What is the health condition of present youngsters ? The health condition of present youngsters are affected with fatigue; poor eyesight, and poor memory and concentration. Many people, the elderly as well as youth, are suffering from arthritis, kidney stones, nervous problems, blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, heart problems and group of other diseases 5. What are the five factors to avoid pain & diseases? The five factors such as Food, Work, Rest, Sexual gratification and use of Thought force must be streamlined in order to keep perfect immune system to avoid pain and diseases. 6. Which exercise will help to cure diabetes? Makarasanam Part B 1. The human body is formed by five elements Explain? The human body is a complicated structure consisting of five elements Solid, Liquid, Heat, Air and Akash which are normally blended in a right proportion. These five elements function as five layers in the human body namely:(1) SOLID - Physical body consisting of innumerable cells..

2 (2) LIQUID - Blood, and lymphatic fluid forming the liquid section. (3) HEAT - Heat is produced by conversion of electrical energy through nerves. (4) AIR - Air supplies oxygen and clears the carbon dioxide from the system. (5) ENERGY - Energy is due to millions of the smallest energy particles called Akash or Life-force that is in constant circulation. 1. Exercises are also a part of yoga to prevent mal- circulation of blood, air & magnetic force in the body explain? The three elements (Blood, Air and Heat) should be maintained in sufficient quantity and of good quality. This can be achieved by carefully regulating the food habits, sexual indulgence, work, rest and use of thought force. Only when the harmony between body and life force is maintained, mind will be able to work properly For maintenance of health, first one has to observe some regulations in his daily activities and enjoyments. most of us are doing lesser physical work and more mental work at office. . By this culture, blood circulation and other circulations may be affected. It is essential to regulate the circulations by proper exercises. So exercises are also a part of yoga to prevent mal- circulation of Blood ,Air and Heat and magnetic force in the body. . 2. Explain the benefits of simplified physical exercises?
Physical exercises help to maintain the regulation in blood, heat and air circulations between the body and life energy.

Legs are strengthened Blood circulation gets regulated in all parts of the abdomens. Students are benefited in their studies due to increase in absorting capacity retention capacity and recalling capacity . Sinus problems are cured Internal organs and abdominal muscles are strengthened. It helps to cure the hearing problems Acu-pressure reduces blood pressure. Provides the required tranquility to the soul to reach the state of realization Flexibility in the body at all age is maintained Self confidence, success in life and more importantly peace and happiness become a possibility to all Respiratory system, blood circulation system digestive system and nervous system functions normally. Keep the hands relaxed with palms facing up .Now start relaxing the body from the feet upwards. Relax all the ten parts of the body one by one as given below. Feet, Legs, Knees, Thighs, Hip , Stomach, Chest, Hands, Neck, Head. STEP:2 1. Think of your feet and start relaxing. While relaxing, give this auto-suggestion: "My feet are relaxed; Blood-circulation is good; heat-circulation is good; air-circulation is good; life-force circulation is good and magnetic energy circulation is good. I am getting sufficient strength in my feet. Let them take rest. The feet are relaxing. Relax, Relax, Relax." NOTE : This should be repeated as you relax the other parts of the body mentioned below, by substituting the particular part as "legs", 'thighs", "stomach", etc. 2.Next relax the legs (calf-muscles). 3. Relax the knees. 4. Relax the thighs. 5. Relax the abdomen. 6. Relax the stomach. 7. Relax the chest. 8. Relax the shoulder and arms. 9. Relax the neck. 10.Finally relax the head and face. Then, think of each part from the head down to the feet, making sure all parts are relaxed.
That is The head is relaxed. The neck is relaxed. The shoulders and arms are relaxed. The chest is relaxed. The stomach is relaxed. The abdomen is relaxed. The thighs are relaxed. The knees are relaxed. The calf muscles are relaxed. The feet are relaxed.

STEP:3 "The whole body is completely relaxed.

Keep the eyes gently closed. Think only of the breath going in and out. "Lie in this position for 10 minutes."

This relaxation can be done at the end of the exercises. If you feel sleepy at the close of this exercise, you may sleep for a few minutes.

5 UNIT - II

ART OF NURTURING LIFE FORCE AND MIND

Part A 1. What is life force ? Billions and billions of formative dust particles, form this Astral body, each particle has a self rotating motion and functions individually. These particles are responsible for the movement of the body. Association of formative dust particles form the fundamental energy particles called vethons. Millions of such vethons circulate throughout the body which is called life- force 2. What is kaya kalpa? The term "Kaya" means "body" and "Kalpa" denotes "immortal. The science of Kaya kalpa a explains the manner in which the human body can be immortalized. Kaya Kalpa yoga is a simple exercise to tone up the nerves and recycle the sexual vital fluid by taking it back and storing it at the place of origin viz., the brain. By Vethathiri Maharishis Kaya Kalpa .

