Job vacancy Education officers currently working with the Malaysian Government Civil Service are invited to apply to fill up the vacancies for the academic positions as PPPS Grade DG41/DG44/DG48/DG52 lecturers at their current/equivalent or higher grades in Matriculation Colleges. Terms and Conditions For the positions of PPPS Grade DG41/DG44/DG48/DG52 lecturers, applicants have to be already confirmed in their positions and have to be appointed on or before 31.12.2006 with:a. Academic Qualifications A Bachelor Degree with a major or specialisation in the related course/field/subject applied and is able to teach at a higher level equivalent to Matriculation, A Level and STPM levels. b. Professional Qualifications i) A Diploma in Education from recognised Universities or Teachers Training Certificate/Diploma from Teachers Training Colleges/Institutes;and Teaching experience in the specialised area/field/subject as PPPS Grade DG41/DG44/DG48/DG52 teacher for a minimum of at least 3 consecutive years.

c. Terms of Appointment All general and specific terms and conditions for appointments to these positions are stipulated in Appendix C. 3. Key Job Responsibilities Area of Specifications/ Main Duties and

Some of the main duties and responsibilities or key job area of specifications for a lecturer include:i) Giving lectures in the related area/field/subject as stipulated; ii) Giving tutorials stipulated; in the related area/field/subject as

Being a mentor lecturer for a group of students; Administering and evaluating students course works and assignments; Constructing questions and marking examination answer scripts;

Being a mentor for own peer/colleague in teaching and learning practices; Undertaking researches and academic writing; and Carrying out other duties, tasks and responsibilities deemed necessary and as directed by the Director, Deputy Director, Head of Department and Head of Unit from time to time

How to Apply Application must be made by: i) Downloading and printing out this forms; PKM from this website http://www.moe.gov.my/bmkpm ; ii) Forms that have been filled and completed must be certified by the applicants Head of Department before submitting to Matriculation Division.

Documents required Applications must be submitted together with these documents:i) 1 copy of Service Record/Statement (Kenyataan Perkhidmatan-BRP), updated and certified; ii) 1 certified copy of the applicants Annual Performance Report (Laporan Prestasi Tahunan) for the last three (3) consecutive years; iii) Copies of certified Certificates/Diploma/Degree and other related documents; iv) 1 certified copy of the Verification for the applicants Asset Declaration Report (Not the Asset Declaration Report Form)- (Pengesahan Laporan Pengistiharan Harta) 1 certified copy of the applicants Disciplinary Statement (laporan Kenyataan Tatatertib); and I certified copy of the latest PTK Result Slip (Peperiksaan Tahap Kecekapan).
