, fences, and other wood products. Woodlife F is used for the treatment of sash and other millwork components to meet the Hallmark program of the WDMA for a preservative water repellent (WDMA Standard IS-4). PREPARATION: ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Machine, cut, glue and sand wood as desired before treating. Do not use over previously finished or stained wood without stripping off the old finish. Do not use steel wool. Wood must be clean and dry before treatment. APPLICATION: The temperature of the treating solution, wood and surrounding air must be above 40F (4.4C). Apply by immersion, flood coat, spray or brush. Do not use high pressure spray. Any surface cut after first treatment should be retreated. 3-Iodo-2-Propynyl Butyl Carbamate..........................0.50% INERT INGREDIENTS ..................99.50% TOTAL: .........................................100.00% STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Storage: Store in a closed, properly labeled container in a cool place. If static generating conditions exist, provide necessary grounding and bonding. Keep containers closed when not in use. Drums Bulk IMMERSION: Millwork or other items to be painted should be treated 15 seconds for single pieces and 3 minutes for bundles. Treatment should be in accordance with WDMA Standard IS-4. FINISHING: The treatment should be completely dry and odor free before glazing, painting or varnishing. Allow 24 to 48 hours under average temperature and humidity conditions for drying. Forced heat drying is a good method to accelerate drying. Some species and types of wood products may take longer to dry. COVERAGE: 8 to 14 gallons per thousand board feet for open tank treatment and 200 square feet per gallon for brush application. Pesticide Disposal: Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. Pesticide wastes are acutely hazardous. Improper disposal of excess pesticide, spray mixture, or rinsate is a violation of Federal law. If these materials cannot be used according to label instructions, contact your State Pesticide or Environmental Control Agency, or the nearest EPA Regional Office for guidance. Container Disposal: Triple rinse (or equivalent). Then offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill or by other procedures approved by state and local authorities.
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS: This product is toxic to fish. For terrestrial uses, do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water by disposal of equipment wash-waters.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------3 HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION -------------------------------------------------------------------------------EYE: Contact with liquid may cause moderate eye irritation if not promptly rinsed from eyes. SKIN: Contact with liquid may cause moderate skin irritation. Repeated or prolonged contact with the skin can result in defatting and drying of the skin which may result in skin irritation and dermatitis. INHALATION: May cause irritation to nose, throat and respiratory tract. Excessive exposure to solvents may cause central nervous system depression, including headache, dizziness, drowsiness or nausea. INGESTION: May cause vomiting, diarrhea and depressed respiration. Aspiration of material into the lungs due to vomiting can cause chemical pneumonitis, which may be fatal. Individuals with pre-existing disease in or a history of ailments involving the skin, eye, respiratory tract, liver, kidney or central nervous system are at a greater than normal risk of developing adverse effects when exposed to this material. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------4 FIRST AID MEASURES -------------------------------------------------------------------------------EYE CONTACT: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first five minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected areas immediately with soap and water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If breathing has stopped, call 911, then have a trained person administer artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice. INGESTION: Call a poison control center immediately for treatment advice. Do NOT induce vomiting unless told to do so by poison control center or doctor. Do not give ANY liquid to the person. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Measures against circulatory shock, respiratory depression and convulsions may be required. Although carbamates are known to cause cholinesterase inhibition, 3-iodo-2-propynyl butyl carbamate did not inhibit cholinesterase in animal tests. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