3. What are three fold objectives of kaya kalpa? 1. Slowing the ageing process 2. Maintaining health and youthfulness and 3. Postponing one's death to his will 4. What are the five basic principles in kayakalpa?
Physical Body

Sexual Vital Fluid Life Force Bio- Magnetism Mind 5. Explain the importance of sexual vital fluid? Birth and death of a human being depends on the sexual vital fluid. The quality of the sexual vital fluid help to Physical and mental health. Maintains the youth, increases the memory power It is the source which produce life force particles The abuse will result in disorders in body and mind and finally the untimely death. 6. Explain Chastity? Chastity is a self discipline process for both men and women to make healthier society. It is a scientifically evolved concept and social sentiment, developed by exercises of life over a long period. It is linked with physiology, biology, sociology and genetics. 7. Explain spiritual development ? One who is maintaining harmony between body and life force and mind. The physical well being is significant spiritual benefit. The sexual energy is transmitted into spiritual energy by directing to the Crown Chakra. The temperamental moods in his mans personality such as greed,

6 anger, miserliness, immoral sexual passion, vanity and vengeance get reduced . Moral behavior and spiritual awareness prevail for the happiness and welfare of all. By regulating the Food, Habits ,Sexual indulgence , Work, Rest and use of Thought force.

8. What is Mind ? The extension of the bio- magnetism through senses and through brain as thought waves is called mind. Extension of life force is mind 9. Differentiate God& Consciousness? Consciousness is the character. God is the phenomenon 10. State the divisions of mental frequencies? 1. Beta wave (14-40 cycle per second) 2. Alpha wave (8-13 cps) 3. Theta wave (4-7 cps) 4. Delta wave (1-3 cps) 11. what are the benefits of meditation? 1. Perspicacity 2. Magnamity 3. Receptivity 4. Adaptability 5. Creativity Part B 1. Chastity is common for men & women Explain Chastity is a self discipline process for both men and women to make healthier society. Both men and women have equal responsibility in maintaining chastity. By the lapse of sexual morality, generally the females have to bear the burdens Marriage is a legal and social contract between man and woman to share sexual responsibility, including parenting. Chastity is not a superstitious belief or a fanatic's idea. It is a scientifically evolved concept and social sentiment, developed by experiences of life over a long period. It is linked with physiology, biology, psychology, sociology and genetics. Man's body chemistry functions wonderfully by the labyrinth work of Nature. Sexual vital fluid is a peculiar chemical Bio-fluid of complex ingredients produced by Nature in the continuity of millions of generations through the hereditary link. The bio magnetism is constantly being converted into pressure, sound, light, taste and smell in the body in its course of circulation, provided the whole mechanism and chemistry of the body are normal. If in any way, some disturbance affects the polarity arrangement of the cells, at that part of the body, bio-magnetism will get shot-circuited and cannot flow as usual. It will be felt a pain, and may become illness. If the bio-magnetism is depleted to a major extent, death occurs. The unique and precious nature of the sexual vital fluid is to be understood, and hence it becomes one's responsibility to maintain its

7 quantity and quality. Therefore sexual morality has been insisted for ages, through the concept of celibacy and chastity to make the society healthier.

2. How does Death Occur? Blood circulation, Heat circulation, Air circulation and the circulation of Bio- Magnetism maintain the functions of body and mind intact. When there is disturbance in any of these activities bio magnetic waves slow down and get stagnated, short circuit happens. Man feels pain due to this short circuit. The life force particles (bio magnetism) rush to the short circuit area and rectify by supplying more life force particles and thereby increasing the formative dust particles which is bio magnetic force and restore normality in the circulations. Now the pain is gone and man gets relieved. If this pain continues for long it becomes disease. Wastage of the bio magnetism coupled with depletion in the production sexual vital fluid the circulatory momentum of the life force particles is lost, get stagnated in the genetic centre. Stock in the genetic centre also is less at this point of time. So the electric power stays losing its momentum in the genetic centre itself. Short circuit happens; fluid container bursts and the stock completely drain out, the circulation of life-force particles gets struck. There is no more Bio-magnetism. Cell structures collapse. All functions stop. And this is death. 3. Kaya Kalpam helps to moral behaviour & spiritual awareness explain it? Under the vethathriam plan and its implementation there will be every opportunity for a timely marriage, as how and when one wishes moral behaviour will be good to ensure health and satisfaction. There will be no restrictions for both sexes to work to do research, entertain and play together. In addition to the physical well being there is significant spiritual benefit. The sexual energy is transmuted into spiritual energy by directing to the Crown Chakra. The enlightenment of consciousness, is achieved naturally. The temperamental moods in mans personality such as greed, anger, miserliness, immoral sexual passion, vanity and vengeance get reduced . Moral behavior and spiritual awareness prevail for the happiness and welfare of all. To sum up, Kaya kalpa is a precious gift to mankind. The practice enables and equips one to maintain physical and mental health, help spiritual development and rejuvenate the physical body to withstand the ageing process. The practice will benefit everyone, regardless of sex, race, religion, caste or creed , to enjoy a happy and energetic life. 4. Explain : Sexual education is important for healthy society ? The years of youth are the blooming period, but they have no life experience to know all about sex. One most important subject in the life of mankind is about the art and science of sex. Sexual gratification, conception, formation and growth of a child, deliver and bringing up the child are very important where the whole life of mankind entwined with these phases. All sciences are taught in the educational system but the very important science of sex is neglected. Physiology,

