a

birth of the project

in december of 2005. four members of our organization (okis - youth service in

omansag area ) participated in a partner finder seminar (www.exchange-seminar.de
<http://www.exchange-seminar.de>) in ottlers (germany), where youth organizations
represented more than 10 country. we were invited by an organization from magdeburg
called lkj. the condition of the participate was showing at least 1 project idea. that was no
problem for us, becasuse our organizatiosn's profile is youth community development in
social disadvantaged area with lot of small villages (ormansag), what we can do with
mobile youth information service (inf@rmansag), implementation of workshops for youth
on project development, youth work, programme organization. so we were looking for
partners for a seminar, what's planned topic were: methods and experiences of the
mobile youth information service.

we think that we have some experiences in this area, but till now we haven't got
opportunity for an international comparison. we believed that someone not only
wondered about the town's problems, but youth people's life in countryside and working
with them.

in spite of that,we had got unexpectedly high number of candidates. in the first place
were the organisation's, what had almost the same profile. we can emphasize the french
partners, who would like to do a similar project. their aim is enlarging the volunteers's
and experts's knowledge, who work in small villages with the youth.
b, preparation, finding partners

already at the seminar (in ottersleben) succeeded almost the total

partner sunder - sunder and at the same time also harmonize and unravel
the main points. during this, the original idea changed : we realized , that the
programme can only functionate , if we spent enough time to explorate
hungarian disadvantageous young’s specific situation , since our partners
mostly haven’t got any realizations with what type of problems , on what
area will they encounter.
after that also soon emerged , that a week almost nothing nor enough
, if we want to spend all the time reviewing and discussing the ten
participant country’s situations particularly .therefore we agreed to, that here
will be the main topics primarily our experiences , the community development
trainings (leaded by us) , and the youth mobil informational serving
operations. after that sudden broached, that at the next poject in france, we
could continue the topic (as the resident organization offered), broadly that's
where , in hungary discontinued. therefore every one of us straight
succeeded , that we should the meeting do periodically , therefore we took
it’s discuss the new aim of hungarian programme.
after arrive home, assembed the team , which that fall got four
members , and we described the plan for everyone. , that everyone
accepted with enthusiasm , those who already participated something like
that , because they knew , that what would they do , the new members
because since they didn’t. we sent the particular programme cilcularly after
the homecoming , therefore the interest of the project did not get languid
and we got every partner statements on time .
c, aims

the project’s main aim ,to call the attention those the methods , which can
make help the volunteers and experts, who work in small villages with the youth
our additional target is creating an international formal , or informal
network between same specialties youthworkersl , that helps exchanging of
working methods and developing new methods. all this of course result in
making new and qualitative projects., which help us to raise the youth
work’s standards in hungary and at our co-operator partners.
we expect developing the attendance’s technical competence , and
the foreign young experts can make more colourful our ara’s life. therefore
we planned the first part of programme to pécs , where the attendance
become acquainted with the institutional background of youth work , then
the second part were planned to load in ormansag area, where they can meet
with the local youngs , so they can understand the difference between an
urban , and a villager young.
we also expect , that the local young people swow interests for the
international youth work influenced by the project, will increase their
horizons and their motivation.

d, the profit of the project

the young experts will get the main profit of the project, because they
will have opportunity to compare the methods using or reforming this
methods they can make their most useful collection of methods.
our volunteers can get multiple eperiences, because they usually do
the daily jobs, help to organize the programme, and during the prgramme
they can meet with the foreigner organization’s activities.
those people or experts can also enjoy the advantages of the project,
who will just read the publications of the project, because it is an important
aim to make the results available for everybody. forethere we will also
publish the publications in english.
further advantages can enjoy the local young people , because after
the project we will have more experiences to work with them.
