The Kahtina Robes Offering Ceremony at Vezayantar Kyaung

Dear Dhamma Friends,

Theravda Buddhist Association of America (TBAA) cordially invites you, your family, relatives and
friends to our Ceremony of Offering meals and Kathina Robes to the venerable monks who resided for the
Vsa at Vezayantar Kyaung.

The Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony is a k-la d-na that occurs only once in a year. The robe is donated
not to a specific monk, but intended towards the Sangh, so it is a Sanghika d-na.

The Kathina Robe donors will accrue the following five benefits:
Being able to travel anywhere one wishes without restriction
Being able to get provisions wherever one gets to without having to carry them
Being free from danger of poisons and weapons
Being able to enjoy things as one desires
Being protected from confiscation by government bodies or from theft or robbery.

Thus, we urge you not to miss this once-a-year only opportunity of attending this joyous Kathina Robe Of-
fering Ceremony at Vezayantar Kyaung.
