What and who is DZR? Simply put, DZR was born out of a passion for ridingnothing more, nothing less. Our path stems from a lifetime of riding the four corners of the world, passionately engaging in every discipline from dirt to pavement, and the thin lines between. Weve lived in many places and called a number of them home. It is with this nomadic lifestyle, and a dedication to product design and development that we introduced DZR. The concept of our shoes was born in the Swiss Alps and it is the answer to a simple needthat of balance in life both on and off the bike. Through exhaustive research, weve found SPD sneakers to be the solution for those who want to have a traditional, and comfortable riding experience, but dont want to walk around like theyre wearing clown shoes. This isnt to say that we dont love our clown shoes, nor is it to say that we dont spend a ridiculous amount of time wearing them. But a traditional performance bike shoe has its time and place, and neither of them should have to involve getting to work, a movie, or even to the store to find a perfect avocado.
