Let Go, Reach and Press by Darla J Winn Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your

need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. His riches are your riches. You and He are cosigners on the account. Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Reaching forth is active. Its a sign you are hungry for more. You are pointed in the right direction, the direction of the supply. To the measure you look back is measure you miss God. You reach forth - pressing toward the mark (the supply). Anything that belongs to you, you have to press into. God is not withholding it but there will be hindrances by enemy. The reach of faith is your words. God is saying reach forth with your words and they come to Me. This is a very active thing on our part. We must constantly keep pressure on the supply or itll never manifest. Our approach to need is I am rich. (II Corinthians 8:9) When you renew your mind to Im rich it will stop the struggle. There will no longer be a struggle! Approach your need from your position of who you are, not from the position of needing something. Sadly, when crises hits some people quit reaching. If you quit reaching you forfeit things. You must show up for the game. The birds get out of their nest move about looking for supply - they know its out there, so they go gather everyday. We must go gather! We may even gather what others did not show up (for church) to gather. Showing up for church is a part of your reach. You are reaching for a supply of wisdom and revelation. When Aimee Semple Mcpherson began to build Angelus Temple she only had $5,000.00. She ask the builder what that amount would do. He told her it would dig a hole. She said, Okay you dig and God

will fill it. What was she doing? She was reaching. She would go gather and then bring it and do as much as the amount would do. She did that until it was finished. She did not allow her situation, of not having all the money at one time, to set her pace. She reached and pressed and arrived. No doubt she had great opposition come against her with great pressure but she pressed against the supply right through that which was pressing against her. To the degree of the supply youre pressing toward, is to the degree of pressure there will be coming back. Keep the pressure on the supply and the opposition will to move. Those who shun pressure wont have much. If you dont want much you cant give much. We are blessed to be a blessing Genesis 12:3. God will stretch your faith on your personal life to get you ready for ministry needs that will arise. The devil knows your pressure points and will press but that is not a negative, its an opportunity to BE THE PRESSURE. Some people avoid pressure because theyve forgotten theyve been made rich. A bad economy should not set your pace for God. Supply will keep pace with the need. As quick as you create a need, you will have a supply. Need qualifies you for the supply. Go ahead and give what God is telling you to give. Giving by faith is reaching for your supply. Phil 3:12-14, Phil 4:19. When you feel great pressure, turn that pressure back on the supply. Say something and take the pressure of yourself. No devil, I say I have more than enough until the end of the month. Because I am rich I have more than enough to pay my mortgage, etc. Back in the 50s or 60s Dad Hagin was offered a house that he felt led to buy. He said to the owner, I can have $1,000.00 in 30 days will that be okay? The man agreed. When he said that he instantly was hit by all kinds of thoughts of doubt and unbelief. Wondering where he would get the money. As he was looking throughout the house dealing with the man, he continued to say to him, Ill have a $1,000.00 in 30 days. What was he doing? He was applying WORD pressure right back. In 28 days he got a call from a sister from church who told him that God was leading her to give him $1,000.00. When you see a big semi truck hauling a large load, its amazing how the tires hold up under all that pressure. The pressure in the tires

press back allowing the truck to transport. Pressure is not a negative. In the situation with tires, they have within them the right pressure. In a sense the tires are the pressure not the truck or the load. The greatest power here is the tires not the truck. We need to direct the pressure rightly as does the tires. If you follow your budget, youll never have anything. If you follow the Word and the Spirit, let go, reach, and press youll have it all. God will put something in your heart years in advance. Why? To get you reaching, so when the time comes it will be just one last hard press and youll be in your supply. When one lady was asked why she hadnt built her dream house she replied, If I build my dream house what would have to dream about. Obviously she is one who shuns pressing. Let go of the past, the days of not enough, the days of just enough and reach and press into where God wants you, your rightful place of supply and blessing. There is so much more out in front of you than behind you. YOUVE BEEN MADE RICH!!!!
