ATOMIC TESTS TRIGGER TSUNAMI & EARTH QUAKES

Open letter to Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam the new found lawyer for Koodankulam atomic power plant. United States of America in between 16th July 1945 and 23rd September 1992 conducted 1054 nuclear tests in land and seas out of which 839 were underground tests. France in between 1966 to 1990 conducted 44 atmospheric nuclear tests and 123 underground nuclear tests in two atolls of French Polynesia known as Mururoa and Fangataufa. Let me remind Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam about the case T-219/95 R against French Government by residents of French Polynesia in the year 1995. Marie Therese Danielson, Pierre Largenteau and Edwin Haoa residents of Tahiti in this case stated: Nuclear tests caused a major underwater landslide at Mururoa in 1979 when a nuclear devise exploded. Since the geology of Mururoa is already unstable due to large scale fracturing caused by previous tests further landslides are likely. Such landslides in the past had given rise to tsunamis causing coastal damage in areas as far away as Pitcairn and Tahiti endangering residences of many including Ms.Danielson, one of the petitioner. They can also release radio active material into the sea with catastrophic effects on the food chain in an area such as French Polynesia where fish is an important part of the diet. Atomic Scientist Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam may ignore these whistleblowers and may say in Koodankulam no nuclear test is being done. But first of all he must clarify his stand on underground nuclear tests. The French colonial masters did not conduct test within France. They chose a location whose people will not be aware of nuclear disasters. The nuclear test shifted approximately one million cubic meters of coral and rock and created a cavity that produced tsunami like tidal waves which struck Tuamotu Archipelago. French Government was in denial mode for many years but in 1985 publication admitted the accident of 25th July of 1979. Dr.Kalam must answer this question? Under-ocean nuclear tests, is it justifiable and will he say tsunamis have no connectivity with under ground tests? Continental drift- plates collision and under ground tests in geo-fracture zones: Tamils lack sense of history. This inherent ingredient of the Tamil people is responsible for lack of recorded history at the time when every country woke up to construct its history on facts. We have to mainly depend on the literary evidences to write our history. The epic Silapathigaram gave us an insight into the landmass that is lost in the Indian Ocean. Will Dr.APJ.Abdul Kalam brush this as literary imagination? "The theory of continental drift that the continents move relative to one another was proposed by Alfred Wegener in 1910. It was not until 1945 that Arthur Holmes suggested a mechanism for the processconvection in the mantle. Complete evidences to convince more scientists those plate tectonics the movement of larger segments of the outermost shell of the earth as a mosaic of large rigid plates was not accomplished until the 1960's...."

understand the evolution of our planet and to have a coherent idea on earthquakes, volcanoes, mountain belts, ocean basins and the topography of the sea floor, scholars are relying on the theory of plate tectonics. Alfred Wagener known as the Father of Continental drift in his publication of 1912 said that " Looking at a global map it would appear that the continents could be brought together to fit like a jig saw puzzle" Mankind is one and this stands proven once again by the geological fact that continents were together at one time and drifted apart. Now everyone accepts that as solid upper Earth floats on astheno-sphere, the litho-sphere drifts". The Earths crust since its formative years dating back to 4.6 million years is in constant motion. "Broken into a patchwork of plates and floating on currents in the fluid visco-plastic upper mantle beneath, the plates continuously collide and pull apart. The continental crust is significantly less dense than either oceanic crust or the upper mantle rocks. Some more proofs are given below. The formation of Himalayan Mountains is due to the fact that Indian sub-continent moving northwards buckling up material while colluding with the Asian continent. The scientists of the Earth Observatory of Columbia University New York confirm that the Indo-Australian plate south of Equator in the Indian Ocean area has broken into two and each is moving in one direction. In the last 50 million years Indian sub continent is drifting at 5 centimeters a year towards North. Tibetan plateau and Himalayas bear the brunt of this mounting pressure. The Altyn Tagh fault i.e. geo-fracture extends 2200 kilometers in Western China........... DR.A.P.J.ABDUL KALAM owes Indians particularly victims of Bhuj earthquake for conducting Pokran test in a geo-fracture area beginning in Gulf of Kutch extending to China where the weakened zone gave way to earth quake. Let him repent that than becoming soothsayer in Koodankulam India conducted five nuclear tests 1 on May 11 and 13, 1998 at the Pokhran range in Rajasthan Desert. The first three detonations took place simultaneously at 15=45 hrs. IST on May 11. These included a 45 kiloton thermonuclear device, a 15 kiloton fission device and a 0.2 sub-kiloton (i.e. less than one kiloton) device. The two nuclear devices detonated simultaneously on May 13 were also in the sub-kiloton range - 0.5 kiloton and 0.3 kiloton. The necessity for the simultaneous detonation of the thermonuclear device and the fission device on May 11 was due to the fact that the two shafts where these detonations were carried out were separated by only 1 kilometer. There was a concern that otherwise the shock wave from a detonation in one shaft may damage the second shaft and the equipment located therein. The inclusion of a sub-kiloton device in the third shaft a few kilometers away in the May 11 tests and the simultaneous detonation of the two sub-kiloton devices on May 13 were dictated by the advantages of convenience and speed. DAMAGE DONE: NATURE WAITED TO RETALIATE: Weakened zone witnessed earthquake The Mw7.6 Bhuj earthquake that shook the Indian Province of Gujarat on the morning of January 26, 2001 (Republic Day) is one of the two most deadly earthquakes to strike India in its recorded history. One month after the earthquake official Government of India figures place the death toll at 19,727 and the number of injured at 166,000. Indications are that 600,000 people were left homeless, with 348,000 houses destroyed and an additional 844,000 damaged. The Indian State Department estimates that the earthquake affected, directly or indirectly, 15.9 million people out of a total population of 37.8 million. More than 20,000 cattle are reported killed. Government estimates place direct economic losses at $1.3 billion. Other estimates indicate losses may be as high as $5 billion. Doctor A.P.J.Abdul Kalam ji , I am not a Doctor because I was not chosen as Chief Minister of Tamilnadu to don the Honorary Doctor as Dr, which none in other countries do, but a Cn, yes citizen who questions you. 1. Do you say under ocean nuclear tests did not trigger tsunami? 2. Do you say the underground test at Pokran in the geo-fracture did not ignite Bhuj earthquake? 3. Do you keep away from becoming a lobbyist and preserve the public esteem you hold? 4. In Bay of Bengal every day Tamil fishermen are killed, instead of raising your voice against this genocide beyond borders and cross border terrorism of Srilankan navy, why suddenly you have come to hold brief for Koodamkulam power plant?

