The Microcosmic Orbit Meditation

Place the Antahkarana symbol under the feet when doing this meditation. It is a modified form of the Taoist Microcosmic Orbit meditation. The microcosmic orbit is the circular pathway of energetic flow in the body, also known as the Circulation of the Light. The energetic points can be equated to the major chakras and this meditation is designed to open and clear the chakras, creating a clear pathway for higher frequency energies as they are brought into your system. It will allow these higher energies to be fully assimilated and prevent problems caused by too much energy in the head or other parts of the body. It will also purify and/or release from your system any negative energy you may have released that were stored within yourself or that you may have attracted. By circulating your energy, the negative energy is released from the chakras and may even be transformed as it passes through them. This happens automatically as you circulate it. 1. Hold your tongue to the roof of your mouth. Picture the Power symbol at the Navel Point and hold your attention there for about 30 seconds to several minutes. Following the points on the meditation chart, move to the next point down and do the same, proceeding down, around and up the back of the body along the spine to the top of the head then down the front of the body ending at the Navel Point. This will open and clear each chakra. 2. Then run white light around this circuit for several minutes or up to half an hour. Imagine it moving through each point. The circuit always begins at the Navel Point travels down the front and up the spine as this is the natural flow of energy throughout the circuit. The emphasis is on the dynamic flow and circulation of chi energy, so in this meditation the chakras themselves are not of major importance, considered only as the energy points within the overall microcosmic orbit.

Antahkarana An Ancient Healing Symbol

Alice Bailey and several other authors of Tibetan philosophy have some knowledge of the Antahkarana which you can find in a number of books. They describe the Antahkarana as a part of the spiritual anatomy. It is the connection between the physical brain and the Higher Self. It is this connection that must heal and develop if we are to develop spiritually. These Antahkarana symbols represent this connection and activates it whenever you are in its presence. The science of Radionics indicates that lines drawn on paper create a psychic effect on the space surrounding the drawing and will influence the human aura and chakras in various ways depending on the pattern created. This validates the age-old practice of yantra meditation, which makes use of visual images to purify and evolve the consciousness. How the Antahkarana Works The Antahkarana is an ancient healing and meditation symbol that has been used in Tibet and China for thousands of years. It is a powerful symbol and simply by having it in your presence, it will create a positive effect on the chakras and aura. When meditating with the symbol on your person or close by, it automatically creates what the Taoists call the Great Microcosmic Orbit. Wherein psychic energies enter the feet, travel up the back of the body to the top of the head, then down the front of the body to the feet, thus grounding the person to the earth and creating a continuous flow of energy through the chakras. It will also neutralize negative energy that has collected in objects such as jewelry or crystals, simply by placing the object between two symbols. When doing healing work, it focuses and deepens the actions of the healing energies involved. It enhances all healing work including Reiki, Polarity Therapy, Chiropractic, Hypnotherapy, Past Life Regression among others. Positive effects have been confirmed by those using the symbol and by clairvoyant observation by those trained in sensing changes in the aura and chakras. This symbol is multi-dimensional. From one perspective it appears to be two-dimensional, being made up of three sevens (7) on a flat surface. The three sevens represent the seven chakras, the seven colors and the seven tones of the musical scale. These three sevens are mentioned in the Book of Revelations as the seven candlesticks, the seven trumpets and the seven seals.

