100 PREFACE The professional training is the internal part of a M.B.A program. It helps the studentunderstand practical aspects of Business Management in a better way as a part of my M.B.A. program at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar . I was supposed to work theorganization. Finance Management is the systematic and objective identification, collection, analysis,dissemination, and use of inform ation for the purpose of improving decision making related toidentification and solution of problems and opportunity Perception is the process, by which an indivi dual selects, organizes and interpretsinformation inputs to create a meaningful picture of the world around as To be a Master of Business Administration student i s a matter of pride because we are ina field, which help us to develop from a no rmal human being into a disciplined, and dedicated professional. One has to be a good learner to sharper knowledge in the particular field to achieveand attain the desired goals and heights. I analysis the financial position of TATA Motors andconducted a financial analysis of two of its competitors Mahindra & Mahindra and MarutiUdyog. To compare the standing TATA Motors vis--vis the industry . I used Balance Sheet,Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow and Fund Flow Statement, and Ratio Analysis.And I also conducted Customer Satisfaction Survey of TATA Motors in the MandiDistrict of Himachal Pradesh. I used research questionnaires as the research and data collectiontools. The responses were collected from 100 respond ents from various areas of Mandi.I had learned lot during my project on compare the standing TATA Motors vis--vis theindustry & customer satisfaction survey of T ATA Motors; I hope this will be helpful to find outfinancial standing of TATA Mo tors in automobile industry and satisfaction of consumer inMandi city.