SAY NO TO 20 ATOMIC POWER PLANTS: LET INDIA JOIN JAPAN TO BRING POWER FROM MOON

Dr.Manmohan Singh who subverted all decencies and nuances of Parliamentary democracy using Amar Singh to seduce Member of Parliaments to get his bill passed is an ardent advocate of World Bank prescriptions and dictates of multi-national companies. His double game stand exposed in Koodankulam. Close on the heels of an eye-wash Central delegation to pacify the people who are protesting he had initiated back door conspiracies hand in glove with Tamilnadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha to foist 80 or more cases on the social activists and is contemplating of clamping National Security Act on these protestors. Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam for whom entire Tamils across continents had regard overnight became another Amar Singh to help Manmohan Singh in his game for nuclear power. After Koodankulam now it is Karnatakas Kaiga power project which faces peoples ire. First the credit goes to people of Maharashtra who launched their mass movement against Jaitapur power project. Totally 20 nuclear power projects are in various stages of completion and operation in India. The advocates of nuclear power plants have failed to take note of what Japan does in the aftermath of a calamity in their nuclear power plant. Let me quote from May 28 th 2011 The Times of India on a story about Japanese scientists unveiling plans to turn the moon into a gigantic mirror-ball manned by robots to provide all the Earths energy needs. The ambitious project would result in 13,000 terawatts of continuous solar energy being transmitted back to receiving stations on Earth either by laser or microwave, reports TOI. Japanese construction giant Shimizhu Corporations research division would result in an 11,000 kilometer long band stretching around the light side of the moons equator. Daily Mail, quoting Shimizhu Corporation states that a shift from the economical use of limited resources to the unlimited use of clean energy is the ultimate dream of all mankind. Virtually inexhaustible, non-polluting solar energy is the ultimate source of green energy that brings prosperity to Nature as well as to our lives, and when Japan had taken steps in this direction why cant Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam advice the Dr.Manmohan Singh Prime Minister of Corporate India to suggest to his Government agencies to go for tie-up with the Japanese corporation and plan well ahead of other countries to light India with green energy. May be he can ask Madam Sonia Gandhi to make Indian National Congress, a Greens party and join hands with other Green parties of Europe. A statesman is one who thinks ahead, who charts future course on the basis of bitter lessons, learnt from past and present. When Japan had learnt, why cant India. It is the Japanese disaster that had generated genuine fears among Koodankulam area Tamil people. Let Prime Minister say we will convert Koodankulam Power Project into an Indo-Japanese Joint venture and work to bring green energy from Moon to India. Say good-bye to Russia if you dont want Indian people to say good bye to their precious lives. Koodankulam, Kaiga, Jaitapur and other nuclear power projects be converted into Indo-Japan joint ventures for clean green energy Let India illuminate its towns and villages with Green power from Moon 10.11.2011

