For nearly 7000 years, the high elves cultivated a shining, magical kingdom hidden deep within the forests of Northern Lordaeron, but 5 years ago, the Undead Scourge invaded Quel'Thalas and drove the elves to the brink of extinction. Lead by the evil Death Knight, Arthas, the Scourge destroyed the mystical Sunwell, thereby severing the elves from the source of their arcane power. Though the scars of that conflict are evident, the remaining elves have banded together and retaken much of their homeland. Calling themselves Blood Elves, these grim survivors are committed to regain the vast powers they once commanded. Inspired by the leadership of their beloved prince, Kael'thas Sunstrider, the Blood Elves now seek new sources of arcane power and the means of defending their land against the undying horrors of the Scourge. As one of the few surviving Blood Elves, you must master your thirst for magic, and help shape the destiny of your people. Goblin Racial Power

The wily, cunning Goblins of Kezan have lived in relative peace for generations. Though some of their race sided with the marauding Orcs during the Second War, most Goblins have remained neutral throughout the various conflicts between the Alliance and Horde. Ruled over by corrupt, yet highly affluent Trade Princes, the Goblins created a virtual paradise for themselves throughout the islands of the South Seas. Their ingenious feats of engineering and vast trade fleets helped make their island capital of Kezan one of the great technological wonders of the world. But now, as the elements themselves rise up in anger across the world, the Goblin's mechanical paradise will be put to the test. Forsaken

Former servants of the Lich King, the forsaken are undead humanoids who seek to eliminate all those who would stand in their way. RACIAL TRAITS Average Height: 53 - 6 Average Weight: 115 - 170 lbs. Will of the Forsaken: You gain a +1 racial bonus to your Will defense. In addition, you gain a +2 racial bonus to saving throws against fear and charm effects. Bound to the iron will of the tyrant Lich King, the vast undead armies of the Scourge seek to eradicate all life on Azeroth. Lead by the banshee Sylvanas Windrunner, a group of renegades broke away from the Scourge and freed themselves from the Lich King's domination. Known by some as the Forsaken, this group fights a constant battle not only to retain its freedom from the Scourge, but also to slaughter those who would hunt them as monsters. With Sylvanas as their Banshee Queen, the Forsaken have built a dark stronghold beneath the ruins of Lordaeron's former capital city. This hidden Undercity forms a sprawling labyrinth that stretches beneath the haunted woods of the Tirisfal Glades. Though the very land is cursed, the zealous humans of the Scarlet Crusade still cling to their scattered holdings, obsessed with eradicating the undead, and retaking their homeland. Convinced that the primitive races of the Horde can help them achieve victory over their enemies, the Forsaken have entered an alliance of convenience. Harboring no true loyalty to their new allies, they will go to any lengths to ensure their dark plans come into fruition. As one of the Forsaken, you must massacre anyone who poses a threat to the order. Human, undead, or otherwise. Play a forsaken if you want to be on the fringes of society. to be an undead being.

Orc

Ability Scores: +2 Strength, +2 Charisma or Dexterity Size: Medium Speed: 6 squares Vision: Normal Languages: Orcish Skill Bonuses: +2 Athletics, +2 Intimidate Blood Rage: When your target is bloodied, you gain a +1 racial bonus to damage rolls. Axe Specialization: You gain the Axe Expertise feat. Hardiness: You gain a +2 racial bonus to saving throws against death and +4 racial bonus while being stunned. Orc Racial Power

Long ago, the Orcish Horde was corrupted by the Burning Legion, and lured to the world of Azeroth. For generations, the Orcs played war upon the Human kingdoms of Stormwind and Lordaeron. Though the orcs were ultimately defeated, a visionary, young Warchief named Thrall rose to lead his people in their darkest hour. Under Thrall's rule, the orcs freed themselves of the chains of demonic corruption and embraced their shamanistic heritage. After years of wandering, the Orcs founded their own kingdom in the harsh wastelands of Durotar. Based in the warrior city of Ogrimmar, they stand ready to destroy all who would challenge their supremacy. As a proud defender of Durotar, it is your duty to crush your enemies both seen and unseen, for the nefarious agents of the Burning Legion still wander the land. Play an orc if you want to be savage, merciless, and cynical. to possess a boundless hardiness.

Tauren

Among one of the strongest races, the tauren are much like the minotaurs, but more peaceful and druidic in nature. RACIAL TRAITS Average Height: 63 - 7 Average Weight: 250 - 320 lbs. Ability Scores: +2 Wisdom, +2 Strength or Constitution Size: Medium Speed: 6 squares Vision: Normal Languages: Common, Taur-ahe Skill Bonuses: +2 Endurance, +2 Nature Great Resilience: You gain two extra healing surges. Endurance: Your healing surge value is equal to one-quarter your hit points + your Wisdom modifier. War Stomp: You may use war stomp as an encounter power.

Once a nomadic people, the Tauren roamed the planes of the Barrens hunting the mighty Kodo. Scattered across the land, the wandering tribes were united only by their common hatred for their sworn enemy, the marauding Centaur. Seeking aid against the Centaur, the great Chieftan Cairne Bloodhoof befriended the savage Orcs who had recently journeyed to Kalimdor. With the Orcs' help, Cairne and his tribe were able to drive back the Centaur and claim the grasslands of Mulgore for their own. Up on the windswept mesa of Thunder Bluff, Cairne built a refuge for his people. Over time the scattered tribes united under a single banner. Though the noble Tauren are peaceful in nature, the rites of the great hunt are venerated as the heart of their spiritual culture. As a tribesman of Mulgore, you must test your skills in the wild and prove yourself in the great hunt. Play a tauren if you want to have a connection to the forces of nature. to be strong and hardy, both of body and spirit.

Increase damage to 2d6 + Primary modifier at 11th level, and 3d6 + Primary modifier at 21st level.

Troll

Tribal warriors and prone to anger, the trolls are dangerous and difficult to understand. RACIAL TRAITS Average Height: 62 - 610 Average Weight: 180 - 260 lbs. Ability Scores: +2 Wisdom, +2 Dexterity or Intelligence Size: Medium Speed: 6 squares Vision: Normal Languages: Orcish, Troll Skill Bonuses: +2 Religion, +2 Perception Da Voodoo Shuffle: If you are immobilized or slowed, you may make a saving throw to end the effect as an immediate reaction. Regeneration: Once per round while in combat, regenerate three hit points. Berserk Rage: You may use berserker rage as an encounter power.

Driven to a state of instinct, you unleash the recklessness inside. Encounter Weapon, Implement Minor Action Personal Effect: You gain a +2 bonus to speed and attack rolls until the end of your next turn. Special: If you are bloodied, increase the bonus to +4.

The vicious trolls that populate the numerous jungle islands of the South Seas. are renown for their cruelty and dark mysticism. Barbarous and superstitious, they carry a seething hatred for all other races. Long since exiled from its ancestral homeland of Stranglethorn Vale, the Darkspear Tribe was nearly destroyed by rampaging Murlocs. Rescued by the young Warchief Thrall and his orcish warriors, the Darkspear Tribe swore allegiance to the Horde. Lead by the cunning Shadow Hunter Vol'jin, the Darkspears now make their home in Durotar along with their orcish allies. As one of the only surviving Darkspears, it falls to you to reclaim the glory of your tribe. Play a troll if you want to be straight trippin. to be fast, powerful, and tough.
