Yukon Learning Launches Rapid Course

Richmond, VA, November 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Yukon Learning announces the launch of RapidCourse, an innovative e-Learning service where e-Learning developers can shop an online library of courses and when ready, Buy the Course and Get the Source. RapidCourse will be unveiled at the e-Learning Guild's DevLearn Conference, November 2-3 in Las Vegas. "We are excited about launching Rapid Course at DevLearn," says company President and CEO, Chris Ayers. "DevLearn is a big time conference and Rapid Course is going to be a big time product." With Rapid Course, e-Learning Developers can shop an online library of courses and then purchase the ones they want, in much the same way that they can do today with other online training libraries. But there are differences between Rapid Course and other online learning products. All the courses can be used for an unlimited number of learners for an unlimited amount of time. There are no per seat or annual fees with Rapid Course. But what really makes Rapid Course unique is that when a course is purchased, the download includes not only the published course files but also the Articulate Presenter, Quizmaker, and Engage source files used to build the course. Since they get all the source files, developers can quickly customize the course to meet the unique needs of their learners. Courses are currently available for topics such as Sales, Communication, Negotiation Skills, Personal Development, and Coaching. The universal nature of the courses we build for Rapid Course allows our customers to leverage their investment over a larger audience, says Brooke Schepker, Senior VP with Yukon Learning. And with no per learner fees, we help our customers protect their investment. Over the next year, the company plans to introduce at least 100 new courses including content provided by Content Partners in areas such as Project Management, Safety, Finance, Compliance, Teamwork, Customer Service Skills, and Managed Care. The launch of Articulate's Storyline product later this year will also trigger some exciting new developments for Rapid Course, says Schepker. Developers will be able to choose the Storyline format for their course files and we will offer a new series of scenario-based learning courses built using the power of Storyline.