SINGLE GLOBAL CURRENCY TO INTEGRATE SINGLE GLOBAL MARKET

The advocates of single global market preached as if progress will reach countries across continents but nearly two decades had passed but we witness wealth reaching multi-national corporations and people have become beggars in their own countries. The Washington Post article on 7th November 2011 points out that top ten companies, 6 from USA, 2 from UK, one each from France and Swiss control 19.45 % of the global financial network. If 50 companies are counted together, then 40 % of the global financial network is under their control. This situation on one side and joblessness on other side had awakened people across the continents where the chorus for Occupy Wall Street is echoing. Peoples assets have been stolen by politicians-bureaucratscorporate nexus. The whistleblower Henry Morgenthau Junior, Secretary of Treasury wrote to then President of USA Mr. Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1937 thus: Corporation laws make it more difficult to ascertain who the actual stock brokers are. Moreover the stockholders have resorted to all manner of devices to prevent the acquisition of information regarding their companies. The companies are organized through foreign lawyers with dummy incorporators and dummy directors, so that the names of real parties in interest do not appear After East India companies by French, British and Dutch, we witness neo-colonialism through multi nationals which have eroded the sovereignty of nations. World Bank which prescribed globalization itself feels alarmed over what is happening. United Nations Convention against Corruption 2003 had been ratified by only 100 countries as on October 2011. The 2003 recommendations for Financial Action Task Force had been endorsed by 170 countries. World waits for action, and World Bank had launched a Stolen Assets Recovery Initiative. The recent report compiled by Dr.Ngozhi-Okonjo-Iweala, Coordinating Minister of Economy & Finance, Nigeria who was also Former Managing Director of World Bank had compiled a data base of 150 corruption cases. The Indians can be happy that only Former Minister Shukram finds a place in this database, others have yet to come to limelight. 1998: United Nations Office on Drug and Crime brought out a report on Financial Havens, Banking Secrecy and Money Laundering 2000: European Union Commission brought a report on protecting the financial system from exploitation of Financial centers and offshore facilities by organized crime. 2001: OECD Report: Behind the Corporate veil: Using corporate entities for illicit purposes. 2002: International Trade and Investment Organization & Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners brought out a report: Towards a level playing field: Regulating Corporate Vehicles in cross-border transactions. 2006: Financial Action Task Force: Misuse of Corporate vehicles. 2010: Caribbean Financial Action Task Force: Money laundering using Trust and company service providers on Money Laundering 2011: World Bank and UN Office on Drug and Crime: Stolen Assets Recovery Initiative. World opened the Pandoras Box when World Bank prescribed globalization. It is noble goal but in practice when controls of nations over corporate withered away multi-national corporations mushroomed to grab the wealth in earth from anywhere without even blinking an eye over the agonies of people who live there for ages. Now to contain the ghost let out World Bank has launched the Stolen Assets Recovery Initiative. Dravida Peravai welcomes this initiative, when Government of India lacks in initiative. But we remind the economists that economics without logic and ethics would only be cursed by the living peoples on Earth. In between 1994-1995, I was the Associate Editor of the only English weekly New Times Observer brought out from Puducherry in India. In its 26th May 1995 issue I wrote on: Evolve Single Common Currency to Integrate world economy. Shrine is burnt. Masjid is demolished. Temples were razed to ground. Religions that came into existence to condition human behavior have only taught human race hate. Talk on love and tolerance but acts of vendetta are in practice. As Marx envisaged withering away of the state may not be possible in near future. But the time of withering away of the religions had come. Age of science cannot hold on to the religions that do not fit into the domain of reason. Gods as human beings do not descend from heavens to live in particular places of worship. On the Earth the decadent