8 biology, psychology sociology and genetics are combined in the science of sex. If there is no red knowledge of this science, people may become perverted and become victim the awkward teachings of avaricious and immoral people. Therefore, the world needs an explicit education in sexual science, Secrets of birth, life and death should be clearly understood by the young people and such knowledge makes a healthy society. In youth, sexual instinct and force are strong .If there is no knowledge about proper methods and the consequential effects which will affect one's whole life, society Eighty per cent of the disturbances in the life of mankind have their root only in wrong and perverted sex. Therefore, beginning from age thirteen, all children should be taught the sexual education that would cover physiology, biology, psychology, sociology and genetics. We have to save mankind from ruination through sexual ignorance and bad habits. By the force of youth and without knowing the consequences, many boys and girls spoil their lives. Even the adults know very little about the facts of sex, only a few after the age of 45 or 50 get sufficient experiences in sexual intricacies, but by that time their years of sexual activity are nearly over, so what is the use? Therefore, the leaders of society must consider this sex education as vital to human happiness and introduce in all places of learning. 5. Explain Mental Frequency ? The journey of life is between birth and death and once you have understood the law of Nature you know how to reorder your life. so that one doesn't suffer or make others suffer through bad thoughts and deeds. Mind functions by the influence of the bio-magnetic wave. This absorption level can be measured by using an instrument called an electroencephalogram (EEG). The consumption is measured as a frequency (cycles/second or cps) of the functioning mind-wave, and is divided into four ranges: 1. Beta wave (14-40 cps)-completely conscious & awake-normal 2. Alpha wave (8-13 cps)-sub conscious & half awake-agna & thuriam 3. Theta wave (4-7 cps)-sleep-mind expand to sakthikalam 4. Delta wave (1-3 cps)-unconscious- mind expand to sivakalam . When students study at home, they try to find a calm and quiet corner. Then the studied material gets stored at a particular frequency of their bio-magnetism. In the examination hall, when the students are tense, their mental frequency goes to a higher level. For this reason, the information stored when they were at lower frequency does not come to the mind. But if they can remain calm at that time, the information memorized at the lower frequency easily can be accessed. When a person is fully awake and perceiving through the senses frequency ranges from 14 to 40 cps. When one functions in a highly emotional state, like anger or anxiety, the thoughts are registered at a mental frequency above 20 cps. If one can keep the mental frequency below 14 cps he avoids and gets relieved from states of emotional turmoil and can enjoy happiness and peace. In this state, intellectual strength, will-power and creativity are increased and one remains in a receptive, tolerant and magnanimous state of mind When you meditate, both the conversion and the exhaustion are drastically reduced. Consequently the stock is gradually increasing and the rate of conversion is also reduced. You are coming out from a state of tension to a peaceful state of mind. i.e.(14 to1 cps)

