Race
Race
is the division of human kind with having a distinct characteristics.(according to Dictionary) is classification of humans into large and distinct populations or groups by factors such as heritable phenotypic characteristics or geographic ancestry, but also often influenced by and correlated with traits such as appearance, culture, ethnicity, and socio-economic status.(according to Wikipedia).

Therefore Race is the perceived distinction of human kind, their similarities in some way, how we are divided, and that is perpetuated for ever. In biological sense, race is a distinction of a group of human having the same skin color, facial characteristic, height and language. And in scientific category, race is base on common genes. In the Philippines, we have different races, as well as different kinds of ethnic group, and they differ in some ways like in their skin color, the shape of their faces nose and eyes, their culture and belief. But with all of this differences we all consider them as Filipinos, because the fact that we are all living in the same country. But what is the true color of a Filipino? As the history said, we are naturally kayumangi in color and we have a flat nose or what they called pango, but as the time go by we have a lot of visitor in our country and they influence our biological features, and thats why there were white and black Filipino. Even though we have this kind of discrimination between being white and dark, we still endure the same culture and practice the same belief. Races can ne the base description of a certain human. You can easily classify were he belong and origin by means of the race he belongs. Thats why in identifying human remains in the past, the anthropologist easily classify them base on their race and origin.

Races and Ethnicity

Ethnicity-is a group of people whose members identify with each other, through a common heritage, often consisting of a common language, a common culture (often including a shared religion) and/or an ideology that stresses common ancestry or endogamy. Therefore race is like ethnicity in general. It is having the same culture and wellbeing of a certain population. It is their distinction and description; it is how they are known. The habits and belief are inherited. Though race is base on characterizes like relates to a
person's appearance - chiefly the color of their skin. It is determined biologically, with genetic traits such as skin color, eye color, hair color, bone jaw structure and ethnicity on the other hand, relates to cultural factors such as nationality, culture, ancestry, language and beliefs.