western culture has provided enough room for pleasure seeking places and nude dancing damsels in our night clubs cater to animal instincts. No need to dream of Indiras kingdom and dancers like Ramba, Oorvasi and Tholothama. Telescopes that are having a glimpse of the many planets like Sun, Moon, Mars and many stars so far have not found a galaxy or planets where life systems exist. Heaven which all our poets described is nowhere to be seen. Legends and myths have been proven to be pack of lies and absurdity. All this should make us realize that Earth is the heaven of human race but it becomes hell only when man finds sadistic satisfaction in enacting Hiroshimas. The only God that mankind had to discard first and foremost is the Money God. Karl Marx has proven the invincibility of the fictitious surplus value theory. Speculative economics that builds castles in the air should be given a decent burial. Productive economics alone needs to be encouraged. The very first step in curtailing speculative economics and its maladies will be to introduce single global currency. There should be no delay in dismantling various currencies. European Union is moving towards a common currency but it should not stop with that. Developing nations working out a common currency system to preserve the prosperity achieved through exploitation should be an eye opener to the developing countries. A Single Global currency acceptable to developed and developing countries will alone integrate the world economy. World Trade Organization will become defunct like UNO. Wither away your currencies, disown your religions and think in terms of evolving new codes to regulate economies and life on earth. A cosmic culture has to blossom at the dawn of the next century, hence everyone had to give up his or her past prejudices and preferences. Codes based on Manu that foster castes and religious bigotry of minorities remain a stumbling block for Indian unity, the protagonists of uniform civil code in India proclaim. A Universal Civil Code will not be in anyones agenda as that will open the gateway for cosmic culture. Party less democracy will not be pondered by politicians. Religions with impersonal god could be thought of only by noble hearts like M.P.John who refuses to create an institution to propagate his concept as he is clearly aware of the deviations and distortions that will sneak in. Such lessons past provides in case of other institutions. The share markets that developed gambling habit is one of the dangerous diseases that erupted due to the speculative economics we pursue. Black markets, Flesh markets and recently share markets alone are hailed by Manmohanomics in the free market economy in high pitch. The surplus value that accrues in industrial or agricultural production should not reach the coffers of the capitalists but should lead to equal-distribution within society to each according to his need. Production that does not upset the ecological balance and which is in harmony with the unwritten laws of natural evolution alone should be planned. In short economists and planners must realize that earth is the heaven of human race and haven of peace and progress. Hence to integrate global economy single common currency should be accepted for all countries to prosper. Courtesy: New Times Observer 29.5.1995: Author: N.Nandhivarman THIS IDEA HAD CAUGHT THE ATTENTION or SOME NOBLE ECONOMISTS HAVE STARTED TO THINK ON SIMILAR LINES. SINGLE GLOBAL CURRENCY ASSOCIATION HAD COME UP. Please visit the link given below: http://www.singleglobalcurrency.org/

BOUQUETS FOR CORPORATE: BRICK BATS FOR CONSUMERS : POLICIES POLICIES OF UPA GOVERNMENT COMDEMNED
Indian commoner is not aware of petrol prices in other countries. Out of data available for 157 countries, those countries which produce petrol grouped under Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries have the lowest price. These countries have huge reserves so petrol is cheaper there. In Indian Rupee, the price of per litre petrol in Venezuela would be Rs.1.14. Iran sells to people at Rs.4.8 per litre. Even in USA the price of petrol per litre is Rs 42.82 only even after taxes. Even a simple comparison of retail prices in different countries by converting them to Indian Rupee reveals in India petrol is more expensive than 98 countries.
Page Page

The price in dollars as on January 2011 from the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit [GIZ], IMF, BPCL is as follows: China sells petrol at $ 1.95 and diesel at $ 1.83 whereas India sold petrol at $3.95 and diesel
5

at $ 2.46. UK sold petrol for $ 1.85 and diesel for $ 1.91. Brazil sold petrol for $ 1.70 and diesel for $ 1.23. Japan sold petrol for $ 1.28 and diesel for $ 1.09.Russia sold petrol for $ 1.26 and diesel for $ 1.08. USA sold petrol for $ 0.76 and diesel for $ 0.84 .All these were in January 2011. Saudi Arabia sold petrol at $ 0.23 dollars and diesel at $ 0.10 dollars. Venezuela sold at $ 0.03 and diesel at $ 0.01. The great economist Manmohan Singh squeezes the people with hiking petrol/diesel prices now and then. He shirks his responsibility. He throws the governance to winds by saying it is for Oil companies to decide hike. Former Bangla Congress Minister currently INC Minister in UPA Pranab Mukerjee shifts responsibility on states to reduce taxes. Comptroller and Auditor General of India found fault with Government of India for allowing Reliance Industries Limited to inflate its capital expenditure claims for the D6 field in Krishna-Godavari Basin. By hiking capital expenditure RIL ensured that Governments share in production of gas gets reduced. Who benefited, why government should loose revenue and fatten profits of RIL, the UPA government wont open the skeletons hidden in its cupboard. As the Stolen Property Recovery Initiative of World Bank indicates in India only Former Congress Minister Sukhram had stolen countrys wealth, and no one else. In India as media reports say only A.Raja looted nations wealth and Mr.Murli Deora is Mr.Clean. There is a condition in the contract with Government. The fields where no oil discoveries were made should be surrendered to the Government. RIL did not surrender. Dravida Peravai urges Government of India to redeem those fields and give them on life-term lease to all the fishing villages of Godavari-Krishna coast including Yenam fishermen. Let them have rights over fields in seas as farmers have rights over land in seas. As per CAG, the Oil Ministry allowed Cairn India to expand the contract area by 1600 square kilo meters. In land you acquire the land of farmers but in seas you allow SEA_GRAB for 1600 square kilometers, Mr.Prime Minister, step down, Let atleast Rahul Gandhi try governance anf falter in his steps. You pretend to be a saint, but your actions are satanic.

