WELCOME!
Hi guys and welcome to the first ever 7126 Monthly, the monthly magazine covering PFF’s greatest game-
7126. It is perhaps quite apt that the first issue arrives at the end at what has been a successful second
season for 7126.

Season 1 saw a number of managers drop out or lose interest in the game and so nothing special was
expected of season 2. However, as the season progressed the forums became more active and more people
started to take notice of 7126 again. A very strong bidding market as a result of unmanaged teams has also
made the game more accessible to managers teams that would be expected to struggle.

As season 3 approaches, managers will have to be more and more shrewd with their dealings with more
managers joining the game, but this can only be of benefit to us all in the long run. This issue is a
celebration of the achievements of not only those who won something this season but also the game as a
whole.

Hope you enjoy the first issue and all the best for the new season.

THRILLER Juve players celebrate their 3-2 victory at the final whistle

Juventus came from a goal behind to claim a stunning 3-2

SC CUP FINAL-TURN 21 victory in the SC Cup final against Atletico Madrid.

The press attention surrounding the game throughout the

week all suggested a win for Marc Hopkins’ Juve side, but it

The free kick that followed was taken by Gronkjaer who
found Delgado on the edge of the box-he skillfully volleyed it
towards Rooney who volleyed it past a bewildered Cool for a
stunning strike.

game off through the energetic Delgado. Good work again by
Gattuso found Rooney out wide, and his excellent cross found
Delgado on the volley to make it 3-1. The hard working Mi-
lan Baros provided a tense finish, winning and scoring a pen-
alty at the death, but it was Juve got the result their
performance thoroughly deserved.
 ROMA WIN DIVSION
ONE TITLE IN STYLE
Stewart Gofford’s Roma side clinched their first Divi-
sion 1 title after a sensational unbeaten season.

The Italian giants started the season as dark horses, but

have finished as worthy champions. Bayern Munich who
were expected to walk away with the league, but the de-
parture of manager Paul Whittle had a devastating effect
on Munich and their gap at the top was soon eaten away
as Roma took full advantage.

In the end the title never looked in doubt, with the ap-
pointment of experienced manager Neil Hawkins coming
too late for Bayern to make a fightback. Roma finished 6
points clear of 2nd place and all credit has to go to Gof-
ford for sustaining an unbeaten season despite the
strength of the top league.

The Italian Football Association hope that the success,

along with the national side’s World Cup victory last
year will go someway to mending the damage that has
been done to the national game in Italy over the last year.

CORINTHIANS HAVE WEDNESDAY UP AFTER

Jon Forman was full of praise for his Cor-
inthians side as they secured the Division 2
title to make it successive promotions, but
warned that they need to be prepared for a
more difficult season in Division 1.
Corinthians fought off a late challenge from
Sheffield United to deservedly clinch the title
after a 3-2 away victory at Blackburn but For-
man made it clear when speaking to journalists
post-match that his side would be up for the
battle next season against a higher class of op-

RECORD SEASON
Sheffield Wednesday made it to Division 2 in
style after setting a 7126 record points haul of
58 and staying the whole season unbeaten.
Pete Evans’ side put behind the misery of their
playoff final defeat to Sheffield United last season
in the best possible fashion by romping home in
Division 3. As well as achieving a massive 58
points, Wednesday also only conceded 11 goals all
season-one every two matches.
The Owls capped off a great season with a 3-2
home victory against Rangers, with Mora (2) and
on loan Fred getting the goals.

CELEBRATE
DOUBLE
Daniel Beever’s Sheffield United side celebrated an
unprecedented double after winning both the DC and
CT Cups this season.

The triumph has delighted Blades fans who were

focusing primarily on a good season in Division 2,
where notably, United finished a close second behind
Corinthians. United beat Bayern Munich 2-1 in the DC
Cup final replay, and also went to a replay against Ju-
ventus, running out 1-0 winners.
