ASSIGNMENT PROPOSAL

1. TITLE OF REPORT
The Satisfaction Rate of Engineering Students towards MMUs Learning System

2. INTRODUCTION Education is a crucial and integral part in the lives of students and it is important to know the perception of students towards the learning systems which they are involved in. MMU is an example of an education institution in Malaysia that takes pride in its approach in providing education to its students. Their learning system involves the heavy use of multimedia as a medium to educate students but despite its modern approach in education promising to be more effective and efficient, there have been many changes to the overall system in recent years such as amendments to programme structures, course outlines, examination and grading system and so on which suggest that there may be shortcomings regarding the system employed in MMU after all. Additionally, students are known to voice out about encountering trouble with MMUs online system (MMLS, online registration, etc.) which is among the most essential parts of the universitys learning system. These issues will naturally affect the lives of some students which prompts a cause of concern regarding the effectiveness of MMUs learning system amongst students. It is therefore a matter of interest to assess whether students of MMU are satisfied with the learning system which the university exercises upon them.

3. OBJECTIVE(S)
This report aims to investigate how the various learning systems employed by MMU is accepted by its students and more importantly, whether they are satisfied with what is provided to them by the University. Their overall perception is evaluated based on their satisfaction over various areas of the universitys learning system such as programme structures, online systems, marking schemes and facilities among others.

4. METHODOLOGY
A questionnaire-based survey is the methodology employed to collect all the information needed for this report. The target audience for this survey are students from the Faculty of Engineering who are ideally in their Delta Year. This is to narrow down the demographics to a more specific group of individuals who are presumably suited as survey candidates considering the years under their belt as students of MMU.

QUESTIONNAIRE
This is a questionnaire targeted at engineering students of Multimedia University (MMU) to assess the satisfaction rate among students regarding the learning system employed by the university. This is conducted for the purpose of an academic survey and all information collected in this questionnaire will remain confidential. Your participation is highly appreciated.