KAYA KALPA PHILOSOPH Y

Body is made up of millions of cells . The food that we eat gets transformed into seven whirling forward life force particles and are held by sexual vital fluid Independently functioning, self rotating and whirling forward life force particles are held by sexual fluid. For each life force particle formative dust particles spread out in the form of bio magnetic waves. This life force particles are spent during the body and mind functions. This bio magnetism in dense form is responsible for all our physical and mental activity. The extension of the biomagnetism through senses and through brain as thought waves is called mind. 2. Explain sex and spirituality ? SEX AND SPRITUALITY : Food, work and rest are necessary for every man. The fourth requisite, equally important, is sex. The surplus of sexual fluid has to go out, like any other biological waste. If even after expelling the surplus, you proceed to deplete the stock itself, you are, in effect, reducing the quantity and intensity (quality) of your life-force itself. In turn human magnetism gets reduced and the cellular arrangement is loosened to that extent. Nerves are the casualty in the process. It takes a heavy price to pay for emotional indulgence. If this guiding principle is ingrained in the mind, it would be the best of safeguards. NATURAL FORCE OF ATTRACTION : The natural tendency of each sex is attraction to the other. Sexual vital fluid of both father and mother jointly gives birth to a child. When the age of the child's maturity comes, the surplus sexual vital fluid is to be eliminated. As the parents eliminated their sexual vital fluid, the same action and attraction will blossom in the child, instinctively.

HEALTHY SOCIETY :

In the advanced countries today, people have much experience and awareness of the consequences of sexual relationship. It is not so in all countries and places. Therefore teaching the matured girls and boys about the value of marriage and sex will help maintain a healthy society.
HAPPY LIFE :

In an electrical system the negative and positive wires should connect in the proper point of any mechanism so as to produce the desired result. lost, but there is danger of fire. Similarly, if the sexual morality is not respected in a family, there won't be healthy society and healthy country. MORAL BEHAVIOUR : Under the Vethathirium plan and its implementation, there will be ever opportunity for a timely marriage, as how and when one wishes. Moral behavior| will be good to ensure health and satisfaction. There will be no restrictions for both sexes to work, to do research, entertain and play together REAL LOVE : The mind is invisible. It takes various shapes and images according to the nature and value of the thing with which it gets contact. Such mental images moods are called by several names, such as happiness, anger, fear, courage confidence, etc. When a man and woman get close friendship with one another and make the decision to share the body, life, knowledge and skill with one another and lead life together, such a thought of oneness is real love between sexual partners. This kind of real love helps, secures, protects, saves and enriches the lives of both. 3. What are the ten stages of mind ? Mind : The extension of bio-magnetism through senses and brain is called as mind. Extension of life force is mind
MIND IN TEN STAGES

1.Feeling / Sensation : The Consciousness projects its feeling activity all through the body. Therefore wherever there is a small disturbance it is able to feel the malfunction. The place of disturbance may be very far or subtle but the same is magnified by the brain cells just like loud speaker. So magnifying faculty, Consciousness, bio magnetism; these all are concerned in the experiences of feeling. Feeling of pain is the first extended activity of consciousness. 2.Need : To get rid off the disturbance you need some action. If there is itching, there need to be scratched. So you want some action. Sometimes when it is sultry you want to change the place or environmental condition or if it is the feeling of the appetite you want food. There may be the urge of urination. That also is a pain when it comes to more stagnation; toilet is the need at that point. When the feeling of pain is felt the next eventual progress in the psychic function is called need. So, need erupts from the feeling. You need not go to any study or any laboratory to understand this. Your own experience and knowledge are enough. That is called need.

11 3.Zeal : Second development of your consciousness as a psychic extension is need. When your consciousness tries to satisfy the need it becomes zeal. This is the third psychic extension of consciousness. After zeal the co-ordination of the body namely brain, hand, leg or particular portion of the body begins to work. The effort leads to action. 4. Action : Deed commences with the co-operation of mind and parts of your body such as limbs and senses. Then the action follows. After action there is a result. You may get rid of the pain or you may reduce the pain sometimes. By wrong action pain may increase and every action causes a result. 5. Result : The result is the next psychic extension of consciousness. Feeling of the pain, need, zeal, action, and the result is the fifth extension. The result may lead to joy or sorrow. 6. Enjoyment : Enjoyment or sorrow is also a psychic function. Skin, tongue, nose, eyes and ears are the different faculties which enjoy pressure, taste, smell, vision and sound respectively. The thought through brain activity contributes a lot. 7. Experience : After enjoyment or sorrow experience comes. The recollection of ones enjoyment or sorrow over a period of time is the experience. Experience goes with imprints as reference in the record or automatic reflections. That is the experience. After experience you again come to the same feeling or some other feeling. 8. Research : If you get the pain again you try to recollect the action which gave you the relief. Now you know what to do and how to do. That is the research. It is by trial& error. The result may be positive or negative. 9. Realization : After research then one finds the solution with right decision, which gives one the comfort, the relief and decide to follow the same the next time when you feel the same pains. There are no negative results only positive results with all perfection. 10. Conclusion : After that, you get a conclusion with everything you come across with the experiences in the mind. You can remember all the above ten stages; feeling of the disturbance, sensation, need, zeal, action, result, enjoyment, experience, research, and realization.

