BSNL: In a bid to boost the 3G Wireless Broadband services, Indias National Telecom Backbone Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd

(BSNL) today reduces the price of its plug-n-play 3G USB Devices (3G Data Card) from Rs. 3500 to Rs.2500. The operator also offers free data transfers up to of 6 GB per month (One GB at Day time and 5 GB Night Usage) for 2 month on the purchase of Data Card from BSNL. Recently BSNL crosses One Million 3G GSM Mobile and Data service subscriber mark and offers it next generation 3G services in more than 370 cities across India. BSNL offer 3G Wireless Broadband services with speed up to 3.6 Mbps and 7.2 Mbps (depends on device) for the prepaid and postpaid subscribers, with the attractive Limited and Unlimited 3G data tariff plans starts fromRs. 249 to Rs. 2499.

BSNL reduced its data card prices. Now 3.6 Mbps data card is available for Rs.1600 and 7.2 Mbps data card is available for Rs.2000. Both of them are manufactured by Teracom. This price is applicable to all telecom circles except Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The given price is exclusive of taxes. Bsnl has also reduced the price of its CDMA EVDO card to Rs.1499. The price of Teracom Linktop/LW272 single band modem is Rs.1600 and price of Teracom Linktop/LW273 tri Band modem is Rs.2000. BSNL 3G service is now available in more than 800 cities in India.

Re-insert the SIM holder into the 3G USB Stick.

Youll be supplied with two data cables a short, single-ended one; and a long, double-ended one. You need to use the double-ended cable only if a single USB ports does not supply enough power (for eg, a USB-powered hub). Plug the 3G USB Stick rmly into your computers USB port.

Plug the other end into your computers USB port if this does not power the modem, then use the double-ended cable.

This is the first CDMA based hi speed data card offering Unlimited Tariff plan with speed up to 3.1 Mbps.