From another perspective, this symbol appears as a three-dimensional cube. Its energy moves up from two to three dimensions that can be seen and also continues up through unseen dimensions all the way to the highest dimension of the Higher Self. Historical Use Historically, the use of this symbol can be traced back through a number of Reiki Masters to an ancient Tibetan meditation technique. The few Tibetan meditation masters who knew of the symbol tended to keep it to themselves so that the increased value it created for their work would add to their status. For this reason, its use has not been widely known. The Tibetan meditation practice that used the Antahkarana took place in a room lit with candles. In the middle of the room was a large earthenware vessel shaped in an oval, which symbolized the cosmic egg of the universe. The vessel was filled with several inches of water and in the middle was a stool. On the seat of the stool was the Antahkarana symbol, inlaid in silver. One wall was covered with copper, polished to a mirror finish. Tapestries were hung on the opposite wall, which displayed Reiki symbols. A Tibetan lama meditator would sit on the stool and gaze steadily at the image of the Reiki symbol reflected in the polished copper mirror. This yantra meditation would create one-pointedness in the mind of the meditator, uniting the consciousness with the transcendental energies of the Reiki symbol while the Antahkarana symbol on the stool would focus the energies generated and cause them to evenly flow through all the chakras and to connect with the Earth. The Tibetans did not originate the symbol and there is no written record as to its true origin. However, through clairvoyant perception, Michelle Griffith, a talented clairvoyant, has been able to tune into the symbol and read its psychic history. According to Michelle, the symbol was first given to the people of Earth during Lemurian times over 100,000 years ago. This was the same time Reiki was first brought to Earth by the Holy Spirit. The Antahkarana was created by a council of Ascended Masters who are watching over the evolution of this galaxy. They saw that the people of Earth needed help in re-establishing their connection with the Higher Self. They created the symbol and using a decree, imbued it with its own consciousness. This healing symbol does not require an attunement. It is usually used in its printed form although some people do sign it our with the hand. Just by having it in your presence, it will enhance the healing power of any healing method. It will also improve meditation or any exercise designed to improve health, well-being or connection to the higher power. Using the Antahkarana for Meditation The Antahkarana is a special symbol with its own consciousness. There are several variations of the symbol. It works directly with your aura and chakras and varies its healing affect depending on what is needed at the time of use. Since it is directed by the Higher Self, it always has a beneficial effect and can never be misused or used to cause harm.

You can meditate directly on the Antahkarana by gazing steadily at it with your eyes relaxed and return your focus to it when any distracting thoughts come up. With continued practice the image may begin to shift and change or fade in and out, or it may disappear completely. You may even begin to see pictures in front of the image that are pleasant and relaxing. This is good because it indicates that you have entered a deeper level of meditation and are receiving the benefit of that. Do not allow this to disturb you and continue your steady, relaxed gaze. Meditation with the symbol is beneficial during times of stress. For regular use, set aside 10 to 30 minutes each day for meditation on the Antahkarana. The value you receive will develop along with your mental clarity and a sense of peace and security will stay with you throughout the day. Multiple Symbols The Single Antahkaranas: The large single symbol is more feminine in nature and creates its healing in a gentle way. The smaller symbol is more masculine and more direct, focused and penetrating. Both are used for focus, and becoming centered in the Higher Power. Use the male if you need more assertive energy. Use the female if you need more compassionate energy. The Sacred Cosmic Cross is also for this purpose and has a greater feeling of sacredness. Made up of seven symbols crossing each other, it represents the seven major chakras. This symbol will purify your energy and can also be used to open and heal the heart chakra. The square Multiple symbol is made up of sixteen symbols and is used to clear blocks and congestion, getting stuck energy moving. After using the multiple, use one of the single symbols as use of the multiple can sometimes cause disorientation and scatter your energy. Using the single will refocus ones energy. However, no harm can come from their use. The Antahkarana is not a secret symbol. You can hang it on the wall in your healing room, place it image up under your healing table etc. It does not need to be seen by the healee in order for it to work. Some have laminated them to make them more durable. The small one can be laminated and placed in your shoes, or taped over a chakra or other body area to improve healing, or can be carried in the pocket, purse or wallet etc. You can use the paper form or you can have the image silk screened onto cotton, wool or silk. Black or dark purple or any dark color works best as the power of the symbol seems to come from the contrast. Place the image facing the person or area to be healed. Then place your hands on top and do Reiki. This will reduce the time one needs to heal and allow deeper issues to be healed. William Rand drew the single versions out by hand in 1990. They were then scanned into the computer. I hope you enjoy the use of these healing symbols. May they fill you with joy and peace.