Questions and Answer

UNIT III SUBLIMATION Part- A

1. What is Philosophy of Life? In society we live with other fellow beings. All these things are due to the divine force within us. 8. Differentiate Desire & Greediness. The feeling of need and experience of fulfilling it combine in a psychic and physical extension to obtain the necessary things to satisfy the need and enjoy the pleasures of life. This natural emergence of consciousness to work for survival, enjoyment of sensory pleasures and enlightenment is Desire .Desire is unchecked and allowed free rein with the force of excessive attachment to men and materials, it becomes greed. Greed is classified as a temperamental mood - one of the six undesirable temperaments. Desire cannot be annihilated but must be moralized so as not to become greed. Desire is not always the root of only pain and misery; there are also desires that elevate man by resulting in benefits to his life. 9. What are the reasons for Desire to occur? The reasons for Desire is hungry ,thirsty, body temperature The feeling of need and experience of fulfilling it combine in a psychic and physical extension to obtain the necessary things to satisfy the need and enjoy the pleasures of life. 10. What are the six aspects that should be coordinated with regard to any Desire ? There are six aspects that should be coordinated with regard to any desire they are: (vii) The desire itself (viii) Plan (ix) Approach (x) Achievement (xi) Enjoyment (xii) Assessment of the benefits 11. Define Anger? The emotional conflict with the object or person who comes in the way of fulfillment of desire is anger .The nature of desire warns an object comes in the way of fulfillment of desire action to remove that obstruction follows. If the obstruction does not yield to our efforts, the drive to remove it rises to the extent that it affects our mental balance. 12. What is the benefit to tolerance? Tolerance develops relationship with others We love our self Frequent anger will reduce. 13. Define pretended anger? There are few exceptional situations when one does have to act vehemently in order to get the work done. In order to bring order one may have to raise ones voice and even take disciplinary action. In such case, one should not get angry but only act and pretend that he is angry. Part B 1. Explain the three principles of consciousness (Wisdom ) Three stages of wisdom : We have learn that one person's mistake spoil other person's peace. To guard ourselves from making mistakes and committing sins total awareness about everything and being conscious about what we are doing is very essential. We have to cross three stages to attain this wisdom. They are :

14 1. Faith 2. Understanding 3. Perfection 1. Faith : The Guru-Shishya relationship guided the young ones towards wisdom in those days. Even now young ones follow their elders in life. It is quite natural that anyone who is devoid of any knowledge about anything seek assistance from the knowledgeable. They want to follow the footsteps of the learned people. This is called Bakthi Marg. 2. Analytical understanding: Thinking, analyzing and understanding make the knowledge deep-rooted. It doesn't happen just like that. As we grow all our faculties grow. Initially it was through others we understood something. Later we started to think on our own and achieved the required understanding. Through this knowledge one should learn about the structure of the society, the path that leads to divinity and respectfully organize his life. This kind of a person would be very careful in life and will not inflict any injury on any body. His analytical thinking makes him conscious about everything around him. This is called Gnana Marg. 3. Perfection: This is the last stage in Gnana Marg. After the realization of philosophy of life, philosophy of Nature and the nature of wisdom its origin and the end as a vision, through one's minds eye he nurtures it further. In that enlightenment he lives and makes others follow, constantly remaining as a guide. This is perfection. 2. Explain the three protections ? Safety measures Three : Human beings face many serious hazards all through their lives. If a man's life need to be hazard free, pain free and sorrow free and flow as smooth as a brook he requires some protection. 1. Protection from Natural Disasters: Earthquakes, Volcanoes, typhoons, drought, Tsunami are some common [disasters that the world experiences these days. Man needs protection from them | to lead fear-free peaceful life. It becomes a Social responsibility. 2. Protection from the enmity of the fellow-human beings: Enmity with another person is mostly related to jealousy, social customs food protection. There may be some other reasons also. Because of this enmity persons mutually hate one another. Men need deliverance from this enmity, mosquito net is a protection from mosquitoes and the diseases that spread due mosquito bite. Taking a lantern with you in the might to protect yourself from epoisonous creature is also a safety measure. 3. Protection from Accidents: An individual has a plan. Another person also has also a plan. Both have planned the execution pretty carefully. But due to unforeseen circumstances, though careful the accidents happen. We need protection from these circumstances created accidents. These six needs and securities are common for all living beings with no exception. 3. Explain the self - introspection? An individual examines himself and sincerely works to remove the impurities in his personality can he have good physical and mental health and lead a successful life. Such examination is called 'introspection1 or 'self analysis

