16-bit, 250Msps dual DAC delivers -164dBFS/Hz noise density at 296mW

The MAX5875/MAX5878/MAX5895/MAX5898 families of 200/250/500/500Msps dual DACs deliver superior dynamic performance (noise spectral density, SFDR, IMD, ACLR) at very low power. Offered in 16-/14-/12-bit, pin-compatible versions with CMOS or LVDS inputs, these DACs provide options to optimize performance and cost. To simplify the FPGA interface and filter design, reduce system cost, and improve reliability, the MAX5898/MAX5895/MAX5894/MAX5893 integrate interpolation filters, which reduce the DAC input word rate and relax image-filter requirements. To further simplify design, this family integrates a digital quadrature modulator that enables both zero-IF and direct-IF transmit architectures.

High-speed, single/dual, direct IF-sampling ADCs simplify system design and reduce cost
The MAX12555MAX12553 single 14-bit ADCs are optimized for lower power and high dynamic performance in IF-sampling applications such as communications receivers, medical imaging, instrumentation, and data acquisition. For example, the MAX12555 delivers 72.1dB SNR at an input frequency of 175MHz while consuming only 497mW. These ADCs are capable of direct IF sampling up to 400MHz, which reduces design cost and complexity by eliminating downconversion stages. Pin-compatible 12-bit versions are offered for additional design flexibility. The MAX12559MAX12557 and MAX12529MAX12527 integrate two ADC channels into one package. These dual 14-/12-bit ADCs offer similar performance to the single ADCs, and are ideal for I/Q sampling or for main and diversity IF sampling.