DEATH OF NATIONS AND DISINTEGRATION OF STATES IN INDIA

Kenichi Ohmae wrote a book The End of The Nation State. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayavathi is desperate to come back to power weathering the storm of peoples anger and had suddenly mooted the idea of disintegrating the biggest state in India. We who view global politics will recall past history. Colonialism led to the formation of nation states. USA became an independent country in 1776. Former colonies of Spain and Portugal got liberation and in between 1810 to 1844, seventeen new states emerged in Latin America. Italy became a nation state in 1861. Canada in 1867. These were days when nations came into existence liberating from monarchies and moving towards democracy. Chin dynasty in China, monarchy in Japan, Ottoman Empire in Turkey and Mogul Empire in India were breathing amidst democracies. The book Rise and Expansion of British Power in India by Theodore Morrison states that British came to India seeking wealth and commercial chances and in the beginning they never had the intention to capture this country and rule it. Similarly the multi nationals have started to arrive in India seeking wealth and markets. History will repeat and they too will capture Indian states. With many companies competing to grab markets, Indian states are heading for disintegration. Each multi-national or cartel want exclusive hunting ground for profits. In these connection Chinese companies wooing BJP Chief Minister Narendra Modi and China inviting Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for Buddhist conference has definitely a hidden agenda. The visit of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to Tamilnadu recently and the awaited invitation to

Tamilnadus dictator in democratic garb Ms.J.Jayalalitha is to get foothold for more American companies to capture the market in Tamilnadu. In 1577 Sir Francis Drake and in 1586 Thomas Coventick travelled successfully around the globe and secured space for Portuguese and Spanish in Indian market. Even before these two Vas coda Gama had reached India via Point of Good Hope in 1497 Portuguese were the first in grabbing South East Asian market. It is only in 1596 British Queen invested money in overseas ventures as a result of which Sir Robert Dudleys vessels set to sail towards India. British traders took hue and in 1599 appealed to Privy Council seeking governments sanction to float a company. Around 1600, British Queen consented for the formation of The Company of London merchants for Business in East India. After sanction shares were collected from the people. 217 persons contributed 68,373 pounds. Under the leadership of Sir Lancaster five ships namely Mare, Scourge, Hector, Ascension, Gift and Susan started their first voyage and missed India but landed in Java where they set up their first trading centre. The second voyage by Henry Middleton too failed to touch India. Those share holders in London who invested in these two voyages got two hundred percent profit. Determined to anyhow reach India, in 1607 John Hawkins started his journey. He reached India and met Mogul Emperor Shajhahan at Agra. He gave the letter of British Monarch seeking permission to set up trade posts in India. After three years of stay in Agra, he obtained in principle approval of the Mogul rule to start a business company in Surat of current Gujarat State. The Mogul Emperor might have thought only a company is arriving similarly our Manmohan Singh is dreaming multi-nationals are here for only business and wont unseat him. Portuguese came in 1500 and British, a century later. The East India Company was founded in 1600 to sell British woolen cloth to India. Their ships arrived in Surat in 1608 with vast quantities of broad cloth but the trade soon faltered and died out. What changed their fortunes was the discovery of cotton which was completely unknown in Europe wrote Rosemary Crill of V&A Museum of London. Three scholars Ms.Crill, Ruth Barnes and Steven Cohen in their book Trade, Temple and Court: Indian Textiles from Tapi Collection report that Millions worth of Indian cotton arrived in England so much so that the wool and linen weavers began to protest and law prohibiting the import of Indian textiles was passed in 1700. See how our weavers were of world class in 1700 which made British weavers protest and British monarchy pass law preventing import of Indian textiles. Our soil that grew cotton which enriched our farmers and made our weavers a matter of envy to British weavers have lost their livelihood with East India Company sneaking into India and unknowingly Mogul Emperor gave them a foothold here. Similarly when P.V.Narasimha Raos and his Finance Minister Manmohan Singh when they signed in GATT, were not aware that Indias democracy will be hijacked and be subverted into corporate democracy. Now in 2011 we realize the after effects of April 15th of 1994. If we look at our democracy we would be able to notice centralization of powers in Union Government converting States into municipalities. This trend continued as long as few multinationals found concentration of power in Center beneficial and useful for their interests. They could manipulate the players directly or with the help of lobbyists like Nira Radia. The beeline made by many nations and its multi-nationals led to diversion of these corporate towards various states of India. I would like to recall my meeting with NDA Governments Finance Minister in his residence where I went with a 15 political party memorandum welcoming the introduction of Uniform Sales Tax in the UT of Puducherry. Yaswant Sinha said that Europe started with various currencies but had arrived at a common market, but we in India have a common currency but could not arrive at Indian Common market. This situation helped corporate to lobby with State Chief Ministers or their wives/concubines/sons/daughters/ to create a favorable climate for them to set foot in that state. As an extension of this game-plan, now through UP Chief Minister Mayawathi, these corporate want to break UP and create 4 new states in Indian Union. If we could go back to pages of history we can find that States Re-Organization Commission had given its verdict against break up of Uttar Pradesh, though one of its Keralite member K.M.Panikker recorded his dissent. Ironically it is the Congress which is now in dilemma over Mayavathis game plan, while debating an electoral debacle in UP formed a Committee under K.Karunakaran to study the reasons and it is this committee then suggested creation of 4 semi-autonomous units for UP Congress Committee. Yes a prelude to state break up, AICC contemplated party break up in UP. Though entire working committee of Congress endorsed this till date Congress is dilly dallying over creation of 4 units for 4 regions of UP. Are we going back to break up of Indian states based on early princely states and loyalties to those past memories? Are we going to break bigger state that could send more members to Parliament so that the clout of UP in Union Government could be weakened? In 1923 Europe had 23 states with 18,000 kilometers of borders but by 2004 it had broken into 50 states with 40,000 kilometers of borders. So Kenichi Ohmae in his book The End of Nation State argues that advance of markets and economic inter-dependence will see nation states being largely replaced by city states. Are we going towards that goal to turn Indian Union into city states numerically more than princely states? The forthcoming winter session of Parliament should be used by political parties to deeply debate the trend involved in break up of UP to begin with.. Dravida Peravai endorses the stand taken by Akilesh Yadav M.P, leader of UP Samajwadi Party against break up of Uttar Pradesh. N.Nandhivarman General Secretary Dravida Peravai, Puducherry 605001. LADY WHO HAD LOST HER MENTAL EQUILIBRIUM