15 Every night before going to bed it is a good practice to review and analyze the day's events and ponder the lessons to be learnt from the experiences. These together form 'introspection'. If there was a mistake made, make a strong auto-suggestion not to repeat it; if an action was done well, that should be recollected to imprint it strongly in the mind, to be repeated when possible. A habit of introspection is extremely valuable for everyone. Most of our lives are driven by habit. Shri. Vethathiri Maharishi has given us a profound statement: "Habit is destiny. If we wish to influence or control our own destinies we must take this into consideration and form appropriate habits. It is also said that good habits are hard to make and easy to lose, while bad habits are easy to get and hard to lose! Unfortunately, it is all too true. So in order to change our habits, particularly to eradicate those which are unwanted, we need knowledge as well as a practice to accomplish the task. We must start with questions such as 'Why are we living? From where did we come? Where are we going? What is the purpose of life?' Answers to these questions form the core of our knowledge about life. It is a general human tendency that even if we know that an act is not correct and we desire to avoid it, we forget ourselves very easily and continues to repeat the same act. If we are to rise from this level we should identify all our negative, harmful and unwanted thoughts and make sincere effort to change each one of them. Such an analysis and practice is an effective method of applied 'Introspection'. The first topic we have taken is Analysis of Thought, Desire, Anger, worries and who am I ? Respectively. Anger is the continuous process/ a chain process Explain it ? Anger sets up a chain reaction. an officer gets angry with his subordinate. The subordinate is unable to retaliate but he vents his anger on the peon. The peon, unable to retaliate but still fuming. Gets angry with a fellow traveler in the bus who accidentally stamped on his leg. The fellow traveler is now angry and on reaching home, shouts at his wife and she takes it out on her child. We thus see that anger is detrimental in every way and that steps are needed to crub it for the betterment of our lives 5. Enumerate the evil effects of anger? Due to angry bio- magnetism reduces from the body. Anger increase the blood pressure One who is getting angry does not know what he should do and how he should do. Anger destroys the digestive system by increasing hydrochloric acid. Because of angry blood pressure increases affects heart, pulse , nerves system, eyes become red . Anger is inherited Anger is a destructive emotion Anger spoils our relationship with others 4.

16 Part C Describe the philosophy of life? In society we live with other fellow beings. All these things are due to the divine force within us. In order to streamline the mind and thoughts there must be a method to differentiate thoughts for scrutiny or critical assessment. By understanding the reason for the arising of different thoughts, we can arrive at a method of approving or rejecting them as deemed appropriate. The forces giving rise to thoughts can be divided into six categories. A thought may arise. (i) From the force of need (ii) Habit (iii) Environmental conditions (iv) Imposition by others (v) Heredity and (vi) Divinity. Need- Appetite is felt due to the real need for food and ones thought naturally turns to eating this kind of thought is due to the force of need. Habit- A great many of our thoughts are simply automatic; there may or may not be any need or reasoning behind them. This kind of thought is by the fore of habit. Environmental Influence-It happens often that we think of doing something due to the influences of our environment Imposition by others- When we are not alert and aware we often uncritically yield to the thoughts and wishes of others. Relinquishing our own awareness and intellect, we passively fall in line with anothers idea. The root of this thought is the force of the others imposition . Force of Heredity -The characters and unfulfilled desires of previous generations pass on to the descendents through heredity, to be fulfilled at a future date. This gives rise to thoughts due to the influence of heredity . Divinity-The force of divinity is that which inspires an individual to think in a creative and positive way that will be beneficial to many people. Such thoughts are often of a novel nature and difficult to implement, as they are considered unusual and reformist may be ahead of the times. 3.Describe a training method for thought analysis 1. Mark clearly the thoughts that are useful and consider whether adequate resources, convenience and opportunity are available to act on these thoughts. If so such thoughts should be brought into action 6. Note any thought that is unwanted and giving disturbance, and then make auto suggestion several times as I will not allow this thought to arise again as it disturbs my life and wastes my time. 7. Finally if it further necessary to counteract negative thought, a positive thoughts should be super imposed in the mind to replace it. WORK SHEET : ANALYSIS OF THOUGHTS

