This figure shows the basic construction of the Bridgestone Off-The-Road bias tire. This type of basic tire in any pattern consists of a carcass, tough bead wires, and breakers, and is designed to exhibit maximum performance. Note that the internal construction thickness of rubber, etc., of bias tires are different depending on the size, pattern and ply rating of the tire.

RLS The RLSs deep tread is designed for operating on rock, coal and earth surfaces where serviceability and tread cutting are problems. Its specially-compounded rubber resists cutting and overheating. ELS2 The ELS2 features a deep tread designed for operating on rock, coal and earth where serviceability and cutting are big problems. Specially-compounded rubber effectively resists cutting and wearing.

The ALs unique tread pattern, ideal for use in the desert and on soft ground, offers maximum flotation with minimum resistance to rolling.

The SCP2s wide, round-shoulder design with straight ribs provides even tread wear for long serviceability, and remarkable flotation and traction on soft, loose sand. Its durable casing withstands the punishment of not only highway use, but also low-inflation-pressure operation on sand.

Specially designed for straddle carriers, the YS2 delivers excellent wear resistance for long serviceability as well as good traction and braking. Wear indicators inserted around the treads circumference allow for easy measuring of the tread depth in any position.

The RL is standard tread depth and is applicable to wide range of industrial type machines, especially the slow wearing type, such as rubber tired gantry crane (RTG).

The RLSs deep tread is suitable for empty container handler. The features are long tread life, thanks to extra-deep tread. The unique rubber compound resists cutting and wearing on smooth surface.

Extra-deep tread corresponding to E4.5 is the main feature of ELS2, which ensures a longer tread life. Industrial use of ELS2 is suitable for container handling equipment such as loaded container handlers (reach stacker), notorious for being the most severe condition for tire wearing.

The STMSs smooth extra-deep tread is suitable for empty and loaded container handlers, especially abrasive concrete surface. The main features are extra-long tread life and best riding comfort due to extra-deep and smooth tread design.

The TGS features extra-tread with steel breakers to prevent puncturing, and excellent flotation and selfcleaning of mud between lugs.