The Indian State of Tamilnadu where people are proud of their mother tongue, one of the surviving classical languages with a cultural heritage richer than most cultures of mankind produced a Great Genius C.N.Annadurai in 20th century. This illustrious son of Tamilnadu known affectionately as elder brother in Tamil [Anna] transformed the thinking process of Tamils installing in their conscience a self respect for themselves and liberating the mind set of servitude to the self proclaimed men with superiority complex. Thirst for knowledge should be satiated, was Aringnar Annas dream. He wished every house in Tamilnadu must have a separate room for storing books. My father R.Nagarathinam published a Tamil weekly to promote Saiva Siddhanantha, a philosophical school among Tamils. The weekly Vithagam which appeared in thirties was edited by Yazhpaanam S.Kandaiya Pillai. So from childhood in my house tons and tons of books occupied rooms. After we lost our traditional home due to business losses, we have been shifting from one rented house to another but every time we carry one full lorry load of books and at least 2 rooms house these books. I am ideologically opposed to my father and being atheist my share of books increased the number of books in the house. Like our house every house in Tamilnadu could not have a room for books. And to suitably honour the memory of Aringnar Anna, the previous Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Kalaignar M.Karunanithi constructed Anna Centenary Library to house 12 lakh books and is known as the best of libraries in Asia. The cine actress J.Jayalalitha has bad memories of her childhood haunting her and her behavior whenever she is in power makes people wonder whether she had lost her mental equilibrium. There is sadist tendencies entrenched in her memories which results in decisions like evacuating a functioning library named after Anna, the great leader in whose memory the party she heads had been named as Anna DMK. No one could make her realize her folly. Now medical researches have come to the rescue. A study by University of Montreal researchers has found a drug that could help reduce brains ability to recall painful memories. The new drug they have found metyrapone reduces brains ability to re-record the negative emotions associated with painful past memories. This new drug is essential for Doctor J.Jayalalitha to come out of her past painful memories that makes her a sadist. The Center for Studies on Human Stress of Louis-H Lafontaine Hospital which challenges the theory that memories cannot be modified once they are stored in brain had prescribed this new drug. Ms.J.Jayalalitha must secretly go to this hospital and by the new found drug shed the bad memories and sadist tendencies that explode now and then from her brain cells. Then only Tamilnadu will be ruled by a mentally balanced ruler and the loss of mental equilibrium of the person who rules Tamilnadu creates a Talibanized image which drives towards destruction of cultural heritages and historical corrections made to re-claim our cultural past. Since she was not in Anna DMK, the day it was formed, and I only first announced the name of the party in which she joined a decade later, though I was the first to be expelled by Marudur Gopala Menon Ramachandran on fictitious charge of myself being CIA agent, a common term for political abuse in seventies, I have every right to ask her to desist from shifting the Anna Centenary Library and no one will object if she constructs her Amma Memorial Hospital and allow Tamils to call only their mother as Amma and lift them from slavery within her party giving them equality, liberty, fraternity, the three cardinal principles of French revolution. Duty, Decorum, Discipline is three principles taught by Anna, so please do your Chief Ministerial duty with decorum and be disciplined to uphold the ideals of the founder of the movement in whose memory your party had been named.

