Title: Manager- Project Acquisition

Department: Business Development

Core Responsibilities:
ncumbent will be responsible to implement the expansion plan of the organization by identifying new
hydropower/hydel proj ects for Acquisition.

Operational Efficiencies
- Networking with State and Central Government for opportunities in Hydel projects.

- Work closely with the Engineering and Project Finance team in evaluation of the identified projects, conducting
due diligence and obtain project clearances

- Work towards preparing detailed project reports and feasibility reports

- mplement smooth management of regulatory affairs and ensure all statutory compliances are adhered to

- Constantly interface with teams from finance, legal, Government relations and other departments to ensure
effective information flows for the proposed investment

- Conduct due diligence exercises & ensure weaving of Govt. Policies, with respect to regulation of Hydel power,
into the Company's business plan

- Undertake quality and commercial reviews of tender documents and make appropriate suggestions to bid teams
on development of term sheets and investment memorandum.

- Provide inputs in the presentation of the proposal to the investment committee for funding approval, definitive
agreements closing and closing of other issues for proposed takeover projects

- Provide coaching, direction and support to team members in order to achieve business results

- Responsible for the management of team personnel which includes performance management and competency
building activities

- Contribute positively to ensure team output is superior to individual output

CEMENT
Jaypee group is the 4th largest cement producer in the country. t produces Ordinary Portland Cement and
Pozzolana Portland Cement under the brand names "Buland and "Buniyad. ts Cement Division currently
operates modern, computerized process control cement plants with an aggregate capacity of 7.0 MTPA. The
company is in the midst of capacity expansion of its cement business in Northern, Central and Western parts of
the country and is slated to be a 25 MTPA cement producer by the year 2010 and 30.5 MTPA by 2011 with

Project. The Transmission Project will consist of a 230 km long transmission line between Wangtoo in Himachal
