Name of Post & Grade: Medical Officer-SC (`15600-39100/- + Grade Pay `5400/- + NPA)(for Mahendragiri Unit near Nagercoil in Tamil Nadu) 592 01 MBBS + 2 Years experience. Permanent registration from Medical Council of India.

Note: The number of posts indicated above are provisional and may vary depending on the actual requirement. GENERAL CONDITIONS 1) BE/B.Tech should be in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65%. ME/M.Tech should be in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60%. For Post No.592 (Medical Officer) MBBS Degree shall be in First Class. Candidates possessing Second Class Degree are also eligible to apply. However every effort will be made to recruit candidate possessing First Class Degree only. Rounding-off of marks not allowed. The posts are temporary but likely to continue indefinitely. Age limit as on 03.11.2011 is 35 years, but relaxable by 5 years in the case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and 3 years in the case of OBC candidates. Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are eligible for upper age relaxation as per Govt. of India rules. Children/family members of those who died in the riots of 1984 will be given preference in recruitment by giving necessary age relaxation as applicable.

For Post No. 588 & 589, one vacancy each is for Satish Dhawan Space Centre, SDSC, SHAR, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh and the other vacancies are for LPSC, but the selected candidates are liable to be posted in any of the Centres or Units of ISRO or Department of Space situated anywhere in India as and when required.