KINGFISHER: BAIL OUT TO KINGFISHER: BAD PRECEDENT PRIME MINISTER

The Prime Minister of Corporate India Mr.Manmohan Singh is going to bail out Kingfisher Airlines forgetting to bail out farmers who are committing suicides, As per National Crime Records bureau in 1995 the farmers who committed suicide were 10720 and till date 2, 56,913 farmers have committed suicides. The break up year-wise is : 1996 [13729] , 1997 [13622],1998 [16015] ,1999 [16082] ,2000 [16603] , 2001 [16415] , 2002 [17971],2003 [ 17164],2004[18241], 2005[17131], 2006[17060], 2007[16632], 2008[16196],2009[17368],2010[15964] thus total 2,56,913 farmer suicides in India . The credit goes to Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar for scoring the first for his home-state which alone accounts for 50,000 suicides. Being busily engaged in looking at cricket scores, Mr.Sharad Pawar would have no time to view or weep for farmers suicides. Failure to bail out farmers from debt burden which drove them to suicide did not prick the conscience of Mr.Manmohan Singh and Mr.Sharad Pawar. They are going to bail out Kingfisher Airlines. Dinamani, Tamil daily wrote in its Editorial on 15th November 2011, that Kingfisher Airlines started in 2003 and became operational from 2006 had not made or shown profit even for single year since its inception. Air India has 135 planes, Jet Airways owns 97 planes and third in list Kingfisher has 66 planes. Dinamani says Jet Airways, second in numerical strength had never had losses. It had to pay to Government for the year 2008-09 Rs 379 crores and it had paid Rs.368 crores. For 2009-10, the Jet Airways had to pay Rs. 354 crores but it had paid Rs. 346 crores. Current year of 2010-11 its due is Rs 344 crores so far but it had paid Rs.333 crores. When such being the case why Kingfisher incurred Rs.8200 crore debts and Union Minister Vayalar Ravi is working overtime to bail out this private airline ? Let us see how Governments handle Air India, a government enterprise. Air Indias proposal to buy 3 A-310 aircraft was rejected by GOI in December 1996. 2004 again Air India wants to buy 28 aircrafts i.e. ten A-340 and eighteen Boeing 737. UPA Government comes to power in May 2004. Again Air India knocks the door of the Government to buy 50 aircraft i.e. 22 B-777 and 27 B-787 in November 2004. In April 2005 Air India proposes to buy 35 with firm orders and leaving 15 for other options. All levels of Government of India clear this proposal by December 2005. Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approves an Empowered Group of Ministers to carry out price negotiations. Then Finance Minister P.Chidambaram was made Chairman of this EGOM on 20th December 2005. Within four days on December 2005, this EGOM met Boeing group and decides Air India should place orders for 68 planes. December 30 of 2005, the Prime Ministers office sends EGOM chief P.Chidambarams note to Prime Minister. Same day with jet speed Prime Ministers Office tells the Civil Aviation Ministry that PM had seen the note and directed the Civil Aviation Ministry may inform Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs about the finalized transaction. December 30 of 2005, the Civil Aviation Ministry informs Air India about approval. On the same day i.e. 30th December 2005 Air India signs purchase agreement with Boeing worth Rs 33, 197 crores. This is the Speedy Delivery of Justice to the corporate world. In single day how Union Cabinet functioned this is classic example. The same speed is absent in resolving Telengana or ending Manipur blockade, people of India must take note of this lethargy.

Bailing out Kingfisher sets bad precedents, Prime Minister, people will not hail you.

MOSQUITO DISTUR MUSIC OF MELODY QUEEN Miss. MOSQUITO DISTURBING

Donating blood everyday to mosquitos causes stress and listening to the music of mosquitoes in ears creates tension. In living rooms of Puducherry people in day time too cover their bodies with mosquito nets and time has come for people to come out in streets wearing mosquito nets like rain coats. There is a monument of public money wastage of Union Government in Puducherry known as Vector Control Research Institute, which for decades had swallowed public money without any invention to redeem people of Puducherry from the bites of mosquitoes. But Center for Research in Entomology, Madurai had found a solution to arrest mosquito breeding. Floating tiny thermacol like beads of polystyrene, a compound used in making cups and packaging material suffocate mosquito larvae and pupae prevents mosquito breeding. Strewing 3 mm in beads of polystyrene in breeding havens like pit latrines or unused wells reduces mosquito breeding research now with Indian Council of Medical Research established beyond doubt by field experiments in villages of Villupuram. Dr.B.K.Thyagi the researcher waits for Governments to awaken from slumber. A hotel near my home lets its drainage water in open canal in the street which remains stagnated for weeks awaiting monsoon to flush it out, and living near a breeding ground of mosquitoes I am forced by Puducherry Municipality and Health Department and Vector Control Research Institute of Gorimedu Indiranagar to listen to the music of miss mosquitoes that make a beeline to this bachelors room. Let Indira Nagar M.L.A, Thamizh Selvan woo these mosquitoes to his constituency and save me from mosquito bites. Sound bytes in TV are welcome to me but not mosquito bites. INTER-LINK OF INDIAN RIVERS: GOVERNMENT FOR CORPORATE FARMING TO COME

