WHY PAKISTAN?
Pakistan with its strategic geographical location has gained worldwide recognition as a trade corridor linking vital regions of South, Central and West Asia. In order to gain maximum advantage of its ideal location, the country has been developing its transportation networks and around 100 million tons of cargo is currently being handled. The Government of Pakistan and the World Bank are pursuing developments in this sector to bring efficiency in the transportation sector to facilitate domestic trade and transport in the global supply chain. National Trade Corridor Program has been initiated in an effort to link Pakistan with its neighbouring countries to enhance transit trade competitiveness and the countrys industrialisation. Major initiatives are also being taken to propagate the use of multimodal transport for connecting markets and people.

English will be the official language of the Conference 3. Selected participants will have to submit the final papers / presentation latest by 20th December, 2011 4. The final paper should also include brief profile of the speaker / author along with a passport size photograph 5. The Paper Abstracts may be submitted via email to conference@pegasus.com.pk 6. 1. Papers will be chosen on the strength of the abstract, its particular content matter and relevance to the session themes 2. Submitted abstracts will be short-listed by the Conference Organizing Committee till 10th December, 2011 3. The Conference Organizing Committee reserves the rights of selection 4. The Committee will intimate the selection to the speaker / author 5. The Conference Program allocates a maximum of 20 minutes to each presentation
