Advanced PPL Training Ultimate High Basic Wings

Includes: - Improved General Handling skills Max rate Level Turns, Max Rate Possible Turns, Emergency Breaks - Stalling revision and advanced stalling - Flight in and through controlled airspace - Emergencies Concentrated practice on PFLs and EFATOs, fuel, stuck throttle, engine mechanical failure & fire etc - Circuits and landings making them better - Introduction to Aerobatics - Variable Pitch Propeller Differences Training & signoff (if required) Entry requirements: valid JAR/CAA PPL and Class 2 medical. Most students will have flown at least 20 hours since PPL issue, but the course may be taken immediately after completion of a PPL. Besso Insurance offer a 5% discount on aircraft insurance to graduates of our Advanced PPL Training courses who pass the end of course flight test. A pass is not guaranteed. Students who successfully pass the test will receive a UHBW Badge and Certificate of Completion.

10 hours flying time, 15 hours ground training. Courses normally start on a Monday and continue through Friday/ Saturday. Due to busy schedules, we are unable to start new courses on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, except in the winter months.

Sortie 11 ULTIMATE HIGH BASIC WINGS TEST. This 1 hour flight is optional (at additional cost) please check first that your instructor considers you are ready for the test. Examination of pilot skill level standards are high. Passing this test shows that the pilot has a good level of General Handling Skill and will be able to operate competently and confidently in the UK VFR environment.