Farmers have become a forgotten tribe in our corporate democracy. The dream to interlink Indian rivers for which then President of India Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam paid lip service in a Republic Day speech had been laid to rest by recent Supreme Court order, reported in The Times of India, reproduced in verbatim below : http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2011-1018/india/30296407_1_river-networking-river-linksinterlinking Supreme Court had expressed inability to direct the Government of India to pump in 5 lakh crore this year to start the river interlink project. According to the Stolen Asset Recovery initiative of the World Bank and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime published in 2011, titled Puppet Masters reminds us that Indian rulers are mere puppets and puppeteers are multi-national companies and other mafias. If only people with conscience can ask, why our stolen assets could not be brought back to finance the river inter-link project it would awaken the rulers from slumber and lethargy. Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam who should have raised repeatedly the inter-link of rivers conveniently forgot once out of power.

Our rivers are diverted by China. Our Himalayan glaciers are melting year after year. North India faces flood fury without fail in every year. Our rivers are emptying in our seas. Farmers have no water left for agriculture.

As per 2003 statistics of World Commission of Dams China tops with 22,000 dams. America follows with 6575 dams, India has 4291 dams and tiny Japan is with 2675 dams. These dams not only cater to agricultural needs but also generate power. The head waters of most of the major rivers of Asia are in Tibet, so damming them could have implications downstream, said Aviva Imhof, campaign director of International Rivers Org. Our Brahmaputra starts in South West Tibet as Yarlung Tsango River and flows through Southern Tibet and crosses through Himalayas and reaches our Indian State of Arunachal Pradesh assuming the name Dihang. From South West of Assam valley it is known as Brahmaputra. It has Amouchu, Raidak, Sankosh, Nans, Bhareli, Dibang, Luhit, Burhiding, Dihing, Kameng, Manas, Yamuna, Teesta, Rangeet, Lachung, Darla, Jaldhaka as its tributaries. This Brahmaputra is diverted within Chinese territory as picture depicts. But in spite of that Arunachal Pradesh faces flood fury every year. To manage the floods in Arunachal Pradesh, India prepared a plan and sought assistance from Asian Development Bank. China raised objections in June 2009 after Asian Development Banks Board of Directors and member countries endorsed a Country partnership strategy for 2009-2012 which included Arunachal project. The bank withdrew the project. Our Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, sudden lobbyist of Koodankulam project did not raise any voice even over the Chinese intervention in flood management of Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Our river waters should not be used by our farmers, and Indian rulers have put river interlink project in cold storage, only to redeem it on the day corporate farming catches in India. There cannot be any other reason to be debating beyond 4 decades river inter linking, and the failure of which results in flood furies year after year. Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam being a scientist will proudly proclaim that astronomers of California Institute of Technology have discovered a mass of water vapour that is 140 trillion times that all of the water in the worlds oceans combined and 100000 times more massive than the Sun, according to Astrophysical Journal Letters. May be our farmers can take bullock carts and women can carry mud pots to the Quasar APM 08279+5255, which harbours a black hole 20 billion times more massive than the Sun and produces as much energy as thousand trillion Suns. After the Supreme Court observation that 5 lakh crore could not be spent to inter-link rivers Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam the man who in office supported this project must have spoken, why he remained silent and mouth shut in this matter while openly advocating Koodankulam project, people have right to question his credentials. The Drivers and Dynamics of Illicit Financial Flows from India: 1948-2008 published by Global Financial Integrity states the total value of illicit assets held abroad represents 72% of Indias underground economy. Estimated around $213 million in 2008 it would be around $ 462 million now. If this or partial amount of this had been brought back Supreme Court need not have expressed inability to direct the Government of India to cough up 5 lakh crore for interlinking of rivers. As one who through by 4 decade friend Comrade George Fernandes who got River interlink project inducted into the Election manifesto of National Democratic Alliance and one who first knocked the Supreme Court, which even the Times of India news mentions, I would appeal to great personalities like Anna Hazare, Sri Sri, Ramdev, and our APJ.Abdul Kalam to force the Government to start the river interlink project by bringing back hoarded black money equalivent to two 2G loot to provide water to our farmers and boost our agrarian economy.
