During a 9 month period, I managed 7 RF manufacturing projects that were delivered on time and within cost from receipt of order to MRR to delivery and managed 3 development projects in various stages with constantly changing priorities. This included primary customer contact, contract review/flow down, reprioritizing, schedule creation, conducting kick off, PDR, CDR, MRR, managing procurement, manufacturing and testing, tracking schedule/financials, and providing customer communication and status. As the Program Manager with full accountability and primary customer contact, we provided on time deliveries with company and customer cost savings, achieved within 12 months for budgets of $5M$10M. This included a shipboard sensor tracking and response system. Customer satisfaction. I provided new proposal input and review, requirement breakdown and traceability, accuracy to customer requirements/product baseline and conducted testing. A satisfied customer provided positive comments for coordination, timely effort and open communication. Problem solver. I assisted a vendor (subcontractor) to resolve technical product issues by on site review of complex technical data and process methods for several weeks to resolve issues. I provided the DOD customer with progress presentations, reports and technical updates for this critical program component and provided on time delivery of the final product by the end of that year. Process improver and team player. I helped reduce processing time and achieve cost savings of over $100k. I received several achievement awards for the team improvements and one from the joint company partner for engineering document workflow, process and change control improvements. o Over 10 years in the program office and over 20 years in engineering. Experience in system engineering and complex systems/subsystems experience, including communications, tactical data link, RF amplifiers, RF transmitter/receivers, RADAR interfaces, shipboard systems, microelectronics electronic and electrical components, PWB production, optical, electro-mechanical and life cycle support experience. Professional Competencies: status presentations, customer interface and communication, proposals/budgets/pricing, scheduling, requirement and risk management, alternatives and recovery plans, test supervision, contract negotiations, product development, transition to production and manufacturing management. ISO 9000/9001 and CMMI background, systems engineering and circuit design experience.