4. Moralization of desire lead to successful life. explain Moralization of Desire: All living beings have three kinds of natural needs - those arising from hunger, variations in climatic conditions and excretory forces of the body. These needs are to be fulfilled with suitable commodities, facilities and assistance. Man is not exempt from this Law of Nature. Whenever one of these needs arises it is natural that one remembers the same commodities, facilities and assistance and the same methods that he had resorted to earlier for fulfilling the need. Here the feeling of need and experience of fulfilling it combine in a psychic and physical extension to obtain the necessary things to satisfy the need and enjoy the pleasures of life. This natural emergence of consciousness to work for survival, enjoyment of sensory pleasures and enlightenment is Desire. It has been said that desire is the cause for all man's miseries. It is not so; pain or pleasure is in the method of pursuit and limitation of desire in life. When desire is kept under watch and awareness, it will result in a creative and purposeful life. Desire becomes excessive only when it creates or arises from emotional attachment with men, materials or enjoyment it then becomes inordinate desire, or greed. If desire is unchecked and allowed free rein with the force of excessive attachment to men and materials, it becomes greed. Greed is classified as a temperamental mood - one of the six undesirable temperaments. Desire cannot be annihilated but must be moralized so as not to become greed. Desire is not always the root of only pain and misery; there are also desires that elevate man by resulting in benefits to his life 5. Discuss the training method of moralize of desire a. 28 Part -B 1.Explain cause and effect philosophy in detail ?

CAUSE AND EFFECT SYSTEM : The human civilization evolved 65 million years ago. When the human civilization was young, education and literature were rare. In such periods, the enlightened people made efforts to spread their revelations for the welfare and peace of mankind.
In the course of their efforts they framed the path of religious devotion (Bhakthi).Under this system they glorified the divine power in imaginative ways. In order to strengthen the inducement to perform good deeds, they created another imaginary place and named it "Hell", and Heaven Philosophy of Nature is not anything that is intricate. There is a Law in nature which is as inexorable as the Law of Gravity and that is the Law of Cause-and Effect which is unfailing and precise in its functioning. The acts of man are eating, sleeping, listening, laughing, weeping, giving, taking, loving, hating, assaulting, befriending, raging, repenting, harassing, forgiving, reading, writing and the like. Every act, whether of Nature or man, has a result. In other words, there is no action without result and once a deed has been committed the outcome cannot be prevented or avoided. For example when one claps his hands a characteristic sound is heard. Clapping made a pressure in the atmosphere. Nature reacts to each of our actions, fittingly. . The Philosophy of Nature can be learnt from a tiny little seed that we place in the garden. What is there in the seed? Life - energy. The sapling grows to a height of a few centimeters or meters depending on the species and thereafter there is stagnation for a while. 2. Compare the genetic centre with computer? The computers developed by scientists of these days, there is an organic computers in every living being, designed by divinity. It is the magnetic genetic center. Genetic center, the bio-logical computer, is a reparatory of all Nature's history and is a universal reflecting mirror of intensified magnetic energy. Man is the fortunate creature who can realize the truth of this marvelous aspect of Nature. It is the duty of man, who is endowed with the sixth sense, to respect this divine treasure and maintain it. Realized persons and thinkers should always be aware, and do their deeds after analysis to be prepared for their consequent results. Through their efforts they should endeavor to preserve the integrity of their genetic centers. 3. Explain any five cultural value ? TRUTH Truth triumphs' is a fact. All saints and sages tried to communicate this message to all human beings. But still some people think that speaking truth all the time will take a man nowhere. They feel that it is impossible to be truthful ever. Thoughts - speeches - deeds are needed to be connected and consistent. Otherwise one becomes a split personality. He might speak one thing and do a different thing in contrast to what he had spoken. dividends. 'Do what you say' is the best policy that brings you success every time.
HONESTY :

29 PATIENCE : Knowingly or unknowingly some one may get angry with you or hurt you. one has to remain calm and follow patience. This enables one to keep healthy and mind becomes stronger.
EXCUSE :

Vengeance is an animal instinct. When someone harms, you don't repeat it. \e will feel sorry for his action. Excusing is a courageous act and excusing is /inning. Man harms another because of arrogance and when emotional. The habit Of excusing others and helping them come only to the matured and cultivated persons.: excuse is SELF CONTROL : Control over one's mind results in regulating all acts, done by skin, t< nose, eyes and ears. Consciousness over rules emotions. This will result in deeds and gives only success. For this one has to practice any met! Concentration or meditation regularly.
OBEDIENCE

One's obedience will command respect from others. When others respect a person he is considered to be successful in life. Obedience is showing respect to elders, seniors and superiors. An obedient person will be loved by all blessing will make one live in peace. 4. Compare love and compassion with any examples ?
Love and Compassion Love is unifying power, providing sustenance and protection is the quality of Compassion. In all the evolution and functioning of the divine work of Nature the two enduring characters are love and compassion. If one does not live in tune with the natural power of love and compassion, and lives selfishly

or aggressively, he will live an isolated life, uncared for by others just like a kite without a string and will have to suffer from loneliness and neglect. If one lives with the awareness that love and compassion are the fountains of delight for human life then it would result in a radiant face, pleasing words, helping tendency and successful life. Friendship with all will come naturally. "Love cures people - both the ones who give it and the ones who receive it". For example, 1. Think of an egg: the shell keeps it unified, intact. That is the quality we call love. The shell is protecting the growing embryo at the same time is in with micro pores allowing air for the respiration of the growing chick and also is in their enough to be broken by the well developed chick. This is the kindness of divine which is compassion

We should sincerely wish well for everyone, realizing that everyone has hidden troubles and sufferings in his heart and needs our love and compassion. Part C 1.Describe the law of nature related to cause and effect ? The human civilization evolved 65 million years ago. They exalted this divine force and created a belief that God will reward those who worship Him with all the comforts of life. They further created and described an imaginary place called "Heaven", claming that those who indulge in good deeds and lead a virtuous life will

30 be accorded a place near by God. They did this in order to motivate the innocent people to engage in good acts. In order to strengthen the inducement to perform good deeds, they created another imaginary place and named it "Hell", and Heaven Philosophy of Nature is not anything that is intricate. There is a Law in nature which is as inexorable as the Law of Gravity and that is the Law of Cause-and-Effect which is unfailing and precise in its functioning The shining of stars, the orbiting of planets, the rotation of the Earth, the change of seasons, the falling of rain, the eruption of volcanoes and such-like phenomena-these are the acts of Nature. But the sound was the result created by the Nature, which no one can stop. Beating causes pain and massaging gives relief. Eating dispels hunger but excess of food causes indigestion. Sleep clears fatigue but too much of sleep makes you sluggish and ill. If every action has a result, the reverse should also be true, that when a pain or a pleasure is experienced, there must have been some action precedent to cause it. Nature reacts to each of our actions, fittingly. So, one should remember not to cause any pain or suffering to self or others at present or future either to the body or mind. When we adopt this principle in life, actually we are learning to look before we leap so that we may not land in a quagmire or quicksand. This is 'Awareness' and when this quality gets ingrained in us we are able to achieve what we deserve, for we go along the appropriate track. The Philosophy of Nature can be learnt from a tiny little seed that we place in the garden. What is there in the seed? Life - energy. In appropriate environment, that is, in moist soil warmed by the rays of the sun, this life-energy in the seed projects upward with a certain velocity. That is how it breaks through the topsoil and we see the marvel of a sprout, a sapling, waving its head in the breeze in exultation of defying gravity and growing upwards.
2. Explain Cultural Values ?

Man is unique in the manifestations of the Universe. And he is supreme long living beings on the Earth. He is gifted with a special physical structure at is capable of using instruments to increase the working power of his limbs id senses. Man, further, is endowed with the sixth sense which enables and equips him to know the secrets of Nature and its Law of functioning which cannot understood by the five sensed animals. The skill of regulating the activities of man in order to maintain peace happiness among one and all in the society is the Science of Life.Such a safe, protected and balanced method of enjoying life with the n view of respecting the needs of ambitions of one another in order to maintain brotherhood in the society is called 'Culture'. There is a word 'Kalacharam' in Tamil and near equivalents in other eastern languages. Actually it is a compound world made up 'Kalai' (Art) and 'Acharam (Virtue). The five segments of this Culture are (1) Awareness, (2) Self Exams of Introspection; (3) Moral Consciousness, (4) Duty Consciousness; and (5) Consciousness

31 The practice of Awareness is formulated under this process. Then the very important practice "Introspection" starts..Self Realization, Maneuver of Six temperaments and Eradication of Worries are the practical training in this process. Moral Consciousness is the third stage. All should enjoy the birthright and freedom of life. These can be fully enjoyed only when every man follows the moral virtue so as to regulate his own actions, respecting the needs and ambitions of others. The teachings of the law of Nature and the benefits of virtuous behavior and the practice of moral living in a systematic method are the main features in this practice. The five kinds of duties to Self, Family, Relatives, State and the World and their values in human society are thoroughly dealt in this process. The final process deals with the Perfection of knowledge. The method of minimizing the activities of life to the state of absolute silence is the aim of this practice. The soul with Total Consciousness gets merged with the Almighty by this psychic practice. The oneness of all the manifestations of Nature is realized. A culture formulated under this process of five systematic practices is what is referred to as "Fivefold culture". Any reformation in the life of mankind requires four series of activities. They are (1) Research; (2) Realization; (3) Practice; and (4) Perfection or Achievement. To reform or utilize the Kalacharam for the welfare of mankind in this Age. Divine force through self transformation has blossomed into natural resources, living beings, self and society when one understands this divine concept his mind become cultured.
